The work went very smoothly, they were in and out within 40 minutes, pleasing the neighbor below.

I was a new home owner and my kitchen sink would not drain. I called this company and someone was sent out in within the hour. The plumber recognized the problem immediately and fixed it. In all, it took about 15 min to complete the job.

Saturday evening and the bathroom shower backed up - led to the toilet doing the same. Called another company and was told they would be here within the hour. 30 minutes later they called and said they couldn't make it. Found Affordable Drain on AL and called. The technician, Kevin, was here within the hour and had the problem solved 30 minutes later. Kevin was very professional and knowledgable, not to mention fast and capable. We are very satisfied with the service and will call Affordable Drain first from now on.

Drains are clear and they have not reclogged yet.

They gave me a military discount. They showed up when they said they would and got the job done pretty quick. I haven't had any issues since. They were responsive and got back to me right away.

Our toilet clogged up last night and even with an auger, we weren't able to unclog it. This morning, I was able to get an appointment within a few hours of my call. Jamie Browning performed professionally and even advised us as to what to replace our aging commode with. My wife runs a day care and as you know, kids will put anything in the toilet. So, we might take Jamie's advise and get a replacement toilet.

Our kitchen sinks and utility sink had clogged to the point of overflowing. We called Affordable Drain Service Tuesday morning and they were able to send someone over in a few hours. The office manager told me up front that it would cost $88 to clear the drain. The technicians called before they came over and arrived right on time. They uncapped the cleanout in the driveway (which we had not been able to open) and used a mid-sized motorized auger to clean everything out. The drains were working again in about 20 minutes. I had downloaded a coupon from their website which offers new customers either a $10 discount or a free second drain (a $30 value). Our bathtub had been draining slowly as well, so we used the coupon and asked the techs to take a look. At first they snaked the drain, but couldn't seem to find any real clog. They then discovered that our tub drain switch would not stay down all the way and therefore wasn't allowed the water to drain properly. Using a screwdriver, they were able to make a few adjustments and get it back to good working order. We were very pleased with the results and felt that it was a good value.

I called Affordable Drain Service on Wed Sept 15, 2010 telling them my problem of my clogged bathroom sink and that I already tried to fix it myself but could not because the problem was in the wall. I took apart the piping under the sink and placed it there so they had direct access to the wall (and in reality, when I tried fixing the drain, I could not get the drain pipes to not leak somewhere and got totally frustrated with the whole job.) Affordable Drain Service booked me an appointment the next day with a window period of 9 - 11 am. I decided to call affordable drain around 10:15 am to see apx when the plumber would be at my house. The assistant on the phone realized whoever booked the appointment booked it for Friday, Sept 17th not Thursday Sept 16th 2010. She immediately located a plumber that was in my area already and had him come over as soon as he was done with his job. He made it within the window period at 11:00 am. I'm sure glad I called though. When Jamie and his assistant arrived, Jamie said it sounded like an $88 job and he kept it at that price. They had fixed the clog and put together the pipes under my sink in about 30 minutes. About 10 minutes after they left I went in to clean the bathroom fully and noticed about an inch of dirty water standing in my tub. I immediately called them back and they turned around and unclogged my bathroom tub fir free. The clog had moved from the sink over to the bathtub apparently but they fixed it for free without question or charge. Kudos to you Jamie at Affordable Drain Service, San Diego.

This time the camera inspection of my sewer lines (5 minutes) showed no root intrusion to my surprise as well as the technician's surprise. We both were fully expecting to have to hydro-jet the lines after the past two service experiences. Nick K, the technican, called his office, and they jointly decided not to charge me since the service call was only 5 minutes long. This is the third time I have used this company and the current experience only reinforces why I will use them again.

This is the second time Affordable Drain has successfully unplugged my drains. I would happily use them again.

I had left over rice and put it down the garbage disposal. Big mistake. The whole pipe system, from the kitchen to the sewer line in the street was clogged with congealed rice. They cut and replaced damaged pipes under the sink as well as cleaning the system all the way to the street. It took 2 different machines (regular, then the high power one) to get thru all the rice. They were conscientious and hard working, taking 3 hours to do the job. Would strongly recommend using them again. Also will not put rice down the garbage disposal again.

Called Affordable Drain Service after all the rains. Our patio drains drained very slowly. Affordable Drains had been out the previous year and cleaned out a large pipe /drainage duct in our back yard, as well as the patio drains. The technician that came out the previous year was helpful and thorough. He gave us the price before the work was done, and did a good job. This time NO o price was quoted before the work was done, and nothing was signed. The technician cleared out the patio drains, but I don't know how well it was done, as there have been no big rains since then. He used a very low amount of pressured water to test, which I felt was inadequate to determine how clear the drains were. When we received the bill, we were very surprised that the cost was $50.00 higher than the previous time, with much less work being done. We contacted the owner and told him that we were not happy about this, but he did not care. We won't use them again.

They were prompt and did a good job. The serviceman did an excellent job of communicating with me, including listening to what I had to say about the history of the problem. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

It was a difficult project because of the house design, but they did a great job

It went very well. The two service people who came out were very professional and cleaned up when they were done. I would definately use them again.

Very responsive, punctual and cleaned up after. They have a flat rate for the call with a lower rate for a second drain if needed.

My previous service provider didn?t know what they were doing. Affordable Drain Service was wonderful. They were experts who knew what to do. They came out and explained everything. They told me why my drain got clogged up and how to take care of it so that I wouldn?t have a problem again. They were very nice, very professional, and really did a good job. I have recommended them to other people.

The process went very well. I called on Wednesday and asked for a verbal estimate for sewer jetting which was reasonable. I later called back and asked for a verbal estimate for adding camera inspection before and after sewer jetting. That estimate was also very competitive so I scheduled the service for Friday starting at 2:00 PM. On Friday at about 1:45 PM, I received a call that they could not start until 2:30 PM which was the time Jeffrey arrived. He tried to perform the pre jetting inspection but his 1 inch diameter camera would not fit down the very corroded 2 inch cast iron line from the kitchen. We decided to perform the jetting without the pre jetting inspection and Jeffrey put a small diameter rotating nozzle on the sewer jetter and did the jetting. After jetting, the camera was used to inspect the line. The camera was still a tight fit in a couple of locations but the line was much clearer and now drains well. I was very pleased with the service and I highly recommend Jeffrey as a skilled and friendly representative for the company. In my phone contact when I scheduled the work, I was told that the job would likely take two hours. Exactly two hours after Jeffrey arrived, we were filling in the paperwork at the end of the job.

Abel showed up right on time. He was very professional. He snaked out the drain quickly and explained to me what was going on. My home is 50 years old and the builder did not include a clean-out at the property line, only a T that is buried. This made the job very difficult. He got it done anyway. Affordable gave me a 30 day guarantee. It plugged back up again a few days later(we think there was a blockage further down, in the city-owned part). I called Affordable and Abel came out again right on time. The city guy came out and let him know what is back there, and Abel managed to get in a few feet past the T to do a more thorough cleaning into the city part. The city guy talked his ear off, and Abel handled the whole service call very professionally. My drains are flowing again and I'm very happy.

I called in the morning and the plumber came the same day. He was on-time, very professional, offered me tips on preventing future problems and told me about possible causes and gave an estimate before he began. Things turned out as expected and he did a great job and cleaned up after he was finished.

We called them at 9:00 pm on a Friday and we were having dinner guests the next day, so they came out at 8:30 am Saturday morning and took care of everything. They were very professional. We really appreciated that we were able to contact them late in the evening. They were very quick and efficient.

Nick was very polite, professional, and punctual. He called to tell us exactly when he would be there. When he arrived he told us how long he thought it would take, and that it was 50/50 as to whether they would be able to clean out the drains(the drain pipes could be collapsed or broken, in which case he would not be able to fix). He worked with us on the back drain and was able to clear it. There was a lot of debris in the pipe. He then cleaned out the drains on our patio. Each job took about an hour.

We had a house full of guests for the holidays when the main drain became clogged on a Saturday, making 2 baths and 3 toilets stop up. We called 4 plumbers on Angie's List. The first three took messages and never called back. This company replied in 10 minutes and came out 20 minutes later. They gave us a firm estimate, which seemed very reasonable. The two plumbers who came out, Abel and Rafael, were professional, courteous and very thorough. We were pretty sure the problem was the main drain, but they spent some time testing things out in order to verify this. They then proceeded to snake out the main drain. They pulled a lot of stuff out, and I thought they were done. But they then re-inserted the snake again 3 more times, continuing until it came out clean. I was impressed at their thoroughness. The charge ended up being exactly what they'd said: $131 for the cleaning, $50 for Saturday overtime. Because some roots came out (in addition to other debris), we decided to spend an additional $50 to have roots cleaned out. I was expecting to spend much more and was very pleased. We'll definitely use this company again in the future.

My kitchen drain was clogged and just snaking for 25 feet didn't clear the pipe. I checked Angie's List and called Affordable Drain Service and was told someone would be by within a few hours. Daniel called and came over within an hour or so. He was very informative about what he was doing and why. He resolved the problem within an hour or so and cleaned up before he left. Excellent professionalism, attitude and presentation.
