+ -1 moreI had a similar problem 6 months ago and that plumber was a nightmare - he was clueless. Scott was great. Since I work full time it's difficult arranging workers at my home - he was very flexible. He knew what was wrong even before he arrived at my home. He was prompt and efficient. He even showed me why I had this problem and why it would occur again. He even showed me how to fix it myself - not sure I'll be doing that (!) but I appreciated that he took extra time to show me what was going on and that it wasn't my fault. I think plumbers charge too much but I paid the same price 6 months ago for my and quot;nightmareand quot; plumber.
Description of Work: Unclogged main drain.

+ -1 moreVery well. The cost was the estimate. I called the evening before. He called the next morning and came soon after. He was extremely professional, and the company allowed me to defer payment.
Description of Work: It was very cold. One of my outdoor pipes blew open, spraying water everywhere. The plumber, Bryan Bocks, came the next day after I called to fix it.

+ 0 moreI have used Able Plumbing for several years. I have always been very satisfied with his work. He almost always comes out the same day and he is quick, efficient and does excellent work. His prices have always been very reasonable. However he raised his price this last time. I paid $75 to have my sink unplugged which I thought was way too much. He originally asked for $100 but came down on the price when I balked on paying that much. I really like this company and will continue to use him for bigger jobs, but I think I will have to learn to unplug my own drains. He may be charging the going price and I may just be a cheapskate, I don't know for sure. But I am on a fixed income and cannot afford $75 for a plugged drain. I gave him a "fair" rating on his price because I don't know for sure if I am the one being unreasonable as far as the price is concerned.
Description of Work: Bathroom sink was stopped up. He cleaned it out and got it draining again.
