Description of Work: Originally, I purchased a 5 windows for $1,395 deal here on Angie's List. Justin came out promptly to take the initial measurements and consult with me on what I wanted. He was very friendly, helpful, and taught me a lot. Several of the windows I needed to replace were within a certain distance of floors and doors, thereby requiring tempered glass (which is not included in the coupon price). After this first consultation, a man named John came out to take final measurements and confirm every detail before placing the order. Not long after the first batch of windows were ordered, I undertook other home renovations which led me to want to replace additional windows (I ended up replacing every window in my house because I was so pleased with how things were going and because the pricing was extremely reasonable). I contacted Justin, and he sent John back out to measure and place my second order. Setting up scheduling for installation was a breeze; John and his team of installers were always prompt, friendly, and courteous. I can't speak highly enough of my interactions with every single team member, and I would absolutely recommend them for any window replacement.

Description of Work: They did a great job, however, we purchased the Angie's deal for 1395. and then the typical upsale process begins. We actually had other stucco companies come out to give us estimates because we felt that Approved was high. Based on our other estimates that were lower, we were able to get Approved to come down from the original estimate of 4000. |I wish you could encourage these contractors to honor the Angie's List deal, instead of it just appearing to be an appetizer course for the contractors to upsell.

Description of Work: Justin came to my house 6/24 Wed. did the measurements and estimate. With the voucher the total came to $9855. I gave him a check for $985 for the 10% down payment. Since I leave for work 1pm Mon - Fri. I asked him if they work Saturdays, he said no but John might call me Sat. or Mon. for final measurements. I waited for John's call Sat. but he did not call. Friday I called Justin and made an adjustment, to cancel the Master bathroom windows and instead do the kitchen window. Monday I had an appointment with Coughlin Windows and Doors to do estimates. I informed him I already have a contract with Approved Contractor and that they are installing the Anlin windows for me. He told me they were great windows but asked which Anlin window, I told him the Monte Verde. He told me that of all the Anlin windows, the Monte Verde is the worst in quality. He further asked me about the cost and the number of windows, I told him 13 windows with a total of $9255. He told me that if he could give me a better price and a lot better window could I give him a chance to make the presentation. So I did and he made a very good offer, a thousand+ less than Approved Contractor's price. Monday 6/29 I cancelled the contract with Approved Contractor faxing the cancellation notice to their main office and sending a message to Justin through Angie's List. I then called you to ask for refund of the voucher.

Description of Work: They did 1 window and 1 sliding glass door. Both look good and work well. I makes down on punctuality because they started about an hour later than quoted. The blame partly lies on the city for blocking the road off, but they were late to arrive in the first place and could have started on time if they had let me know that they couldn't find parking. There is a large gap around the door that they filled with caulking because the house is warped. This didn't get fully filled in, so I had to buy caulking and fill it in myself. Both of these are minor and I would highly recommend them in the future. I will probably use them fore the other 2 sliding doors and a window in the future.

Description of Work: The salesperson came out and took the required measurements for an exterior paint job (that I didn't necessarily want, but he offered and I was curious about the cost) and for the replacement windows that I originally purchased a so-called "Big Deal" for. This service provider provides many different home improvement services, and I soon realized that the salesperson was unaware of what service I had signed up for, but he gave me quotes for both painting and window replacement. He wrote both quotes...just bottom line figures...on a business card...and that was it. The quote for painting was quite high, in my opinion, the quote for the windows wasn't accompanied by any indication that I was benefiting from the "Big Deal" I had purchased, and I wasn't even offered a catalog to see what it was that I was (potentially) purchasing for thousands of dollars. I am hereby requesting a refund for the "Big Deal" I purchased that induced me to get these estimates.

Description of Work: Trench 4 inches arour th home, Hydro blas remove dirt,stains,loose paint. Patch and repair masonery cracks apply stucco loose or missing. Mask windows and other sufaces for protection. Apply Primer Bonder, Apply finish coat scrape,sand,patch,prime and paint eaves,fascia and decorative wood trim Clean up all job debris. Labor warranty 4 years, against peeling chipping and flaking on stucco surfaces. We are very pleased with the work.
