He was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. After our phone call I had a clear idea of what my next steps should be.

Adam seemed like a nice guy and I might have had a decent experience with him if he hadn't recommended bringing Jim Thompson of Jet Engineering along for the structural engineering part. He said they had worked well together on other projects, so it sounded like a good idea. It was actually a horrible idea, as Jim Thompson was flakey about appointments and then took important papers of mine and refused to even return my emails or phone calls (for the last 18 months), much less return the papers. This meant I never got an estimate from either the engineer or from Adam. I think Adam is a poor judge of character and I wouldn't trust him to recommend anyone for any kind of job at all. Since most construction work involves teams of workers, this is a big problem.

I am the reviewer that gave them a bad review. Adam was able to respond quickly after the review. The contract with his company was to bolt the foundation to the house and replace the cellar door. He arrived promptly and began to test the foundation. It turned out that our foundation is too "crumbly". His honest assessment, which I appreciated, was that the bolting would not secure our house to the foundation. He did not feel right about doing that work if in case of an earthquake the bolts would not keep the house in place. He replaced the cellar door. and hauled the old one. I was satisfied with his work.

I contacted Adam after reading his good reviews here. I contacted him by phone twice. After the second voice message, he returned my call and we set up an appointment. I took time off my work to meet him at my house and he did not show up. I left him another voice message and he agreed to meet me at my house two days later. This time he showed up on time. Adam was professional and friendly. He told me that he would send me a quote that night. After inquiring about it, he emailed a reasonable quote. I responded right away and told him that we wanted to hire him for the job. I asked him if he could begin the job two weeks later and did not hear from him again. I would rather he told me that he couldn't do the job from the beginning. I wasted my time and still haven't heard from him.

We opted to not have the work done.

We are continuing to watch the cracks and settling in the house. No construction yet.

He and his team did a great job, were on time, communicative as to what they were doing, tried to keep the dust controlled and in general were a pleasure to work with. We'd hire them again without hesitation!

Adam and his team we’re great. Adam offered us several different way’s we could approach our foundation problems. Rather than spending a million dollars up front he gave us what was important that needed or should happen now and things that were still important but that could be done later. We like that. We had the money to do Something! Just not the money to do Everything at once. Rather than the All or nothing approached Adam worked with us. We look forward to working with him again in the Spring. His team was on time and quick. They got in and got out. Thanks Adam!

Adam was great. He came out to the house and looked at the foundation work we needed done. His estimate was much lower than some engineers who looked at it. When he came out to do the work, he found some other issues that needed fixing. He didn't charge us any extra even though there was a fair amount of extra work. He and his crew were able to finish everything in one day and did a great job. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone!

The contractor showed up on time for all appointments during the bidding process. The bids were a day or two later than promised and not as thoroughly detailed as those received from others. This coupled with the 20% premium led me to use another contractor.

Adam, was very responsive from the scheduling a quote to answering all of my questions. His follow throughout was strong. He showed up on time for the free quote and for making repairs. They finished on time and I couldn't even tell they had been here except for the great outcome. There were no surprises in the work or the quote. Adam also did something very rare in today's world. He thanked me for giving him the work. I would absolutely work with him again and recommend him to others. In fact I already have.

Adam from AJ Peet Construction did a great job. I was able to talk to him about what I wanted done. He had very good ideas about how to get the job done. His prices were reasonable. I was just happy with him all around.

My overall experience with this company was perfect. He was very professional and timely. He did what he said he was going to do and was easy to work with on changes as he was very flexible. He was very fair.
