Description of Work: Installed 4 recessed lights and added 2 outlets. He informed me during the estimate it would take about 3 hrs at $80 per hr for a total of $240 and I agreed. He arrived the following day at 11am and was greeted by my dad who was also working at the house. Long story short he didn't finish till after 5pm and had the audacity to try and charge around $550. We had to have him leave and not even clean up because it was taking so long. There is no way a good electrician would need more than 3-4 hrs to finish this job. I had a previous electrician finish 4 recessed lights in 2hrs. He screwed up installing a basic outlet 3 times and included that in his hourly rate. My father was a contractor for 35 years and when he gave some one an estimate that's what he charged. This guy would have stayed for 10 hrs at $80 an hr if we didn't have him leave. Bottom line he took advantage of me next time I'm going to get a flat rate for a particular service.

Description of Work: Darrow came over recommended from SC Pool & Spa Works. The company had to install some electrical equipment for my Spa to run correctly. The work they did was great, they had to dig up the yard, and go through the attic to have the electrical work completed, could have went underground which would have cost me a lot more. They were prompt, professional and very nice. Yes, I would recommend Darrow's Electric to anyone who is looking for quality, reasonable price, and professional electrical issues, problems to be resolved. .
