REYNOLDS TERMITE CONTROL INC

My neighbor recently sold his residential house and they hired Reynold’s Termite Control to tent their house. After the first night of the pest control tenting of my neighbors house, I started tasting something in my mouth, numbness in my tongue, and my eyes started burning. It’s obvious the poison was leaking out of the tented house next to me and entering my house. I emailed and I called the Reynold’s termite control’s phone number and Mike Reynold’s direct phone number to have a representative come out and fix this issue. I also called the real estate agent about this issue who attempted to contact Mike Reynolds (owner of this company) too. Unfortunately, he too wasn’t able to get in contact with this company. I have a wife and kids who are being exposed to this pesticide; therefore, I’m extremely angry this company hasn’t contacted me within a timely manner. When you’re dealing with poison, this company should have a process for testing their work to make sure there aren’t any leaks outside the tented house. Additionally, this pest control company should have a 24/7 hotline and a process for addressing issues with their work. One of their company’s representatives should be on call 24/7 to address issues as stated above. It should NOT be a matter of “set it and forget it”, which is what I’m seeing. If poison is leaking out of the “enclosed tent”, that means outside air is coming in. If this is the case, how effective is the tenting of the house to kill the termites? I doubt the service being performed is effective, which is a different story. It comes down to a matter of pride of business ownership. This company doesn’t appear to have it and doesn’t care about the health of the community members and the environment in general. If it needs to be said, I don’t recommend this company.

We have been in this house 19 years this month, and I was actually familiar with his work before we even moved in here. That whole time, we have always been very satisfied. I've never met anybody that likes his job so much. He is really in the right profession, and he does a really nice job.

It was an excellent experience.

Robert arrived on time and was very courteous. I asked him to check an enclosed area which had been covered by a vent at the time of the inspection and when he noted termite trails, gave it a good squirt.. He offered to plug the interior drilling holes with cement, but since the hardwood will soon be stripped, told him it would not be necessary. All of the exterior holes were filled and leveled. He performed the work efficiently and left the premises clean.

As I said, very nice people, fair price, good work, good follow-up... can't ask for more.
