I spent about $400 on that service. I liked that he was my neighbor and that we got a long very well. He did exactly what he said he would do and when he said he would do it. He was a good painter. He was also very professional.

Painting walls in our 54-year-old home takes someone with a lot of experience, and that's the primary reason I always call Andy. He came out and gave us an estimate to paint the kitchen walls and ceilings. He showed up promptly as promised and began the job. We recently updated our cabinets, and those workers left what I will only call "serious wall issues". Andy used his tools and techniques to completely mend the flaws and bring the surface back to almost new texture. He took extraordinary care to protect the entire work area. The painting was flawless, he really is a perfectionist. He gave me excellent advice on color choice. I will definitely use him for all future painting projects, and recommend him without reservation.

After purchasing the discounted voucher, I immediately contacted Mr. Sturtevant to set an appointment. He was on a job and unable to answer the phone, so I left a message. My call was returned the same day. I described the job which comprised exterior paint on the front facing portion of our house, no trim painting. Like a pro, he asked about the material on the house (wood, stucco, etc..), asked if the old paint was peeling, and asked about mold growth. I answered all of his questions. I informed Mr. Sturtevant that I had already purchased the paint to be used (2 gallons) and was informed by the store clerk that it would be plenty of paint for use of a paint sprayer over the calculated square footage. Mr. Sturtevant was initially skeptical about the amount of paint required, but then indicated that it should be enough. We chatted a bit which was pleasant, and he said he would get back to me with a date since I asked to be put on the schedule as soon as possible. It took several days to hear back at that point. I ended up calling Mr. Sturtevant back to remind him that he was supposed to give me an appointment date. He apologized and inidcated that he has been having trouble with his appointment record keeping. He then placed me on the schedule for July 6th and stated that he would call to confirm a few days before the appointment. A day before the appointment (approximately) he contacted me to let me know that his sprayer broke and he would have to put it in the shop. He indicated that the last time it occurred, it was only in the shop for a few days. He was going to drop it off that day and expected to be ready to do our work the following Monday. When Monday came around, we didn't hear back from Mr. Sturtevant. I waited until Friday and then called to ask if his equipment had ben repaired. He told me tha the had not received an update and would call the shop. He did just that and informed me that he would be able to pick up his sprayer on the following Monday. He had previously asked if he would need an extension ladder and I said "no", forgetting about the slope on the side of the house. However, when he informed me that the sprayer had been repaired, I let him know that he would need the extension ladder after all. He then scheduled to come to the house on Tuesday. Mr. Sturtevant showed up on time with his beautiful dog (which was kept in an oversized crate with water). The dog was well behaved, smart, and happy to be there in the fresh air with Andrew. Mr. Sturtevant was nice, knowledgeable, and accomodating. I showed Mr. Sturtevant the areas to be painted and asked if he could stain the front door if our time allowed. He indicated that though he would need to mask off the house, but should have enough time to stain the door if we had all of the materials (we did). He worked very quickly and efficiently. By 3:00, he had already painted the entire front of the house and was ready to stain the door. I gave him all of the materials I had and he transformed the door from old and weathered, to dark and lovely. Afterward, he removed the plastic and tape and revealed the painted house. There was no overspray on plants or the ground and the paint was even and beautiful. Our neighbors all came by to tell us how nice of a job Mr. Sturtevant did and we were beaming with joy. We are very happy with the job performed by this expert and would definitely recommend and use him again.

He arrived as he said he would and started work and finished in the same day which is what we needed. He was very kind to offer some painting tips that I appreciated since I do some painting in my home myself. He painted the walls in one bedroom and in the suite bath. The ceiling in the living area had some damage but it came out looking perfect. It all worked out very well for us.

Andy provided outstanding service. He repaired wall edge and nail holes, put on two coats of paint, and cleaned up spotlessly. I was so impressed that I had him give us an estimate for a bedroom suite. He returns next week to paint that area. What a find!

Used Angies's List The Big Deal "$199 for a Painter for a Day." We made the appointment about two weeks ahead of time. He arrived promptly, did an excellent job, was courteous and professional. We liked his work and attitude so much we asked him for estimates for additional outside work for house trim and patio cover as well some more interior work. Andy is a very good painter and works fast and efficiently. We were extremely satisfied with his work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or use his services in the future.

Everything went VERY well. I am pleased with all of the results.

Andy pressure-washed not only the eaves, but the stucco, windows and doors as well. When he was finished, I was amazed to see the results. We had been thinking that maybe we should get the stucco painted, but after washing it looked almost like new.

We were given an estimate in advance of the work beginning. Andy came out and did a thorough inspection and pointed out areas where the eaves would need wood repair and/or replacement. It was obvious that he knew what needed to be done. He kept us informed throughout the entire job. One extra we did not expect was the power washing of our eaves AND THE STUCCO! We thought he might have put a quick coat on the entire house because it was so clean afterward.

Andy was prompt and reliable. He quoted what I considered a fair price compared to other bids and stuck to the price and time-frame. He is a bit of a perfectionist, but he does impecable work. I will definitely use him in the future.
