+ -1 moreA crew of 4 dug around the house until they hit the "hard pan" clay surface. In places, they had to go down 6 feet. In addition, drains were installed inside the house in the crawl space to capture water from an unknown source. Gabriel was very diligent about trying to discover the water and doing whatever was needed to capture it. The project took 3 weeks and lots of digging, but seems to have done the trick. Our crawl space is finally dry. He also installed gutter screens on the roof and located a leak in the irrigation system.
Description of Work: Gabriel installed a french drain system around the house exterior and in the crawl space. This involved digging a trench ranging from 3 o 6 feet deep around the entire exterior of the house, lining the trench with permeable felt, and placing perforated pipe embedded in gravel in the trench to route ground water and downspout water to the street.
