Description of Work: Excellent experience throughout the entire process. The initial visit was very informative; no hard sales approach and the price was excellent. I referred them to my sister and she also used Approved Contractors to replace all of her windows. The window installers were very nice and worked around my office window since I have a home office. My windows are absolutely beautiful, from the panes, to the sills and trim. I had no idea how lovely they would make each room. And knowing they will always look as new as they do right now and never need to be painted is an added bonus. I would recommend Approved Contractors to any and all.

Description of Work: Spray cleaned exterior of house. Patched & repaired all stucco on exterior of a 1950's house. Painted/sealed exterior of house. Removed all gutters per our request. Took longer than originally told, but end product looked great. A little high even using Angie's list for price, but we did add several tasks to original quote. House looks great, hopefully it will last as sold. Would recommend.

Description of Work: These folks are super responsive, both in terms of responding to inquiries through Angies List messaging, and in scheduling the appointment. We were very impressed. Our experience with the sales rep was a little less impressive, however. After looking at our window project he "floated" a price by us verbally - we had the impression he was trying to gauge our reaction to see if he was in the ballpark, and then pressured us to commit to the deal right then and there. ("What can I do to get you to sign off on this today?") We told him we were getting another quote and he asked us to let him know if he needed to come down on price to win our business. My husband and I like to work with people we feel comfortable with, and we just felt like the sales guy was not being honest or up front with us. Ultimately we got another bid at about 60% of Approved Contractor's estimate. The other company provided us a very professional written bid and didn't pressure us in the least. This immediately won us over. We like working with someone who is willing to come out, give us his/her best price for our project, and be straightforward with us in terms of recommending the right solution. We don't buy on price - we buy on relationship - and we're sorry to say Approved Contractor's sales guy didn't make us feel comfortable that we were getting an honest deal.

Description of Work: We had 20+ windows and a sliding door installed by Approved Contractor in December. It took only 2 days to install. We're happy with the quality, the men who installed the windows were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. |We recently had an accidental damage to one of our screens and were quickly shipped a replacement, which Approved Contractor offered to install if we weren't comfortable doing so. |I'm very pleased with their work and would recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Replaced 7 windows with their dual pane energy efficient windows. |I did purchase the upgrades for Low-E3 and Argon gas, I think for where I live (SoCal) this will be a good investment. |There were no problems, we met initially to go over paperwork & pricing, within a few days the windows were being measured and about 3 weeks later they were being installed. Everything was done professionally, cleanly, and blinds, etc., were replaced after installation. Overall a great job! |

Description of Work: I enjoyed meeting with the salesperson. The quote they gave us was good. The problem was that we didn't want to use the product that was included in the bid.

Description of Work: The deal covered up to 1500 sq ft. I did not understand that the exterior of my home came out to way more square footage and cost after the discount was $15,000. That was just too high a price even after the discount. We can't afford that kind of price at this time, but would consider them for the future.

Description of Work: Justin, the rep, was very courteous and professional when he visited my home for the estimate. Since this was my first estimate, I wanted to get some comps. I got 3 different prices from other Angie's list A-rated companies and Justin's was the highest, even with the 'discount'. When I brought this to his attention, he did lower the bid, but only to the middle of the range of estimates I received. I did not feel like I was getting 50% off of the 3 windows I wanted to replace as the ad said. Their final pricing was on par with competitors who were advertising 10-15% off. This is the second time that I've bought a 'deal' through Angie's list that turned out to be too good to be true.
