I would have given A's across the board except for a mix-up regarding painting. Otherwise very satisfied.

Jack came over to walk the job with us within an hour of our first call. He was extremely polite and and quot;really listenedand quot; to what we wanted to do, always jotting detailed notes with every discussion. From that time on, he was immediately responsive to every phone call, every question, every change that we made as the job went forward. We had his cell phone and that of his foreman, and they were always reachable within minutes. The politeness and willingness to be helpful applies to every member of his crew. Jack was up front about costs, and billed weekly. If we were headed toward a cost overrun, he would let us know before we made final decisions. The work itself is outstanding. Jack's crew are excellent carpenters, framers, etc., and the sub-contractors have been first rate (painting, floor finishing, furnace change outs, plumbing, electrical, tile and stone work). Several times when the architect threw a bit of cold water on an idea, Jack found a way to accomplish what we wanted. He's good at problem solving. This was a large job, and at the completion, it looked just like what we had imagined and wanted. We couldn't be more pleased.
