+ 0 moreThe crew was efficiant, professional, and cared about doing a good job. The repiping comes with a ''lifetime guarantee'' against root infestation. They did the job originally in 2003, and, for several years, were good about coming out each year whenever the connections backed up to clear them out. This year, however, they dragged their feet, didn't return calls, and ended up not responding at all. Roto-Rooter came out immediately and, after not being able to use the shower all week, I am now back in business - $167 later. My answers for 4-6 are based on this recent experience.
Description of Work: Big Pipe did a trenchless replacement of my sewer pipes. They faced a difficult site (a lot of roots and very hard ground), and it took longer than they anticipated. The pipes replaced a clay line, which had separated at one connection, and had to be reamed out regularly. I hoped that this would eliminate the problem permanently. It did not, however, because the new pipes connected to clay pipes at the city and under the house.

+ -1 moreTHE WORK WAS DONE SATISFACTORILY. THE PLUMBERS SENT OUT KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND DID THE WORK THAT WAS THERE TO BE DONE. THE OWNER WAS REASONABLE WHEN THERE WAS A DISPUTED BILLING AND THE GIRLS IN THE OFFICE WERE NICE TO TALK TO ON THE PHONE WITH QUESTIONS ANSWERED WHEN ASKED.
Description of Work: RESTAURANT INSTALLATION OF: TWO BATHROOMS, ONE WATER HEATER, ONE 3 COMPARTMENT SINK, ONE PREP SINK, TWO HAND SINKS, ALL THE UNDERGROUND 4' SEWER AND 3' GREASE LINE. 1/2' WATER LINES AND 1 1/4' GAS LINES.

+ -1 moreTHEY CAME OUT AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF CLEANING OUT ALL OF THE DRAINS AND REMOVING FOOD STUFF, PET HAIR AND OTHER DEBRIS FROM THE DRAINS THAT NUMEROUS OTHER PLUMBING COMPANIES HAD MISSED.
Description of Work: COMPANY WAS CALLED AS THE KITCHEN SINK AND THE BATHROOM TUBS WERE COMPLETELY STOPPED UP.
