Description of Work: DO NOT use RDS Plumbing!!!! They came out and did $1,624 worth of work (which was already overpriced) then they charged me twice for the same service. I didn't notice it until it was too late to dispute it with the credit card. When I reached out to Don, he promised me he'd pay me back but proceeded to send me a $1,675 check that bounced and the stopped taking my calls or answering my texts. He owes me $1,675 and knows it and won't pay me back. My only path to collection is to sue him.

+ -1 moreBecause I was stuck in a lurch late on a Friday after being flaked on by another plumber, I was braced to pay for afterhours / overtime fees But even though I was calling around 5p, RDS still said they would charge me their normal flat rate for drain clearing. I later confirmed with the guys that did the job that that was "just how we do it". I had to wait a couple of hours while they finished up their scheduled appointments for the day (no big deal, there), and they gave me a heads-up phone call when they were a half-hour away. Two guys rolled up in a nice van outfitted with all their tools, etc. They were super nice and polite and got straight to work. They fought with the drain from the sink end for about a half hour to no avail (it's some janky pseudo-industrial plumbing with unusually tight bends that didn't want to cooperate with the unclogger) and ended up having to disconnect the vent stack and drop the router in from above. Got the drain cleared easily from there and the water flowed again! They provided a written 6 month warranty on the drain staying clear, as well!
Description of Work: Had a totally clogged utility/slop sink in my little hot rod shop. The backed up water had been standing for a day and had begun to leak from the trap and we needed a plumber fairly urgently.
