Description of Work: He wasn't friendly when coming to my home and the estimate was much higher than the other company. Also he wasn't on time and that's after the company call to reschedule my appt.

Description of Work: Recently the ignitor in my oven went out, I needed to get someone to replace it asap. I had heard some horror stories from friends and family of appliance repair companies that did not do the work properly, didn't honor warranties, overcharging, rude and unprofessional and the list went on. Needless to say I was apprehensive about choosing the right repair company, so I went to Angie's List and found 9-1-1 APPLIANCE REPAIR. I called in the afternoon and a technician was sent to my home early evening as I requested. Their technician, Ray, was on time and very courteous. He diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. He also checked my dishwasher (FREE OF CHARGE!) to make sure it was running properly. He gave me some very helpful information on how to care for my dishwasher to maximize it's efficiency. Thank you 9-1-1 Appliance Repair and Ray for a job well done. I've already recommended your company to friends and I will certainly use you again.

Description of Work: Ron C., the tech, whom the company dispatched to my home was on time and professional in his duties. He was very thorough in examining my washing machine. He diagnosed the problem and concluded that it was not worth fixing the leaking bearings, which would cost an estimated $350 - $500. I appreciated his honesty and to top it off he only charged me $20 for the visit. Thanks 911 Applicance for sending me a competent and a sincere, one-of-a-kind, repairman.

Description of Work: Cost for the part was appropriate but I felt the $85 minmum charge was a bit high considering the amount of actual time expended. I realize the the intial service charge of the $39 is not charged but the $85 more than makes up for it. Fortunatley, I had a $15 online coupon that made it more reasonable. But then, that is all just a game, give a coupon out and charge more, Kind of like the grocery store game we all take part in.

Description of Work: I bought a special for labor and an additional $220 for parts to repair my dryer. I chose to purchase some parts as preventative maintenance. The appointment was made the day after I bought the special deal which surprised me. The staff were very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely call them again.

Description of Work: Oven door wouldn't close all the way or heat up; both problems were resolved. The icemaker on our fridge also quit working and a new part means we now have endless ice. Great workers with great attitudes. The owner Abraham was great too.

Description of Work: I called 9-1-1 Appliance Repair twice. The first time was to have my oven serviced and found out that it needed an igniter. Ray, the technician checked the oven and replaced the igniter. Now, it is working fine.The second call for to check my washing machine that had not worked for quite a few years. Abraham, the owner came and checked out my machine and the only repair was a burned out motor. He ordered the part, came back the next week and replaced the motor. In both cases, the technicians called ahead of time to let me know they were on their way, they were professional, knowledgeable about their work and very helpful in giving me pointers and advice. I recommend them very highly without reservation. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I called 9-1-1 Appliance through one of the Angie's List deals. They answered immediately and we set up an appointment the next day at my request. They were to arrive between 10:00 and 12:00 . They arrrived at 11:00. They found out that the belt on the drum was broken. They had one in the truck and replaced it quickly.I am one who asks a lot of questions as I try to understand the problem and the repair. Both young men were very patient with my questions and went out of thier way to be sure I understood. They also told me that my motor was aging and I did not need to replace it now but to be aware that it probably had about a year left until burn out. I appreciated the heads up without a push to "sell" me a new one right then. Overall I was pleased with the service and will use them again.

He had the part that he needed in his truck, and guarenteed his work. He was professional and personable. I will use this company any time I have a problem with an appliance.

Explained everything that they looked through--explained to me little maintenance I could perform to avoid further problems. Issues resolved and I'm extremely pleased. Description of Work: I responded to an Angie's Big Deal for a Laundry Room Service Package. The company clearly states they service San Diego County. When I called to set up my appointment, they said they did not service my area. Unacceptable.

Description of Work: House call to check on our dishwasher. We decided not to have it repaired and so we just paid the $19.95 service fee for the house call. Sure beats the $100+ I would have paid for a Sears Tech. Will definitely use this company again!

Description of Work: I was amazed that the owner came and charged only $19.95 for the evaluation of my washing machine problem. My washer was fine, it was a plumbing problem. He did not soak me for a invalid problem which I appreciated. His honesty won me over. I then had him look at another problem with my oven. He sent a man over the next day and the problem was resolved completely.

Description of Work: I contacted 9-1-1 originally cause my washer would not go to the spin cycle. My general contractor told me it was a water pump. The guys from 9-1-1 came out when I told them what the problem was they told me without examining it that it was probably a switch. They tested it and sure enough, it was only a switch. The guys were very experienced, CLEAN, and finished the job quickly. They honored the 10% coupon, I also told them that my dishwasher was leaking, they said they do not work on dishwasher but to call the office and they have an expert who is great at fixing dishwashers. I called the guy came out the next day. Keep in mind I had a plumbler come out and he told me it was my garage disposer that needed replacement that the water was backing up , causing the dishwasher to leak. This did not make sense. I had 9-1-1 come out. He arrived promptly was CLEAN. Took the door off and said it look like one of the hoses was just twisted and weren't flow the water correctly. He fixed it, only charged me the service charge of 19.95 and it was FIXED!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS.

Description of Work: My refrigerator/freezer broke down. I was panicked because so did my dishwaher, furnace and central air conditioner. I used Angie's List and chose 9-1-1 Repair. Called the shop, got an appointment, and the repair people showed up on time. Two guys took a look at the refrigerator/freezer and told me what could be wrong with it: one was a relatively cheap fix, and one wasn't. They worked for about 30-minutes, discovered the problem (it was the relatively cheap fix) and they fixed it. Cost me $209. Well worth it! These guys were polite, professional and funny. I am very happy with my experience with 9-1-1 Repair!
