American Vision Windows

Had 11 windows installed for 15k, still chose AVW even tho their estimate was higher. You get what you pay for is what I was going for…. Well I wish I went with the other company. The silicone job they left after installing the windows is the worst silicone job I’ve ever seen, my 10 year old son could do better than what these “professionals” left. The make up of these windows is nothing like what they show you when they’re giving you the sales pitch, our windows have gaps all over. You gotta also worry about them installing the wrong windows that don’t me egress requirements, now we gotta have three new windows Uninstalled and newer ones reinstalled in order to meet egress requirements. Who in their right minds would let the same company take on the task of fixing their mistakes? Not me. I asked to be refunded for the three windows not meeting egress in order to go else where to have them reinstalled. They offered $750.00 for three, the quote I hit for three windows was close to 5k from a local window store. I strongly do not suggest this place. Customer service is a joke and their work is a joke.

The production of the product took a little longer than expected, but as soon as the windows were ready the install was super fast. The guys finished all 18 windows of my home in 1 day! The communication with the office can be improved, but overall I has a very good experience. I would definitely recommend.

The project went very well. The crew arrived promptly each day and cleaned up after themselves each afternoon, leaving no messes. They were professional and worked efficiently. The doors are gorgeous--particularly the bifold doors. And the company was quite responsive to a post-installation concern, acting on it immediately.

They were excellent on every level. Figuring out the sizes, the deliver,and the installation. They were outstanding. Highly recommended.

They arrived on time, workers were very friendly and informative. Made me and my wife very at ease on what we thought was going to be a big and messy job. Job went very smoothly.

Original estimate was for 2 weeks from signing but apparently delays in window delivery resulted in 5 weeks. Work was done amazingly fast in 2 days once materials were delivered. Spotless work.

Diego was an impressive sales person and we had done our research, so we signed up the same evening. His knowledge of construction aided the process immensely. We had the order filled out that night in a marathon session! with all design decisions made. Measurements were taken again on appt., the order was placed. Windows came in on the earliest date given, and we scheduled the installation. A flock of installers and windows decended on our jome and old wimdows were flying out and new ones in, and by the end of the day most windows were done, only the sliding glass doors, the custom eork and the back door were left and took 5 more days to complete. We really enjoyed the craftsmem who were doing these jobs, they were so talented and worked hard every day. We were so glad to tackle this kitchen wimdow becaise the demo showed the old structure to be rotted. The skill and expertise of these men that worked on creating a whole new design is much appreciated, and the whole house is so much more comfortable with these new timted and heat resistamt windows. Quieter too. The company was respmaive to any concerns amd communication was very good throughout the job.

Once I had signed the contract it was hard to get a response for estimates on additional services and I finally just gave up. I had to request a return visit to fix sealing and caulking which had gaps and the repair was done promptly.

Amir was our salesman who spent so much more time than those other salesman from other window companies. In fact we had the price before he walked out the door. We also did the Lowes and Hiome Depot estimates...Forget it . I want a warranty from the people who sell and install the windows and doors. We entrusted Amir to install 41 windows, entry door, dining room french doors and two sliders. The installers were just as he described...THE BEST! Constantly cleaning, cutting, installing, one lunch break and back at it. On time and delivered as promised plus more...Customer Service!! Hats off to Amir and the team at American Vison Windows and Doors!!!! Plus if its in your area take advantage of the HERO program too.

Please note that not only did I buy replacement doors from this company I also purchased a roof top solar system (Gina was wonderful to work with) and exterior Tex-Cote painting. Total cost of project was around $70,000 so the lack of professional and customer service by Gene B. in reference to the doors is notable.

We got a quote from American Vision from their salesperson Glenn. They quoted us $4,590 for 8 Del Mar Anlin windows. We decided we wanted to go ahead but needed to add one more window to our quote. My husband called and talked to another sales associate and the price for the smallest window was more than any of the other windows we were quoted for. When my husband asked about this, the sales associate was very rude and said that the prices we were quoted were not for the Del Mar windows but actually for a lower grade window. That was not possible as the sales associate I talked to barely mentioned that they had any other windows than the ones he was quoting me for. Also, we had received a quote for the cheaper windows he was referring to from another company that was actually over $1,000 less than the quote we received from American Vision. The sales associate my husband talked to was very rude and said that they would "honor" that price but that we had to call them and schedule by the next morning, which was a Saturday, pressuring us to make a decision quickly. I called the next day to clarify and they did not pick up and never called us back. My husband also asked about the deal they were advertising on Yelp and Angies List that they would waive the tax and the sales associate said that they don't do that. When my husband reiterated that it was posted on both Yelp and Angies List, the guy tried to claim that they only do that if you schedule an install immediately when you receive your quote. It quite clearly said nothing about that on either Yelp or Angies List. We decided to go with another company because we did not like their bait and switch pricing and the rudeness of their sales associates.

American Vision is WONDERFUL!!!! Not only was Tom Fisher, our "project manager," very nice and not pushy but he explained everything so that we were comfortable with this large investment. We started out only expecting to replace the sliding glass door & one window and the order expanded. We were amazed when we saw the difference these windows will have in our home for keeping out the heat/cold. (One room gets direct sunlight so it gets really hot in the summer.) When he can today to check on the installation process, he made sure everything was running smoothly. In talking to him about how great the rooms looks and that we won't be putting up the old blinds, he mentioned they do window coverings. No pressure & he showed us a product that is perfect for our needs. We ordered shades for five windows from him. (That was another $960.) I would recommend American Vision to anyone needing windows and/or window coverings. They have a great product, the windows look great and we are very pleased. I'm looking forward to getting the new shades.

Dealing with American Vision Windows was fantastic! I really appreciated how well they adhered to the time frame established for installation. It took into account my schedule. The team, who did the installation was clean, professional, and responsive to questions. This company is clearly dedicated to customer satisfaction. In ordering, I neglected to specify I wanted dead bolts installed on all three sliding doors. I made one phone call, and very quickly the additional dead bolt was installed. American Vision windows also used top end insulation material around the windows, which will further help to keep the house comfortable. Finally, they did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each day. Everyone I dealt with from this company was easy to work with and totally customer oriented. Great experience!

Ski came to the house to measure all the windows and gave us a quote on the spot. They came from the Simi Valley area to San Diego without a problem. I was very appreciative of that. The quote was very fair, so we signed a contract. After a week or so, my husband and I changed our minds on two of the windows (stationary to operable). I called SKI and he told me he would get me another quote and "Change Order" immediately. It was in my INBOX after I got off work. We signed and went forward. They sent another individual to do the actual measurements and he cautioned us that we should not proceed until we confirm we don't need a permit and get HOA approval for the new windows. We were converting some windows that were stationary to operable. All was on hold until we actually received approval from the HOA, in writing and documentation that shows no permit was required. Once American Vision Windows obtained the needed information, they ordered the windows. The company owners EMAIL'd us with VIDEOS of the progress of our windows! They emailed us with "the next step" videos as well. We were informed the windows came in earlier than expected (a week) and they could do the installation. Another email video came to us from the owners telling us how to proceed in preparing for the installation and to call if there are any problems. I was VERY impressed. I called with questions regarding the installation of the larger windows. The woman assured me that they send teams to each job that specialize in the complexity of the job. On installation day, they showed up on time and got right to work. What I thought would take all day, took only 4 hours (give or take). My husband was here for the whole thing and was extremely impressed with their professionalism. They cleaned up completely when done and left NO DEBRIS behind. They showed him the completed job and asked if he had questions. The smaller windows opened a lot faster than the larger because they were so small, and tended to make the window tilt.. It was only because of the lack of "stops" on the bottom of the window that were on the top. The installer said he would submit the concern. AVW called me to ask about it and I told her the dilema. I took pictures and she said she would send me stops for the smaller windows (bottom part). I received them in the mail two days later. They were too big though. When I told her that, she had someone from ANLIN send me the correct ones. I am VERY PLEASED with the overall outcome of the windows and installation! I will definitely be calling again when the downstairs windows get replaced.
