Description of Work: I contacted Derek about moving from an upstairs condo to a town house in the same city. I really liked the fact that Derek spoke with me directly - he reached out by phone and email, and was very responsive with any questions and concerns I had. Before contacting 1st Choice Movers, I had made appointments with a few larger moving companies, and it was a very different experience speaking with them. One person answers the phone, another one comes to your house (I had to wait days for that), and then they schedule you. With Derek, I described my house and sent some pictures, and felt confident with the information I received because I was speaking directly with the owner. Derek made a point of telling me about a special they were running for Angie's list customers, which I took advantage of. The morning of the move, Donte, Junior and David arrived right on time. They were friendly, helpful, and professional. I was impressed with the care they took with all of my items. They also made a point to ask me specific questions and give updates on how things were going and how much longer they expected the move to take. I would be happy to refer 1st Choice Movers to a friend and to use them again in the future.

Description of Work: I wholeheartedly recommend 1st choice movers. First of all, Derek was so patient and kind when my move was pushed back....4 times. Yes 4. He was responsive, and helpful, and really couldn't have been better. |My movers were wonderful, they handled my stairs to my condo with little complaint, were careful, and efficient.

Description of Work: Moved my whole house from one address to another. These fellas were fabulous. They handled all my furniture with great care. I have some antique pieces and they treated them as I would. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Hats off these guys.

Description of Work: I didn't know how Big Deals work, so I bought the deal before checking with the company about scheduling. Just a few minutes after I bought it online, the company called me, and the fellow was very nice, but it was rather short notice and they couldn't fit me in. He was helpful in telling me how to get a refund from Angie's List, though.
