Excellent service. Arrived on time. Worked quickly and did not try to up sell me any additional services.

Had an emergency at 11:45pm on a Saturday night...sewage coming up...called two plumbing companies to see who could get someone out right away, Only affordable drain service was willing to come out so late on a weekend...even with their on call guy almost 1hr drive away...he showed up on time, eager to start, and quickly and comprehensively solved the problem while being careful not to cause any further damage. Discussed possible causes and potential next steps. Did not complain about time...was not rushed...cleaned up completely after himself, final price was less than what I was expecting even based on the initial call...no complications at all. Would use their services again if needed.

Beware of this company's price changes in the middle of the job, as well as shoddy and dirty workmanship. Based on favorable reviews on Angie's List, I called Affordable Drain to get a price for cleaning the main drain between my home and the city's sewer line. I was quoted a range of $112 to $152 to clean out my drain (with the high end applying if a toilet removal was required for access and the length of the drain exceeded 75 feet). I agreed and this large company dispatched Felipe to my home. He arrived and began work without telling me his name. (He was very uncommunicative. I had to ask him his name later when problems arose.) He removed our brand new Toto toilet in our master bathroom and began to push the cable and cutter device into the drain. About 1 hour later, without encountering any blockage, he had gone only 75 feet. When I informed him I needed to run an errand, he went to his truck and presented me with a printed form stating that I agreed to pay $152, plus $98 per hour for all time he spent after 1 and 1/2 hours. I signed only the part agreeing to pay $152 for them to clean out my main drain. While I was gone, he apparently continued to work. When I returned, he had gone only an additional 5 feet (about 80 feet total). He again tried to get me to sign a form stating I would pay for his time over 1 and 1/2 hours at a rate of $98 per hour. I refused and asked to speak with a manager. He called Dan, a manager, and I explained to him what I was told regarding the price range for cleaning my drain (i.e., $112 - $152). Dan said it was the practice of his company's telephone workers to tell customers that if the work took longer than 1 and 1/2 hours, then they would have to pay $98 per hour for the extra work. I told him that was NOT what I was told. I gave him two options: 1. to complete the work for the agreed $152 fixed price; or 2. to have his worker pack up and leave. Felipe then spoke with Dan and then began to pack up. Affordable left without cleaning out my main drain. Furthermore, on reinstalling my new toilet, Felipe did not re-caulk around the base and lost/took one of the nut covers, leaving the flange bolt exposed (both unsightly and unsafe). Also, his machine had spit up much black drain waste onto our new flooring and cabinets. Although he wiped them down, I can only shudder to think about the unsanitary nature of the residue left behind. Without a goodbye, Felipe left the house. I was TOTALLY DISSATISFIED with the service of this company, both at the tech level and management level. Please avoid this company if you want to avoid the problems I encountered.

In both our commercial business and private home they did quality work, were professional, helpful and went beyond what was expected in terms of clean up and service.

Affordable Drain Service was recommended to me by Peter Felber, a local plumber who has always given me good service and advice. I have a periodic blockage in the sewer line at my rental house, the last time it was cleared was 3 weeks ago, then my tenant reported that the drain was slow again on Monday night. Upon Peter's advice, I called Affordable at about 10:30am, they gave me a detailed price breakdown over the phone and had a tech at the house by 11:45am. Nick was pleasant and professional, discussed the price again which I agreed to and ran the camera down the line. He showed me where and what the problem was (offset of pipes at the join) and cleared out the roots. Then he determined where the problem was from the surface and marked the ground so I don't have to dig all over the yard to find the problem area to fix! I was impressed with the rig that he had, which included a generator in case an electrical outlet wasn't available. The whole process wasn't cheap, but I got all the information that I needed to correct the problem and some very good advice. It was well worth the money to have Affordable Drain Service evaluate the line and clear the drain so it will work until I can dig up the pipe!

They knew what they were doing and did the job right. No problems.

I called them on Sunday morning at 6am and a technician came at 9:30 am and thanked me for using their service. He did everything very fast. It was a very good experience

My kichen sink was always very slow, so I contacted them. I called them on a Thursday afternoon and the service person came to do the job next morning. He was very nice and efficient. Unlike some other drain service companies trying to sell me some unnecessary services, he simply gave me an estimate and got the job done in half an hour. He ran 75 feet of cable and flushing the line. I have no more trouble with my kichen sink now.

My sewer line was an unusual shape.They had to try all three of the available size drills to cut through the roots in my line. They showed my husband the video so he could see what needed to be done. He says that they earned the money, because it took the full two hours to clear the line. The toilets flush perfectly now. we are very happy with this service. Anderson plumbing did a similar thing last year, but never found or cleared the roots.

They were great. Fast and on time. They showed me what they did and even alerted me to a coupon in their website. I would definitely recommend and would use them again.

Our drain was clogged on a Sunday morning. I called, got the price and the guys showed up about 45 minutes later. They were very professional, fast (about 40 minutes), cleaned up very well, and did a great job. We had to pay the Sunday price, during normal business hours they are cheaper. Thanks!

I called Affordable Drain Service, described the situation, and asked for an estimate which they provided after explaining that the price could vary when they looked at the problem. The workman arrived on time and was able to quickly cleared the obstruction, using the new clean-out I installed when replacing the drains. The whole episode took less than twenty minutes. At no point did I have the feeling that the workman was trying to sell me unnecessary services, which is a big problem with plumbing service providers in my experience.

I called three providers and this company is the one who did it!!! Even on the phone, they were very patient trying to figure out what the problem is in the pipes in the house. They went on a same-day appointment and did an excellent job!!! My husband said Kevin is great...he did the job exactly what the job entails with the camera and everything will be good for a year. I will use them again if the need arises. Their charges are also very affordable.

Was able to schedule a visit on the same day I called and the service person arrived on time. He was pleasant and professional. Identified the issue as a sewer flap that appeared to be off its hinge. Could not fix the problem as the fitting that covered the flap was unable to be removed. He did call an additional service person to assist but still was not able to get the fitting off.

The Tech explained what he was going to do and the possible causes of the clog. He taught me about the sewage drain pipe for my home and what I was responsible for and what the City's responsibility is.

Kevin came out and not only solved the problem of the day but the source of problems that have reoccurred for years. I've been paying for drain cleaning from the back of the house to the street for years. Because Kevin took the time time to listen and use his knowledge and genuine interest in resolving the bigger issue, I now know what my options are for fixing the problem for good. When we first spoke he told me when he anticipated being available to come to my house and then called when he was on his way and gave a 15 minute ETA. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, respectful and really went the extra mile to give me insight into the situation and how to resolve it from here and he made the time and money spent well worth every minute and penny. He represents the trade and the company he works for with integrity. I will call them and them only any day of the week. They turned a nightmare Sunday plumbing crisis into a affordable, manageable and pleasant event.

I chose this company based on reviews from others and they were not wrong. They were on time and professional (Alan C. was my tech.). I had 2 slow running drains and a washing machine backing up into my sink. Alan cleared the washing machine and the sink and attempted to clear the tub, but was unable due to the age of the tub/design of the overflow opening. Alan did not charge me for the time he worked on the tub since he could not clear it and only charge $118 for two drains! My plumber would have been a minimum of $175, probably more. I will definitely use them again.

They did everything right, showed up on time, acted professionally, got right on it and corrected the problems. Recommended also that they change and adjust the tank "innards" which I knew were gimpy, taking as much as 5 minutes to refill tank. Honored the 10% discount for seniors. Great, professional, polite, explained everything clearly, worked quickly and corrected the problems for what I think was a quite reasonable price.

Billy called to say he was on the way and arrived on time, 8:00 AM. He was very professional and went right to work, doing a great job. He suggested that I drill a couple of holes in the cleanout cap so the water would not backup into, and over, the sink. He also suggested that I rent a commercial dehumidifier so that mold wouldn't grow behind the walls. Would recommend this company to anyone.

Billy was very polite and professional. He made sure that he had a clear idea of what needed to be done. The drains on our patio have been overflowing for years when there is a big rain. We have had them cleaned several times, but the overflow was still occurring. We also have a very long drainage pipe which runs from the back of our back yard to the street in the front of the house. This pipe had clogged with dirt and debris several years ago and caused flooding in our backyard and pool (a big algae bloom as well!). We just want to keep it cleared as a preventative measure. Billy brought on additional help so the job would go more smoothly. He ran a line through the patio drains and found that there were roots at the very end of the pipe where it connects with the main line. These must have been there for years. He cleared the roots, and then flushed the large drainage pipe. It rained very hard today and for the first time since we have lived in this house (8 years), our patio did not overflow storm water into the pool. Thanks!

We called them and they came over as scheduled and jetted out the sewer line.

The woman who answered our call to Affordable Drain's local dispatch office was friendly and knowledgeable. Service technicians Jeffrey and Dylan arrived within an hour, quickly located a blockage in our lateral line near the city line tie-in, and promptly cleared the heavy root mass using a high-pressure water jet. A remote camera was used to view the line before and after hydro-jetting, and the depth of the blockage and its surface location out in our yard were noted.

We called Affordable Drain Service early Sunday morning. Our main sewer line was clogged and needed to be cleared from the clean out to the street. Until this was done, our toilets were out of commission. As such, we needed service right away. The dispatcher that answered the phone told me she would have a technician call us with an estimate. A short time later Kevin called me, thereby knocking two other competitors out of the running. I explained the situation and he gave me a time window along with an estimate. Another tech was going to respond. Unfortunately, the Tech that was supposed to come out got tied up at the first job. Kevin was nice enough to call me back before the time window expired and explain the situation. Plumbers never know what they are going to find until they actually start the job. I understand that these things happen, and I appreciate the excellent communication. I didn't have to sit and wonder like I've done with some companies. That was a big plus right out of the gate. He said that he would handle the call himself and be there within 30 mins. Sure enough, he showed up when he said he would. Kevin's attitude was exemplary through out the job. He was very polite and well mannered. His work was professional and thorough. To top it off, he brought the job in within the estimate. Of course, there were no real surprises that would run up the bill. This young man is a credit to his company. Because of his excellent attitude and communication skills, I will be recommending Affordable Drain Service to others and using them exclusively. Thanks again for the fine work.
