I wish I would have had him over as there were things that were difficult to explain over the phone (not being too tech savvy). I'm sure he would've came over had I asked but just didn't get around to it after working with him a couple of time via phone.

I had contacted to achieve this transfer. I cannot recommend Netgeex highly enough! Larry saved me an enormous amount of work by achieving this transfer.

+ -1 moreLarry was very punctual and courteous. He had contacted me by email and we arranged on a mutually convenient time. He went right to work and diagnosed and solved many security problems on mu home's four computers. The computers were set up correctly by Larry so they all had the necessary security protection from viruses, malware, and adware. He also found what was hogging up a ton of space on two computers and cleaned them up so the computers are running a lot smoother. Iwill definitely use him again!
Description of Work: Larry provided two hours of services diagnosing and fixing various malware, adware and security problems throughout my home.

+ -1 moreMy girlfriend used it, and I think she liked it. I purchased the big deal for her. They did not come out. They logged into her computer remotely for what he did. It came out okay, and I think she is having issues again, but it seemed to help. I do not thing there were additional charges unless she used them again. I think he was pretty good. I paid for it, and it did not seem that much with the big deal so that was good. I think she did set-up a time, and I think they made that time. She said she would use them again. She was thinking of calling them again.

+ -1 moreOverall everything was fine. I first contacted Netgeek based on previous review. Even though I expected Netgeex to come to my home we did everything via remote connection and phone. I told Netgeex the problem what I had done and that my PC was running slow. Larry checked my pc and performed maintenance and reviewed what I had on my computer. One of his recommendations was to just buy a new computer. Larry was very easy to talk with and I felt no pressure. I would recommend him to anyone.

Larry went far above and beyond the terms of the coupon in rendering service, at no additional charge (which I would have paid based on his time and quality of service. As I recall, the coupon was more geared towards remote diagnostics and repair, subject to the 2 hours. Rather than simply adhering to that, he made trips to both pickup and redeliver laptop, spent numerous hours on it and explained what he had found and done thoroughly.
Description of Work: Larry Rekow (Netgeex) provided exceptional service. I initially purchased a coupon for 2 hours @$69 (a GREAT deal) via Angie's List for 2 hours of remote computer diagnostics/repair. Larry contacted me the same day. I had a laptop that had critical info on it (years worth) that had not been functioning properly for months. After spending time via remote access, Larry offered to pick up the laptop on his way to another job and spend some more time on it. I purchased an additional coupon for another 2 hours before the deal ended. he actually spent much more time than I'd paid for for diagnosing problems and getting laptop up and running well. One issue that made things more difficult was that I had loaded that laptop with multiple security products and layers of security, virtually locking it down. He dropped the laptop back at my home and explained what he had done and made recommendations for avoiding future problems. I'd use him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him (Netgeex)!

Description of Work: Larry Rekow with Netgeex, responded quickly to my e-mails and voice mails. There were a few items needing tech support that he was able to correct. Some, he was able to do remotely, but some such as replacing the router and purchasing items I needed for my computers to work efficiently required him to come to the house. I highly recommend Netgeex. They are prompt, professional, and reliable. I have recommended Netgeex to my friends and family.

+ -1 moreWhen the technician came he first assessed the problem. He tried several times to have our computer fail at a task so he could see what was wrong. He cleaned up old "cookies" and temporary files. He worled on the printing problem for some time but was unable to fix the problem. He did offer suggestions that might solve the problem, but the scope of my problem was too difficult to correct in the time alotted. Though we did get a tune-up, we didn't solve the printing problems we were having.
Description of Work: We have been having computer problems for quite awhile. We hired a technician to come to our home to fix printing problems, Explorer problems, and general cleanup when we saw a special offer on Angie's List. We use the $69 computer special offer they were having at the time.

+ -1 moreMr. Rekow arrived at the appointed time and in one hour had the old machine humming like new having successfully removing a lot of unused software.He also reminded me as he left that I had contracted for two hours of his time and he still owed me one hour. The whole experience was exactly as I expected and I would certainly contact him again should computer troubles arise. Thanks Angie's List for a first-rate service.
Description of Work: When I booted up the computer kept trying to install a program of which I had no idea what it might be. I can't get any more technical than that since I am very limited in computer knowledge.
