+ -1 moreI called on Thursday, and Jim came by promptly Friday morning planning to do the work. When he took a look at the setup, however, he realized that he needed some extra parts to complete the job, due to the proximity of the plastic plumbing piping to where he'd need to be soldering, so we rescheduled for Saturday morning. Jim showed up on time, and completed the job quickly (about two hours) and with no issues. He did his usual primo job, and left me with a nice new shiny plumbing setup that does everything I wanted it to do.
Description of Work: He replaced my corroded and cobbled-together assortment of outdoor plumbing branching off of the main water input for my house. This involved putting in a new pressure regulator near the ground to manage both the water coming into the house & that to the sprinkler system. (My sprinkler heads were wearing out too fast due to the previous water pressure, since only the house line had a pressure regulator before.) Separate swing valves were put on each branch above the regulator, so that the house water can be turned off without affecting the sprinklers, & the sprinklers can be shut off for maintenance. A separate branch (with its own swing valve) was put in for my fountain, and (finally) a faucet to supply water for a hose.

+ -1 moreI've used him for 20 years. He is great. It is a small company, and because he is small he can't always come immediately although he is very prompt to return calls. He is very professional when he does comes, very friendly, does a really great job and very good at chasing down leaks and such.
Description of Work: J D K Plumbing Company is my plumber. I had him come out and replace my water heater and did some faucets installation and repairs for me.

+ -1 moreJDK Plumbing was recommended to me years ago by someone at work, and I've used them ever since. Jim's always done a great job for me. Over the years, he's replaced all manner of faucets, water lines, and shutoff valves, and re-seated a leaky toilet for me. On several occasions, he's told me when I *don't* need to have things done, as well! On the above occasion, I'd just moved and discovered that the washing machine coldwater valve didn't let water thru, no matter what position it was in. I seriously needed to do laundry, and so put in an emergency call to JDK. Jim promptly called back and made an appointment for the following day, when he did his usual sterling work.
Description of Work: Replace washing machine cold water shutoff valve.
