Description of Work: Removal of main condenser coil, and replacement under warranty. Service included brazing, acid test, replenishment of refrigerant, addition of additional refrigerant, and disposal of faulty coil.

+ -1 moreThese guys are true professionals who will do everything they can to make you a satisfied customer. I had a leaking central A/C unit in my house that the original installers could not fix to save their own lives! The Accu Air technician came out and found the problem in just 15 minutes. He took another hour to verify there were no other issues, and came up with a reasonable solution and estimate. On the day of the job, the technician was prompt and courteous, and explained everything he was doing in plain English so I could understand the procedure. At the end of the job, he proved that the system was working perfectly and promised that it would stay that way for years to come. I am confident that they will do the same for you too. My previous posts were based entirely on a misunderstanding of how standard contractor billing is done, and I offer my most sincere apology to the owner for any undue duress. He was good enough to call me personally and talk me through everything, and even gave me a generous refund. This goes to show that Accu Air is experienced at their specialty, and are great with their customers. Have HVAC problems? Call Accu Air NOW! Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
Description of Work: Replacement of leaking Payne R-22 A/C condenser coil under warranty. Removed existing condenser coil and related debris, including removal of 9lbs R-22 refrigerant from leaking coil for later replenishment into new coil. Provided and installed replacement Payne condenser coil. Connected and brazed copper tubing, then drew vacuum on system of approx 750 microns and held for 15 minutes. Returned captured 9lbs R-22 to system, and added additional 9lbs virgin R-22 to restore to factory charge of 17.37lbs plus 1lbs 3 oz for lineset. Performed acid test to verify no acid in refrigerant. Verified subcool of 10F - system performed satisfactory.
