Shop around and go elsewhere! He is OVERPRICED and the customer service was terrible. He charged $220 for the opener and $430 per hour for labor to install a belt driven opener! All garage pros know that belt driven openers are easier to install and maintain. Who do you know that makes $430 per hour? Not even doctors and lawyers. The same day I got THREE other quotes for $200-250 from three other reputable garage door companies to install the same exact unit. I even texted them a photo of the opener. $200 less for the labor. Brian texts his customers back when he wants to, shows up late. He even showed up without his tools and had to reschedule for the next day. He didn't even apologize about it and said "Why you're not busy tomorrow are you?" What kind of "Professional" shows up to an appointment that they themselves made without his tools? In all fairness his actual work quality isn't bad. We have used him a few times. He's just way overpriced and he lies to customers saying that his prices are standard. He said some people charge $1000. He thinks that we (His customers) are either stupid, rich or both. LOL. We have families to feed also. I really wish that I would have seen all the bad reviews and info about the lawsuit before hiring him.

Excellent. Brian answered our call right away, provided a range of cost for the job, came over the day we called and performed a quality job for the price he quoted. He was knowledgable and courteous and did an excellent job on the restoring the operation of our garage door. I would certainly hire him again and recommend his services highly.

Description of Work: Brain told me he would be the one to put the garage door in but he "accidently made an appointment for the same time and day my garage was suppose to be installed" so he subcontracted with a guy. We had lumber in our garage that didn't belong to us and he used it for the side because the garage door wasn't big enough for our garage. (which we were not told.) then when he put the garage door opener he had the cord going everywhere and used part of the old garage door which was damaged with termites to hang the opener on. Tried multiple times to get a hold of Brian when my mom finally got him he said that he would call me to come see the work but never called or showed. Very lousy customer service. I had people ask who did my garage and tell them I wouldn't recommend.

I am angry beyond belief. Brian installed a Liftmaster approximately 2 years ago on the single-car side of a three-car garage in the residence that I currently rent. I recently purchased a home that has a three-car garage and asked Brian to uninstall the opener in the rental home and install it on the single side of the new home and to install a new matching Liftmaster on the two-car side of the new garage. The installation two years ago was completed without any hiccups but this time Brian has failed miserably. He has been a total airhead and on several occasions promised to call within an hour or a day but never called. He left parts for the new garage installation at the rental residence (i.e. wall light, part of the wall mounted remote, etc.) promising he "would take care of it". He never did. He installed the older opener at the new residence on the single side of the garage and then installed the newer opener on the two-car side. It was only at that time he informed me that the technology has changed in the last two years so that the new opener cannot be synchronized to my two cars since they were pre-2009 (I think that is the year that he stated to me.) He indicated that I needed some kind of "translator" and that he would take care of it and get back to me to arrange a time that we could meet at the new house to install it. He never did call. He left the job unfinished to include not installing the wall light but instead left it sitting off to the side. He was also going to forget to install the outside keypad until I asked him about it. I have called him several times and he either "promises" me that he will get the needed part and get back to me so that we can arrange a time or he has just not answered his phone and does not return any voicemails. I have gotten to the point that I am feeling like a nag just to get the simple job finished. And that is not fair because I have a whole lot of other things that I need to do to prepare for the move to my new house instead of wasting my time on this simple project that should have been completed. It should also be noted that he indicated a price for parts and labor that I felt his labor price was more than fair so I added an additional $60. I guess it serves me right for trying to be fair.
