We wanted to bring our audio and video system into web connectivity, but didn’t really have a good handle on how that could be done. Seth came to our house and saw what we needed, helped us make good decisions that conserved the best parts of our old system and blended them with new technology. The end product is great sound and great video. I think Seth is thoughtful and reliable – a good place to start.

The absolute best! We put out calls to three home theater companies. Seth from Aire Theater was first to return our call, then came out the very next day and evaluated our needs. He was quick, professional, and very much a consultant rather than a salesman. Installers Danny and Chuck were equally professional and very knowledgable. They installed the TV and patio audio, as well as a six-foot component rack in a separate utility room (wired through the attic and controlled wirelessly via iPad) and programmed the entire system over three days' time. So the only thing in our family room is the TV on the wall and the iPad on the coffee table. Very clean. Seth was out here every day to check progress and answer questions. We got a high-end system at a reasonable price. It sounds and looks great (we may never go to a theater again!) and the service was terrific. Can't recommend ATD highly enough.

This is a great company. I was having a custom built-in entertainment center installed (see separate review for Smitty Built-ins), and they recommended Seth at Aire Theater Designs. Seth communicated directly with Smitty to make sure all the dimensions were good for the components, and to coordinate installation schedules. Seth spent a lot of time explaining all the options and costs, and there was no pressure to up-sell anything. His installation guys were very professional, did good quality work, and left no mess. On each of the two days of installation (pre-wiring before the entertainment center was installed, then final installation later) Seth personally came to my house, made sure I understood what was going to be done and made sure his team knew what to do. I felt very comfortable with the quality of the work and the professionalism of Seth and his team. As luck would have it, the TV started malfunctioning just days after the installation. Seth patiently trouble-shooted the problem, and ultimately determined that it was a defect in the TV. But he didn't just blame the TV and move on. He called the TV customer support for me and got the service ticket started, called them back the next day to follow up, and didn't let anything drop until the TV was fixed. It turns out that he was right-- the TV was defective-- but he didn't take final payment until everything was perfect, even though none of the problems were his fault. This is a professional who knows what he is doing, and backs it up with his actions. A pleasure to work with.

Went very well. While he was drilling a hole he accidentally hit a water pipe. They called a plumber and the water leak was fixed within 30 minutes. They paid for the $300 plumbing cost and cleaned up the area spotlessly. Came back at a later stage to check system.

The process started with a very in depth phone consultation to determine the choices I needed to make for my particular situation. When John carefully questioned me about the wall on which the TV was to be mounted, he correctly identified possible issues involved mounting on an exterior wall, that had been converted to an interior wall, in an older home. During the phone conversation, I was comfortable John understood what I wanted, but he took the additional step of offering to come to my home to do a site inspection. His site inspection was very valuable to me by providing a very clear picture of what needed to be done and what the end result would be. None of the other companies were interested in doing a site inspection. I learned more in the forty minutes I spoke with John on the phone than I had talking to eight other A/V installation companies. I was impressed his company had a contractor's license (884707) and used a licensed electrical subcontractor for the new electric outlet. His answers were very specific vs. the very general "we will make it work" type responses I received from the other companies. For example, John explored the need for good surge protection and explained how it could be done best in my installation without increasing my costs. John was available by phone or email to answer my questions before, during, and after the installation. He was (and still is) very responsive to my communications. His knowledge and concern for my satisfaction made for a very enjoyable experience. The work was started on time and finished within the estimated time frame. The work area was left cleaner than when they began. Their customer service was excellent before and after the job was complete and paid for--unlike many service providers.
