Alterations Only has been performing basic aeration service at my home for almost ten years. In May 2014 I arranged for them to perform more extensive lawn restoration work. After several phone calls and missed appointments they finally showed up but only performed a basic treatment. The company kept promising to come finish the job but never did. They agreed to send me a refund but never did, they then agreed to bring me a cash refund but never did. Now they won't answer my calls. Avoid this outfit at all costs.I suspect this was a con from the beginning, Alterations Only never intended to do the work, only take my money.

Everything went as planned.

We aerate every fall. They call us every fall to setup a date. They mark the sprinkler heads so they don't damage them. We've never had any problems.

On July 26, 2007 I contacted the company to explain my problem; I needed a chemical spraying to kill the weed "nut grass." The phone was then turned over to "John," who said he understood the problem and that the company did spray for that particular weed. We sat an appointment for the same day, after 3:00 PM. He never showed up, nor did anyone from the company call. In the meantime, I've found another company, who performed the work. I'm currently awaiting to hear from them as to whether they would like to be added to Angie's list.

I shopped around for the best price. They matched the best price I found. They showed up on time, did the work, and spread fertilizer afterward. The did a good job.

Sergio was originally a no-show on Friday, but did show up Monday and was able to give me the information I was hoping for - that my system did not need to be replaced, just repaired, and he could do the work.

Aerations Only rescheduled 4 times between 5/30 and 6/16! Each time I had to reschedule my work day to accomodate them. On 6/16 a fellow by the name of Sergio was supposed to aerate the lawn between 8 and 11 AM he never showed up! Even though Aerations Only said I did not have to be at home for the work to be done, I took the day off and was at home between 7 and 1pm because I wanted to talk to their sprinker ''specialist''. No show and no call. I finally called them and told them not to bother rescheduling.

THIS COMPANY IS PROFESSIONAL. THEY OFFER COURTESY REMINDERS FOR REGULAR AERATIONS FOR THE LAWN. THEY HAVE BEEN FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL, ARE ALWAYS PROMPT AND EFFICIENT.

THE STAFF IS ALWAYS COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL WHEN CALLING TO SCHEDULE THE AERATION. THERE IS NO PRESSURE. THEY LEAVE THE BILL IN THE MAILBOX. WE DON'T NEED TO BE HOME DURING THE SERVICE.

THEY HAVE HONORED THEIR PRICING FOR 3 YEARS NOW. OTHER COMPANIES CHARGE MORE FOR SAME SERVICE. THEY STAND BY THEIR WORK, AND IF ANYTHING IS UNSATISFACTORY (LIKE A BROKEN SPRINKLER HEAD) THEY ARE VERY WILLING TO FIX. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GOOD.

THE JOB WAS COMPLETED AT THE SPECIFIED TIME WITH PROFESSIONALISM AND COURTESY. THE WORKERS WERE AND EFFICIENT. FOLLOW UP CALLS TO CHECK FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION WERE REALLY APPRECIATED. IN ADDITION, THEY CONTACTED US TO REMIND US OF THE NEXT SCHEDULED SERVICE.
