MJ NEWELL LANDSCAPE & MAINTENANCE

August 26th, I met with Augustine at the sight to go over what would be done for the initial cleanup and to discuss the routine maintenance. When the initial work was done, on Sept. 5th, I again met Augustine at the sight to go over problems with the cleanup work and paid him the agreed-upon $200. With him and then Shannon in their office we discussed the monthly services, charges and billing. We agreed on their coming two times a month for yard maintenance and every quarter for weed control/fertilizer treatment, coordinating the two services, all to start right away. As far as I knew, we were all set. It was apparently shortly after my departure on Sept. 17 for 16 days that Shannon left a message on my home phone and cell phone saying they would not be servicing my property. So the property received no attention for well over a month. The tenant, who had been maintaining the yard, was waiting for the service to commence and left a message of concern on my home phone. I did not receive those messages until after my return on October 2nd.

They removed things that I did not want removed and left things I wanted removed. There was communication gap between us. There is a tall Eugenia hedge. They cut it back and didn't cut all the way back on the top. They left one worker without the proper equipment to finish the job. I have been intending to contact the company and see if they would make this situation right. If they do I would certainly edit this report.
