Terrible. I had to hire an electrician to fix what Four Star plumbing messed up.

They came out promptly and fix the leak. The pricing was always reasonable and they were very punctual.

It went great and he left the old parts in case some parts that I will use later. They could also help my tenants for their repairs. An they charged me fairly and same as the estimates.

Office helped to find that the existing water heater was under warranty, and answered all questions...very friendly, helpful, and not all pushy!! Every contact with Four Star was professional. In order to get to the water heater it was necessary to detach part of a work bench. No problem ... and when the technician replaced the bench at the end of the day, I was more than impressed at the preciseness of the replacement. Four Star may be on the high end of pricing, but was certainly worth it for me.

I have used 4Star Plumbing for years. They do excellent work at a fair price. They are courteous, knowledgeable, and honest and I have recommended them to my neighbors who have been equally satisfied.

FourStar Plumbing, San Juan Capistrano, is very inept, unfair, and argumentive. My disasterous experience dates back, but all the time I have felt guilty for not revealing this to the public sooner. I had a simple faucet leak at a rental about 40 miles away. I have repaired many of these myself, but called FourStar for convenience. Their first visit was 5-3-13, and the invoice reads ?disasemble cold side and re-installed?. I phoned for an explanation, they said they cleaned it. $125. Total $350 for nothing. Why did their plumber only clean the cold side? Their second visit was to rework it on 9-4-13 because it started to leak again. This time, he replaced both the cold and hot cartridges, and charged me again, without giving me credit for the first visit. $225 But their plumber (they call them technicians) made the mistake this time of leaving the old cartridges. They were old style with rubber washers, which were so worn that they were literally falling apart! These cost about 5 cents each. If he truly removed only the cold one on his first visit, he would have installed a new washer on both sides. It still leaked, so I called another plumber, who quickly solved the problem. FourStar then gave me news: I should have called them back (a third time - would you?) and they would have given me credit for the previous charge. If that were true, they would have given me credit on their second visit for the 1st visit. So for the convenience of avoiding making one 80-mile round trip to repair it myself, I had an ordeal with much extra time, expense, and two 80-mile trips.

Two plumbers came. They were polite and efficient. The girl I scheduled with quoted the approximate cost (right on) and let me know when I needed to leave work in Irvine to meet the plumbers at my home in San Juan.

The work and installation was of the highest standards. All materials used were of high quality. The plumbers, office staff, estimates, arrival and completion times, knowledge, appearance, communication were all outstanding. All old replacement items were removed from homeowners property. All surfaces were swept, vacuumed and hand wiped. Total price was very reasonable. I have been a home owner for 50 years and this has been the best experience with a plumbing contractor.

Went really well. The guys showed up at the appointed time, put down a protective floor covering, removed and hauled away the old cast iron sink, disposer and faucet, and installed all new items:Kohler stainless steel sink, Delta faucet and Insinkerator plus new plumbing stops and supply lines and air gap. I had been told it would take approx. 3 hours and they were finished in 3 hours and 10 minutes. Tested everything for leaks including the dishwasher connection and cleaned up after themselves. I was very impressed. Nice people and very pleasant to work with. Would definitely use Four Star Plumbing again. I had obtained 2 other estimates for the work, and Four Star's price was the best.

Installation went very well. In fact, the installer went beyond simply replacing the tank. The installer actually made sure that if the tank leaks again it will not leak into the house. I can recommend Four Star Plumbing without reservations and will use them in the future.

These faucets were hard to get at. They did an excellent job. They were very prompt. They were very clean, and presented themselves very well. They were very knowledgeable and left the area very clean.

Service was performed by two teams of two men: one team for the leak diagnostic, and another for the repair. I think the switch-up was simply due to scheduling. The diagnostic was effective and efficient. The lead plumber explained what he was doing, and answered all my dumb questions very patiently. The diagnostic required several holes in the walls, and they were temporarily patched overnight, prior to the repair (to prevent critters from getting into the walls). The repair went faster and more smoothly than I expected. They offered to recommend drywallers for the wall repair (this was out-of-scope for the plumbing work, which was explained up front, and on the quote paperwork), but I called my own guy. During the diagnostic, the plumbers noticed that our outside water valve was configured badly because some decorative exterior wall work had been built up around it, making it impossible for the valve handle to be turned to the closed position. They also pointed out corrosion on the valve. They replaced the corroded valve and turned it so that it could be turned on and off without interference from the decorative stone. They also commented that the water pressure into the house was set too high, and adjusted it appropriately. Overall, I appreciated the high quality work in the diagnostic and the repair, as well as the extra vigilance re: the outside valve and water pressure. All four plumbers were very professional, personable and patient, and they all appeared to be very skilled. My level of trust went up with every explanation they provided and question they answered. Also, the gentleman who answers the office phone is very nice/has great customer service skills, and is great to work with re: scheduling. Scheduling was easy -- they were responsive to the fact that the leak was significant, and both teams of plumbers showed up on time. I rated Four Star Plumbing with an "A" on everything except price, which I rated "B" because it was a big chunk of cash for me. I would hire Four Star Plumbing again, and in fact have done so for an unrelated plumbing problem.

They were on time. Professional and nice. Price was reasonable. I have used him for at least 10 years. They always call before they come and call back to make sure I am happy.

Josh took my call. He listened carefully to my requested work and was very helpful in translating it into what they actually would recommend. Scheduling was painless. Rob and Lou (sp?) came out to do the work. They were clean, professional, and good communicators. Work was done exactly as described. Price was right in line with the ballpark stated over the phone by Josh. They were great about providing advice on what is needed sooner rather than later and what the options are. This was very helpful since this was mainly a detailed inspection of a home I am considering purchasing. For work recommended but not completed they took my email address and said they will send estimates within 1-2 days. I am very satisfied and would use them again. I love being able to find someone trust worthy locally. They also do gas lines so I will consider them for that as well.

They sent someone out the very next day after I called, and they are always quick to help. They do great work, and the price is reasonable. They are very reliable!

I have used Four star several times before. They always respond in a tiely manner and do excellent work. They even came one Sunday evening to help a frantic tenent deal witha water heater leak. Then came back the next day to replace the water heater.
