I needed to address the 60 year old trees that run along my fence line prior to replacing the fence. Craig came in and gave a great estimate to do the work, and was able to turn around the next week and come on my day off. His crew was extremely nice and professional, and worked very efficiently. What I really appreciated was that they all were properly equipped to do the job - they all had (and used) ear protection, helmets with face guards, and proper clothing, in addition to the other things like chain saws, proper tree trimming ladders, etc etc. Craig came by a couple times during the job, dropping off and picking up the larger equipment, etc. They did exactly what I wanted, as I described it, and the clean-up was excellent. At one point I looked out and saw the guys in an discussion about my last sad little rose bush. They pulled off a vine that was choking it, and trimmed and shaped it which was very sweet and greatly appreciated! I'm going to have Craig and his guys back on a regular basis to keep my remaining trees trimmed. I would recommend them highly.

Responded quickly to bid request. It took a little while to schedule but crew showed up on time and completed the work to my satisfaction. They cleaned everything up well.

Craig and crew showed up on time, with the right equipment, trimmed the trees and cleaned up every bit of the area surrounding the trees. They did a beautiful job cleaning out all the dead wood, and shaping the tree.

The largest of the three trees loomed high over and leaned threateningly toward my house to the point that I feared for our safety every time we had a significant windstorm. Craig Campbell responded to my call for an evaluation within two hours and provided an estimate the next day. He confirmed my fears about the threat the tree posed and recommended removal. I considered his price more than reasonable in light of other estimates I had received. He and his crew of four arrived promptly. His crew was very experienced and worked together as a team to bring down and cut up the many huge branches. I was amazed at the man-in-the-tree's skill in cutting and lowering to land each one right in front of the chipper. The job was done as requested in a minimum of time and in a professional manner. I would expect to engage Mr. Campbell again in the future to trim portions of the many oak and pine trees on my property.

Overall, we are very pleased with the work done by El Gabilan Tree Service. From soup to nuts, Craig Campbell was the consummate professional. Our first contact with him was during a walk-through of our property during which he was very thorough and informative. Since we had never hired a tree service to perform really extensive clearing (as opposed to isolated removal of fallen limbs for example), Craig asked pertinent questions to ferret out exactly what we expected in terms of the scope and intensity of the job. As a result, the work done by him and his crew exceeded our expectations. They worked steadily over a two-day period to complete the job, on time and on budget. We think that the cost of the job was competitive, and importantly, we're pleased with the value that we received. We look forward to hiring them again as needed to maintain our trees.

I used Angie lists to get these folks. I had a branch that fell and I called these folks. Th guy could come right away due to the other jobs. When they came in to trim my trees, one tree was clipped close to its trunk. It took 2 hrs. Very professional. Oh, very honest. I unknowingly over paid by $50, all in cash. I closed the dood and in a few seconds, I got a knock on my door. It was the owner who told me I overpaid. I will use them again.

He did a very good removing the stump for me. Craig is a very nice person, that completed this job very quickly for me. I really appreciated this because I had an order of sod on its' way that I needed that stump removed in order to place the sod down.

I selected El Gabilan Tree Service from Angie's List, went to their website over the weekend and requested an appointment. The owner called me on Monday. Craig Campbell listened, and asked a few questions. I felt he had listened well, and understood what I was looking for. He came out the next day and gave me a reasonable quote. We set a date for the trimming / cleanup. Unfortunately, it rained that day, but he and his crew came the next day. The three of them did a beautiful job of cleaning out the dead wood, trimming back the limbs, and also cleaning up afterwards. They artistically created a beautiful looking tree. It greatly enhances the front of our house.

They a wonderful job at a reasonable price. I will call them in the future. They were prompt, professional, and efficient. I would absolutely recommend their services.

They came in at 9:00 am exactly and in an hour, they were done. Craig Campbell, the owner is an honest person. I paid him to what I thought was $380 but when I got to the last $20, I counted as $360. I asked my wife if she supplemented me with $60 or $80. She said she gave me $80. I went out again and Mr. Campbell was still holding the money in his hands and he counted the monies himself and confirmed I gave him $380 and he gave me then $10.

Overall, it was a good experience and I will call El Gabilan again for my tree servicing.

The owner seems knowledgeable and they always do a really good job of shaping and trimming the trees. They don't come out and just cut the trees; they know about trees and what is good for them and what isn't. I would say knowledgeable and professional. I will use them again in the future.
