Wow! Javier and his crew were amazing. I'm very particular when it comes to work being done on my house and these guys exceeded my expectations. They we showed up on time and finished when they said they would. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves as if it were their own home. I had them install wood flooring in all of my downstairs. I'm having them come back after the new year to install the flooring upstairs. They were great. I'm defiantly saving their number and referring them to all my clients. As a Realtor I'm always asked for referrals and this is one I can give out with confidence.

We pulled up the carpet in our living/dining room, of a house built in the fifties, that had hardwood floors underneath. We had the hardwood floors refinished on November 19th, 2019, which also included replacing about 4x3 section. I waited a month to do this rating to be sure the work was good. Javier came and gave us a fair and true quote, explaining what would happen, and what would work best since there were some stains in the wood. No guarantees were made that the stains would come out. The other quote we received was from a top company, but no explanation of the work done, or the best options. To be fair, Javier’s price was also lower. Javier and his family (team) came on the day and did everything they said. The final product is great, and looks beautiful. Monteros Hardwood Flooring is a company I fully recommend. Javier made time to meet with me on July 4th for my estimate which was surprising but appreciated since I had limited availability due to living out of town. His knowledge about floor restorations was extensive and he answered every question I had about my 65 year old floor. He had even recommended a high traffic sealant since I am preparing my house for rent. Yes, I want the high traffic finish but I was concerned about the fumes for my tenants. He explained that they now use low VOCs and the smell goes away much quicker than the older stuff, which gave me peace of mind. I reviewed stain samples right then and we chose a slightly darker color stain to camouflage some of the nail damage from an old carpet installation. During the job, he worked with my project manager who told me his team was prompt, professional and delivered an absolutely beautiful floor. They even stained all of the thresholds including the entry so that it would match the floor! The last perk was being able to pay the deposit and final invoice from my computer at home. I highly recommend Monteros for your hardwood flooring needs. What a pleasant experience!!!

I was quoted almost the same price from a different company for carpet and Javier was able to put in wood flooring for thousands less than the other company. So glad I found him.

These guys were great. Really good price quote. We already had the flooring and glue. At first, Javier said they didn't move furniture but when I said it was between him and another company, he agreed to do it for a reasonable fee and did a good, careful job. His dad was there with him doing the work and taught him the business. Even more amazing was this: for some reason during the work, both of my glass french doors shattered. It was a freak occurrence and Javier was extremely professional about it. He apologized and paid for the replacement. That's how you know a company's great: when things go wrong, they handle it. They finished the work in faster time than anyone else even quoted and cleaned up every day. The floors look beautiful! I would definitely hire them again.

They did an amazing job. My 1950's floors were heavily damaged cracked broken in some spots including dark pet stains. They even removed the old carpet and hauled it away. Javier and his workers were very professional and punctual. My floors look brand new. A complete transformation. I strongly recommend this company.

I am not easy to please, and I've had extenuating circumstances due to a recent family situation that delayed our install multiple times. In spite of all that, and the fact that this was a flooring install as well as a soundproofing job... well, it just didn't seem likely that I would be fully pleased. And yet, I recommend these guys without hesitation. I am fully pleased with both the quality of work and the patience and professionalism of Montero Flooring. I've texted Javier from Montero so many times - either due to my continuing changes in scheduling, or to make sure he was in sync with what I wanted done on the soundproofing part of the job. He never once was impatient with me and, in fact, he and the rest of the guys were completely professional every step of the way. And they really knew what they were doing too when it came to the work itself. There isn't a single area of the interaction that I felt fell short. They can do the work and they are professional and knowledgeable, and they are nice too. What a great experience! If you're considering to hire them, I say do so - my recommendation is unqualified!

The crew from Monteros Hardwood flooring are AMAZING! They repaired the floor, replaced some slats with antique wood, sanded, stained and the floors are absolutely beautiful. The equipment and products they use are top of the line. I was very impressed with their knowledge, experience and professionalism. I will be referring them.
