9 1 1 Appliance Repair

I had to call twice and follow up. Then have to chase them for my receipt.

We were given a two-hour window from the time of our call for a representative to show up and assess our situation. Jesse called us when he was 20 minutes away. He arrived approximately one hour into the two-hour window. He assessed the situation with our refrigerator, told us how much it would cost, and completed the job. No complaints. Would hire them again.

The first technician, Jesse, installed the gasket incorrectly so a new one had to be reordered. The second visit about 10 days later, Jesse along with his boss, Abraham, finally arrived after first going to the wrong city. The installation of the new gasket was so poor, that I asked for a refund. 911 is one of the worse appliance companies I have ever worked with. It was a complete waste of my time.

I was there when he put it in and now I realize that I could have probably done it myself.

They did not do anything for me other than giving me the estimate. It was going to take too long to do the work. The quote they gave seemed to match the other quotes we received. They were prompt, and very upfront in how long it would take to get the part so I appreciated that.

That went successful. It was good. Price was good. It was fair. They are an A all the way through.

I called the company and they were professional and prompt. Jessie was at my door within a couple of hours that very afternoon. He confirmed that the plastic inside the dial was broken. He did not have the proper dial with him, but did have another dial that would work for the time being. He returned the next day with the proper dial and I was very pleased.

Although Ray was punctual and professional, in the end I did not have a good result. When I called to schedule appt., I was told the charge would be $39 which would be waived if I had them do the repair. Ray said I needed a part and Frigidaire no longer made that part. And he charged me $65. BTW, I called a different appliance repair service who came out and repaired the control board with no new parts. This company said if the oven needed the part, this repairman was sure he could still get it.

It was easy to make an appointment, and the office staff was professional. When Jesse, the repair man came to help, he did a good job identifying the problems, and showing me exactly what needed to be replaced. He had to order some part, and he made sure I got the best price for them. When he left, he left his cell phone number for me to contact in case there were any issues. Overall, I had a great experience with them. This was about 7 months ago. Now I find myself calling again, as my fridge is now not getting cold. So would I hire again, absolutely.

He was very nice and professional. He cleaned up after himself.

The technician came the same day I called. He replaced my old, mildewed washing machine gasket in my GE front-loading washing machine and the cruddy old air duct on my gas dryer with brand new parts, then reinstalled them (they had been pulled out for other reasons). The washing machine now looks brand new, and I feel much happier pulling the clean clothes out of it :) The entire job took about 90 minutes. The technician was polite and professional. I will definitely hire this company again.

Repair was done properly and was punctual and professional. I never received any discount as stated on Angie's List though. Repairman stated I would have to contact the company for a 10% off refund to my card and that the 10% was only off the labor only, which would have only been $12 ! Wasn't worth the hassle and was a bit deceiving I thought. Not sure on the pricing either, seemed a bit expensive to replace a shock absorber But the job was done and washer is working great.

Our refrigerator was making an odd noise and the front of the wall between freezer and refrigerator was warm. I called our usual appliance repair company, but we couldn't get an appointment until the following week. 9-1-1 Appliance sent Jesse out the next day and, of course, the noise had disappeared and the wall was no longer warm. Jesse verified that all was well and gave us some valuable information to prevent the problem from occurring again. I was very impressed with Jesse's knowledge about our particular refrigerator model and pleased that he took the time to give us such good preventative information. I will definitely use 9-1-1 the next time any of our appliances need service and will ask for Jesse.

After noticing the agitator in my washing machine not working, I called 911, and they scheduled an appt. for the same day. Eloy called to say he was on his way, and showed up on time. He has done work for me before, and he is always professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He diagnosed the problem, and fixed it, all in about 1/2 hour time. The only reason I gave a "B" to price was the labor ($120.00 for 1/2 hr. seems a little steep) but it sure beats buying a new washer. I have used 911 appliance many times, and they always do a great job. I definitely recommend them for any appliance maintenance needs.

Problem fixed. I thought we were going to need a new washing machine. Turns out we only needed a $25 part, which he helped order.

In speaking with Jesee, we decided that since the washer was not working either, we may have popped the circuit breaker at the house (which we discovered was the case). When Jesee plugged our dryer in and ran it. To our surprise, it worked, before anything was done to it. Then, he noticed a spark coming from the bottom of the dryer. He then got his tools to look further into the problem. In just mere minutes, he found the problem. One of the wires had broken off and was periodically touching the metal causing a short and scorching. He isolated the wire and gave us the option for him to fix it or my husband. Since he didn't have the part available, my husband said, he would like to do it. Jesee then showed my husband a few pointers to repair it properly. It was a very enlightening and pleasant experience. They gave me a two hour window for the technician to show, the same day I called for the repair. They also said he would call when he was on the way, which he did. I highly recommend their service.

Can't believe I got same day service so fast! Price seemed a little high, given that the part was replaced within 30 minutes. I did use the 10% Angie's List discount on the labor.

Not so good I had no other repairs and deal expired. Live and learn

Eloy was on time and immediately began an evaluation of my washer leak. He quickly found the problem and left to purchase the hose needed for the repair. He returned a half-hour later and installed the hose and the washer appears to work perfect now. The cost of the 10" hose was $27.95 and his labor for the 45 minute job was $110.

Well, my dishwasher is still broken. So, I'm going to say...not so well.

After emailing the vendor three times their response was apologetic each time with assurances that the repair person would contact us - - but they never did.

Jesse was very personable and knew the problem right away. He replaced the thermostat and fuse in the dryer. He was quick and efficient. He was also very easy to talk to.

Called to schedule appointment on 9/2/2015, was told technician would call between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. On 9/3/2015 at about 9:00 AM the technician called me, he was having trouble finding my address. his dispatcher had misspelled my street name. Technician arrived in about 15 minutes. Technician quickly troubleshot the problem and made necessary repairs. overall a very good experience.
