Poulos Moving Systems is a fully licensed and insured moving company permitted in the State of California. Poulos Moving Systems is owned and operated by Peter Poulos, a native of Monterey, who has worked in the moving industry since 2002— packing, moving furniture, driving, supervising crews, and managing moves. A former driver with the largest Van Line in the country Pete Poulos gained knowledge of the industry few have experienced. Now an owner of his own small business he is passionate about Poulos Moving Systems and the potential it holds. Poulos Moving Systems, Inc. serves with dedication in helping families make an easy transition to their new homes. We have experience working with customers and understand that moving can be stressful at times. Our experienced, professional crews are personable, prideful and caring to our customers needs and concerns. Our equipment and fleet of trucks are owned by us and maintained regularly by a small business like ourselves. We want you to know that we strive to pick-up on time, keep to a planned schedule, and deliver your belongings in the same condition that it left in. We don't want to move you once. We want to be your mover for life.

Since 2009 we have expanded our fleet and make regular trips throughout California servicing active military service member relocation. Poulos Moving Systems can also provide 24/7 monitored storage at our facility in Salinas that can accommodate from a couple of items to an entire household

Description of Work: I had some very heavy and expensive pieces of furniture to move from my house. They took such great care of my pieces and hardwood floors. Exceptionally nice people too. We even sat down for tea after the move and had a nice chat. These movers are on another level above that your typical moving service. I would highly recommend if you want exceptional service.

Description of Work: Pete Poulos is a class act with a remarkable professionalism. Part of what was delightful about him and his team is that they were sincerely unaware of their their excellent reviews on AL. As far as their services are concerned, the standouts are: 1. The estimate was authentic. No hidden charges, no make- it- up- as- they- went- along shenanigans. 100% integrity. 2. His team of movers are kind, funny, and with confidence moved the moat precious of items with equal care as an inexpensive item. They do the packing and take away the concern and worry about the details. They are professional and humorous at once. Truly delightful. They exude trust and demonstrated it. Without hesitation it was the best moving experience of my life. And I am a homebody creature of comfort. They respected this utterly. Integrity and care are worth every dollar spent. If you care about your belongings and life's personal effects; call Pete. He will make your move an easy experience! Thank you!

Description of Work: Jim Poulos moved us, and arranged it with only two days notice. He was personable, professional, prompt and thorough. This included the (flawless) move of a 1927 Steinway baby grand piano, along with multiple fragile pieces of artwork. The ONLY damage: one slight dent in a loaf of bread, still quite usable for my kids' sandwiches the next day. Very professional. I highly recommend him, and will definitely call him next time around.

It was a pleasure to be your mover and an experience that my crew and I still talk about to this day. It's not everyday that we are given the opportunity to move a piano with such unique-ness and history. My personal concern is the "B" rating we received for price. My company's rates are very competitive for the Monterey Peninsula and are about 10% less than the premier moving companies in this area. With that said I'm glad to have been your mover and will look forward to moving your piano again if need be.

Pete arrived on time, and began the heavy work of moving immediately. Knowing we were on a budget, he moved the big items first, leaving the small for us to move if necessary. Even though he worked longer than expected, he stuck to the price we agreed upon. I was very impressed by his professionalism and his work ethics. I would recommend Pete Poulos Moving Systems to anyone...everyone!
Description of Work: My husband and I were moving and did not want to infringe on our friends, so we found Pete on Craigslist. He gave us an estimate, and when we could not meet the price, he worked it out with us. Pete and Brian (another worker) worked extremely hard, and were very, very respectful and pleasant. They moved us out of our old house, and into the new in record time! I couldn't thank the two of them enough! I have given his name and number to many of my friends.
