The rug did not come as clean as I had hoped, but it was not their fault. The couch and chair looked great.

Very well done. Dave was on time, and I'm very happy with the results. He was able to get out the spots on the carpet. I also appreciated that he was able to start early (7:30 am) allowing me to get to work afterwards.

After the previous renters moved out, they left the carpet in horrible shape. Stains from people and dogs, as well as dog hair in corners of the rooms. It was a carpet you wouldn't want to walk on barefoot. Dave found an opening for me as quickly as he could and arrived promptly when he said he would. Because I couldn't be there, he kept me informed by phone. My daughter-in-law supervised, and said the carpet looked great. But I didn't believe it could look that good, until I saw it myself. Dave was successful in removing all the spots and stains. The carpet looks great, and most importantly is clean! I will definitely use Dave again in the future, and will be telling everyone I know about him. Also, he is honest, and fair priced.

Dave was awesome. Showed up on time. Pretreated the carpet and then cleaned it. The carpet looks new again and after having a dog around for two years you would never know. Dave is a great guy and I would highly recommend him.

It was great. He's very good. I've recommended him to my granddaughter who used him and he was fine. He cleaned thinghs I quite couldn't touch. Responsiveness is great. He gave me an estimate and I asked him when he can do it and he says how about now.

Our children had left silly putty on the carpet and we had tried everything to get it out. We thought we would have to buy a new carpet for that room because we could not imagine that anyone would be able to get it out. Well, Dave did get it out and our carpets look like new. Dave is the owner of the business and did the carpet cleaning himself. He made the whole process very easy. We are thrilled with the service he provided. We will definitely be using him in the future for all our carpet cleaning needs.

Dave's top-notch work saved us the cost of a new carpet for another year or two. Tenant had given it quite a workout, and we were ready to replace it but new tenants said to give cleaning a try and they would decide from there if it was acceptable. The were very happy with the results. Dave did an amazing job. The stairwells had all sorts of stains from a move-in and looked new when he had finished. I had used his service before and loved the results. However, my husband had a friend who needed work and gave him our business to help him out. I insisted that we really needed Dave to do this job and the results were nothing short of amazing.

Overall service from Dave Mattea was excellent. Arrived on time gave us a fair quote and proceeded to clean the carpets. He worked very hard to remove some stubborn stains. Dave is fast, professional and friendly. He took the time to make sure each area was as dry as possible before moving on. Not only was the carpet really clean, but it dried quickly.

No muss, no fuss! He arrived on time, after calling to let me know he was on his way. He moved, cleaned under, and replaced all large furniture pieces, placing protective pads under the feet. He cleaned quickly and thoroughly, despite problems with some balky equipment, and left my house looking MUCH better than it did when he arrived. Dave was able to reschedule our appointment with one day's notice because we weren't quite ready for him. My carpet was very dirty, in two high-traffic areas in particular, and Dave was able to get everything clean so that it met my landlord's expectation. It went very smoothly and Dave was in and out in an hour. I was so pleased I gave him a $20 tip. I would absolutely use Dave's services in the future.

I got them from Angie's List. After I looked them up, we actually didn’t schedule until three weeks later. After he came and looked at my house, he had to add an extra $20. It was more than what we talked over the phone. Initially, he told me $180 or $190. Then when he was finished, he said that is a little bit bigger and that he had to do something extra. So it was $210 or something like that when he was done; I can't remember. He was very professional and did an awesome job on the carpet. The last time we had the carpet cleaned was when we moved into the house. We were not there. We had the guy clean the whole house. The house actually had a day to dry by itself before we walked in. The carpet was still wet. It was wet for several days after. I expected it to be that way too. I thought that the carpet is going to be wet. But he actually did such a good job with it that it was dried within not even a full day; maybe within a few hours or half the day. Most of the places were dry and really clean. I don’t know how he does his cleaning, but he has really good equipment that sucks all the water. He did a really thorough job. It is very clean and dry. We don’t walk around getting the carpet dirty because it's wet. So far, everybody I've tried from Angie's List has been really great. It was a good, fair price. I called two or three other places; this is a reasonable price compared to everybody else. It was within the ballpark; some were a little bit lower. His was a little lower than some people. With regard to responsiveness, it was me; I am busy. I would absolutely use them again in the future. If I need to do it again, I will call him.

Dave, the owner, called the day before to confirm appt. which was nice. Dave arrived on time, was courteous and professional. He used a very hot steam process which cleaned carpet very well making it look like new while leaving the carpet feeling damp vs. wet. Carpet dried in less than 24 hours on a damp and gloomy day. Would definitely use and recommend his services.

I found him through Angie’s List. I talked to him on the phone and I told him roughly how big the house was which needed to be cleaned and then gave me a quote. He later came here and measured; his measurement was slightly a little more that what he quoted but he said he will honor what he had quoted for me. That was good. He did a good job with the carpet cleaning.

Dave Mattea has done a wonderful job. We have open houses 7, 8 and 9 June, and had our carpets cleaned on 3 June but they made what can only be described as a poor job. Dave very kindly fitted us into his schedule as we were up against the clock, and the carpets are now spotless.

I had a carpet cleaning company clean my carpets about 5 years ago. They said the stains in the carpet would not come out. I took their word for it and did no further cleaning. I wanted to have them cleaned again in 2012 and I called Dave Mattea. He did a fantastic job! The old stains came out and the carpets look much better than when I had them cleaned by the other service. Dave was a pleasure to work with.

We solicited three bids from cleaners on Angie's List. Dave's bid was by far the lowest. He was prompt and called a half hour before he was due to arrive. He was professional and did excellent work.

I have written about Dave before, but will do so again, since you keep asking. My experience with Dave was excellent and very professional. The job that I asked him to do, I thought, might be a lost cause. I wanted him to tell me if he thought he could get the carpet clean in our rental, or did he think I needed to bite the bullet and get new? Dave assured me he could get it clean ( I had my doubts!) so we made another appt. for him to come back and do the job. He came on the prescribed day and on time. When he was done, I couldn't believe my eyes!! The carpet looked new! He had done everything he told me he would and more-gave me a senior discount! I am a realtor and you can bet when I have a client that needs a carpet cleaner, I always recommend Dave and will use his services again, myself, when I have the need.

Dave was terrific! Arrived as scheduled, presented a very professional estimate, and did an outstanding job. He cleaned the carpets throughout our home and the chair, as requested. Dave is polite, professional, and punctual. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He lives locally (Sonoma County) and works all over the Bay Area.

The job went really well. I called to set up the appointment, and after the initial phone conversation I had with Dave, I was confident that he was the person I wanted to do the work. He arrived on time, He listened to my concerns and was able to let me know before he started exactly what he was going to do and what I could expect. He kept me involved throughout the process to be sure I was happy with how things were going. Dave is professional, friendly and was very careful of furnishings and floors as he worked. Overall a good experience, I would use again. The family room carpet is heavily traveled and with 3 kids, the carpet, sofa and loveseat had some serious stain issues. Dave did a very, very thorough job of cleaning. He spent a great deal of time making sure he got out each spot. End result was - it looks fantastic! I was very pleased with the results, and would use him again on the whole house. Only downside was the length of time to dry. Dave mentioned it should all be dried in 2 -3 hours. He left in the early morning, and we returned home late at night, at about 9pm. Everything was still damp! Even the next morning, most of the sofa and loveseat were dry but there were still some damp spots. The carpet was slightly damp to the touch but not bad. Again, overall the quality of the job was very high; if I have enough time to let it dry I would definitely use him again.
