9 1 1 Appliance Repair

I called to schedule service on a washing machine. I was told the technician would arrive between 4 and 6 p.m. the following day and would call me 20 minutes before arriving. I never received a call. I never received a visit. I never received a follow-up to explain why the appointment was not kept. That's the last time I will call this service.

Were prompt and professional. It was explained to me why and what needed to be done, which I appreciated. I would use 9-1-1 Appliance again. My refrigerator is working beautifully!

Abraham opened the control panel and instead of replacing the circuit board at a cost of hundreds of dollars as was done before by another firm, he carefully measured the power supply and determined that there was a problem: 108 volts from one of the sides to ground instead of 120 volts. He said that there was likely a ground lug that wasn't tightened somewhere in the circuit. I agreed to have an electrician have a look at the electrical panel before we paid to have a crew come out to remove the oven and check the connection behind it. This time we got lucky. It took less than five minutes for the electrician to determine that a ground lug was indeed loose, just as Abraham said. After the electrician tightened it the oven started working perfectly. Were it not for the methodical approach by the 911 Appliance Repair person we probably would have spent a bundle and the oven still wouldn't work. I am totally pleased.

The serviceman was wonderful. He was on time, and equipt with what he needed. Although he could have fixed the machine, he pointed out rust that would have only held up for a short time loner and I decided to have the machine replaced. I thank him for his honesty, and will use them for any future needs.

Abraham is always terrific. We have been using 911 for many years. What endeared them to us was his honesty. We had two appliances broken at the same time and I called his company to fix dryer and another company to fix the high end oven. After the repair, I mentioned the fact that the other repair company was going to order a new part at $300 for the fix. He took one look at the oven and asked me if I was using the self clean function before it stopped working. Yes. He reset an thermocouple behind a plate and the oven started working. No charge. Been loyal ever since.

Called the provider to analyze the problem with the refrigerator not cooling properly. The technician, Ron, was 25 minutes late and did not call to notify us of that. When he got there he said the he had the part in the truck that he needed to replace but he needed to wait until the ice inside the vent melted and he would come back in two days. He never called again and did not show up and we took off of work to accommodate the service call. I have now been without a refrigerator for three days with no response from Ron or the company nor an explanation. I have called and cancelled the workorder due to the company's negligence. I have lost all of the food in my refrigerator and am in danger of losing the contents of the freezer. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen!!

, On-time, professional and just plain nice. Initial visit evaluated the problem and needed to order parts not in stock. Appt set for late next day to allow for parts to come in. However, one part not in and another appt was set for the following week due to our schedule. They arrived a bit late but had called prior stating they would be. That was not a problem and the fact they called was a plus in today's service world. When they arrived the repair was done professionally and respectfully with sincere apologies for being late and not having the parts on the original repair date. I felt they knew what they were doing, how to treat the customer and how to make sure they had our future business ---- they do.

Excellent, the technicians took the time to explain their troubleshooting steps as well as their repair process. I have since let my service agreements with Sears expire and will definitely use 911 Appliance for any future repairs.

Repair quote was too costly, cheaper to replace. The service technician looked up the price of the part and with the cost of labor included, it was more than the cost of the washer.

I had a previous service provider who had started a repair of the washer and had not completed the task. I turned to Angie's List to find a competent company to complete the repair. I set an appointment for 911 Appliance Repair to complete the job after 3 weeks of frustration with the other company. My service technician called in advance as I had been told he would and he showed up on time. He explained that the control panel of the washer (for which the wires had been cut by the previous service provider) could not even be tested and it would not be appropriate to replace because it could not be tested. What was more troubling - if the control panel were installed and that was not the problem, he explained, it would require another part, costing more time and more money. While disappointing, his honesty was appreciated and professional. I was extremely thankful to actually have a technician tell me the truth, and not try to take my money. He even waived the service call fee. He actually apologized for what had happened with the other service technician and company because he felt badly for me. I will be using 911 appliance repair in the future if I need any repairs. Thank you 911 appliance repair!

They were quick to repair the washer. I called them on a Friday and they were out on Monday. They were very prompt to our appointment.

I am so glad we called them! The technician was prompt, courteous, and diagnosed and fixed our washer in under an hour. We would definitely call them again for any appliance repair needs and will recommend them to neighbors, friends and family.

I called 911 appliance. I did not have to wait on the phone to get talk to a human. I have a samsung dryer that needs to be fixed.They do not have any techs that can work on Samsung equipment, but refferred me to a POC where I got a list of certified samsung appliance techs. The call was fast and very friendly!!! I would give them first crack at any of my non-samsung appliances. Well done!

We first contacted Ameripro Services (which we do not recommend) and when their technician arrived he took out our working factory ice maker and replaced it with an inferior one, leaving the freezer still broken. 9-1-1 came in, explained what had happened, wrote up an estimate, and waited while we recovered the payment through our credit card service. Abraham returned and fixed the repair quickly and with no muss or fuss. They are trustworthy and worth the investment. We will definitely use them again.

Required replacement of fuse. Charge was for diagnostic.

The Repairman did not have the Water Pump with him as he had used one the previous day. He went and got another and within 20 minuets of returning, I have a fully functioning Clothes Washer! Total costs: $115.95 for the Pump. $110 Labor (plus $10.75 Tax of course) = $236.70.

They changed some parts in our oven/stove that was having issues with the lighter coils. The service overall was ok.

I made an appointment to have my Whirlpool gas dryer fixed as it was not heating. It would turn on and spin but it wouldn't get hot. They gave me an appointment time between 2pm and 4pm, which I had to leave work early to make, but I needed it fixed so I was ok with that. I was not ok when no one showed up or called during that time and then when I called to check at 4:15 and no one picked up the phone. I called again at 4:30 and they picked up and said they would check in with the repair man. After a brief hold I was told that he had been in a bad cell service area, which is why he wasn't able to call to let me know he was running late, but that he was on his way and would be there in 15 to 20 min. Ok- I was fine with that. I was not fine when it was another 40 min before he got there. Once he arrived, it only took a min for him to see what the problem was. He popped off the bottom front panel of the dryer and saw immediately that two little plugs were not attached. He attached them, turned the dryer on to make sure it worked and when it did he was done. He seemed very nice and professional, but I was charged $65 for what he did. No parts and less than 10 min of service cost $65!!! I don't know how they come up with their pricing, but I do not think it was worth what I paid (even with the 10% off for being an Angie's List member), especially after they were more than an hour late! I would not use them again.

He talked me out of fixing my LG dishwasher. Told me that they were the worst on the market.... blah blah. Would cost $300-500 to repair, but even then might not fix the problem. What he DIDN'T DO is check my dishwasher!!!!! (he did push a few buttons, but...) Turns out, my dishwasher was installed incorrectly. He should have picked that up, I'd say. Perhaps if he had, I would still be using my old dishwasher instead of having just paid $900 for a new one. The new install team told me about the incorrect installation of the old one. Sorry, but this is not my idea of a professional.

It went fine. The washer is working great. They were here when they said they were going to be here. I liked them.

The compressor went out on my Sub Zero freezer. The repairman was exactly on time for the appointment, plus they came out the day I called. He actually had the compressor with him that was needed. He repaired it quickly. I haven't had any other appliance repair issues, but if (more likely, when) I do, I will definitely call 911 Appliance Repair.
