Description of Work: It was Valentine's Day. We didn't have the use of either bathroom because of a clogged main drain on a Saturday. Nick was fast, efficient, and had the right equipment. He cleared the blockage, and then ran a camera down the line to make sure everything was okay. I'm so thankful that Nick was working on a weekend and cared about our getting the use of our bathrooms back. I will use this company again.

Description of Work: Put a camera down into the sewer line from roof vent. Found areas of root impaction. Jet watered the line. Improvised a new plug on old cast iron clean out opening in crawl space. Also put markers that show where and how deep sewer line run from house in yard for a possible 2nd BA hook up. Provided USB stick with camera work. Professional; resourceful; familiar with older homes.

 + -1 moreThe technician was very nice and was here for over an hour. We did have some spots on the wall, floor and shower curtain when he left but they were easy to clean. Also some scratches on the toilet that they are coming back to remove. I would definitely call them again and recommend to my friends.
Description of Work: The downstairs toilet was flushing very slowly so we had Affordable Drain Service come to clean out the drain. They give a two hour window of when they will arrive and call just before coming which is very nice. The technician came and ended up taking the toilet off so the router wouldn't break the toilet. That didn't seem to do the trick so he snaked the sewer outlet to the street and there were lots of roots that he removed with the auger. Flushing is much better now but still a bit slow.

He arrived on time, explained what he was about to do, then completed the work in less than 20 minutes. The invoice total was very reasonable and considering what other firms had quoted for the project, I was very pleased.

 + -1 moreJerry came to our house 4 hours after our call on a Saturday. I called his company to get a second opinion to clear the drain. Another plumber wanted to dig up part of the drain pipe and replace it to remove the blockage. The first plumber wanted to jackhammer part of our sidewalk and quoted $3500 to do the job! The first plumber was unable to remove the blockage with his cable. Jerry cleared the drain out in 10 minutes with his cable and charged us $142!
Description of Work: Cleared blockage in sewer drain. He ran a cable to clear out roots in the pipe.

 + -1 moreWE HAD THIS DRAIN CLEANED 4 WEEKS EARLIER AND I WOULD NOT USE THE PREVIOUS COMPANY. AFFORDABLE SENT OUT AN ENTHUSIASTIC YOUNG MAN, WHO JUMPED RIGHT IN AND DIAGNOSED THE LOCATION OF THE BLOCKAGE. HE DID THE NASTY WORK OF UNCLOGGING IT AND WAS SO CHEERFUL ABOUT HIS WORK.
