The work was performed really fast and was very professionally done. If you want a knowledgeable plumber... This guy knows his stuff he s also a very nice fellow. The problem is I m left with an uneasy feeling... After all is said and done... I just feel we paid too much $1,400 for about 2 Hours of work... I m guessing the water heater cost him about $500 so an additional $900 for about 2 hours of labor plus his drive here, so it seems high at $450 a hour. I think $300 would have been a lot too but would have been fairer to us. One Thousand dollars should have been the fair price. Who makes $450 an hour... I sure don t. One other thing is the pilot went out the next day and we called him about it and never got a call back. The pilot after we relit it stayed lit so no problem with it now. Also a $40.00 fee for using a credit card... considering how much he made on the visit seems like too much.
