The woman in the office was difficult to speak with, it was hard to get a word in. She was also eating while we talked. After trying to talk to her, I didn't expect much. The guy that came out was really good compared to the others that our HOA had recommended. He was very nice and was not pushy at all. We ended up being very satisfied with the service, especially the plumber himself.
Description of Work: They came out to repair a toilet.

It went very well. He was professional, clean and what I expected from this company.
Description of Work: Leaky faucet. Plumber replaced ceramic valves in handles. Didn't take long but I did not know how to do it myself.

On first visit they denied that the water heater was leaking. Then I left town for 10 days and when I got back water was trickling out of my garage and water damage required $500 in repairs of platform and drywall (not covered). Installation of new WH was done with leaking fittings, required my callback. Condensate drain not routed to proper drainage (left dripping onto garage floor). Two years later I discovered another leak at the top of the unit (only visible if I was on a ladder) and improper grade of PVC pipe used in the exhaust vent pipe.
Description of Work: This was the company with phone number 619-593-9323. Service performed under American Home Shield home warranty on leaking water heater.

Our tankless hot water heater went out and we were required by our home warranty insurance company Fidelity National to use Accurate Plumbing. As soon as we were advised by Fidelity of this vendor's name, we looked them up in Angies' List and other consumer websites which all basically said the same thing: Accurate Plumbing is terrible. And indeed, this proved to be the case. The technician who diagnosed our problem on a Monday night at 8pm was polite enough and seemed knowledgeable. He informed us that he would submit his report and recommendation to Fidelity the next morning. He did not and didn't until forced to do so three days later. We kept calling Accurate Plumbing about the status of our job and they kept telling us they'd call us back; which they never did. Finally, after 5 days without hot water and hearing nothing from the plumber, we called Fidelity who informed us they never received the report. We immediately called the plumber who told us a supervisor was on the line with Fidelity giving them the report. This was not true, because when we called Fidelity back 90 minutes later, they said they hadn't received the report yet. I asked them to call Accurate while I was on hold and they did. When they finally came back to me, they said they had approved the work that Accurate proposed. At that point, I refused to have Accurate do the work simply because they had misled me too many times, I had no confidence they would do a good job. I made a formal complaint about Accurate to the supervisor at Fidelity at which point Fidelity offered to send me a check in the amount - minus the service fee - for what they would have paid Accurate to do the work. I will use Angies' List to find a good plumber to do the work. I strongly advise everyone - as do many reviewers here - to avoid Accurate Plumbing if you can.
Description of Work: Our home warranty insurer - Fidelity National - required us to use Accurate Plumbing. A technician came out 26 hours after our call to Fidelity to diagnose the problem and recommend a fix - replacement of bad tankless water heater. Eventually, after 5 days, and telling us otherwise, he submitted his report to Fidelity. We declined to have Accurate Plumbing do the install - they misled us repeatedly; were rude and didn't follow through on their commitments to us. Strongly advise everyone against using Accurate Plumbing.

Tech spoke and looked unprofessional, and miss-diagnosed the situation. Cost me the home warranty deductable and I ended up having to call my own plumber... I would never use them again. Check their other reviews especially on Yelp.
Description of Work: Through a home warranty call, the plumber came out to detect a leak. Spoke and looked unprofessional, and miss-diagnosed the situation.

Description of Work: Do Not use this firm at all cost. The technicians are incompetent and they do not keep the promises that they make. We had a leak in a empty rental unit. Unfortunately I could not use my regular plumber due to Advanced Plumbing being the one covered by my home warranty policy. From the very begining I made it very clear that I had tenats moving in on Tuesday of the following week. On a Friday the first technician arrived and spent a few minutes on site to diagnose the problem as a slab leak. I had to then wait 2 days for their leak detection technichian to further diagnose the problem. He performed his moisture measurements and came to the conclusion that the leak was not form the slab, but was due to a bad toilet ring and a main line blockage. He assured me that the original technician would be out on Monday to remedy the situation. I called at 1 PM on Monday and the office was completely confused and finally ended up telling me that they could not have a technichian out until Tuesday. I explained again that I had tenants moving in on Tuesday and and that I had made this clear from the very begining. each time they said they would have this remedied on monday. I then told the dispatcher how incompetent her company was; she responded that they did not want to send a technichian back out to my vacant property due to safety concerns with me? I was irate at the lack of professionalism and abibility to provide service, but to think that I would harm a technician was unbelievable. If your Home Warranty Provider attempts to get you to use this firm you can ask them to assign their secondary provider and thus save yourself having to deal with this nightmare of a firm. Further to my initial post I was contacted by a representative from this company, she was hysterical ranting and raving. I informed her that she should read the other post on Yelp and understand that 10 out 11 post had similar or worse experiences than mine. I then promptly reported them to the Better Business Bereau. If you have had or have a similar experience it is very important to report it to the Better Business Bereau to make sure proper actions are taken.

We used our home warranty company. The plumber came late and the pipes look terrible.I reviewed them before and got a nasty email from them asking me to stop slandering the company. (This was written so that is not the correct term used by them) After the email, I was afraid to leave the prior review, which was on a different website, so I removed it.

This company was sent by our home warranty company, AHS. I have never dealt with such incompetent people before. The plumber that came to check our water heater that was leaking gas, could not find the leak and left telling me everything was fine. I called SDGE because I did smell gas, SDGE came and found the leak right away - it came from a defective thermostat control valve. For one week nobody from the company picked up my phone calls nor did they return any. When I called after a week, my call was finally answered and I was told the replacement part was here and someone would come out the next morning to exchange it. After being an entire week without warm water, I have a one and a three-year-old at home, the same plumber came out (within the specified time - thank you!) and replaced the part. After about 40 minutes he was done, he didn't say a word but asked me to sign his paperwork. When I asked if the water heater was working now, he said 'I don't know, I just replaced the part you had told us SDGE found defective'. When I asked him if the gas leak was fixed, he responded again 'I don't know, I replaced the part'. I cannot express how unsatisfied I am with this company's 'service'.
Description of Work: My water heater was leaking gas due to a defective thermostat control valve and needed to be replaced.

I have a homeowner'sprotection plan and they sent someone out who did not know what he was doing. i called and asked Accurate if he was a regular employee as he did not have a shirt with a logo or company name, nor did his truck. they claimed he was an employee, but my gut tells me they send out "independent contractors" for these type (home protection plan) jobs. When he lied to me about fixing a problem, I kicked him out and called Accurate back. They said they had "had some complaints about him" from other customers. Why, then, would they continue to send him out? I now have it in my Home Protection Plan profile not to ever send anyone from Accurate Plumbing to my house again.
Description of Work: sewer stoppage: Accurate Plumbing contractor said there was not a cleanout valve so he would have to pull toilet. I first showed him the signs I had of a sewer slowdown (when shower or sink or washing machine ran, air would bubble up in the toilet). He claimed he fixed the problem, had his hand out for the money and I said, "shouldn't we run the sink and check the bubbling?" Well, of course the bubbles were still happening. Not only that, when I called a reputable company out the next day, they said 1. there was a clean out valve right outside my back door, easily found, and 2. he put the toilet back on incorrectly so I had to pay to have the new plumber come back and reseat the toilet correctly for me.
