Alex is honest, knows code and works to it, and is a customer service king who does great work. I've used him twice; first to put in a new service box which required rewiring nearly the whole house to bring it up to code, and then to rewire my kitchen remodel. On both occasions I was impressed, impressed, impressed. The initial rewiring was accomplished over the holidays and I had 14 family members visiting my "new house." The new service box, which requires PGE cutting the power at the pole until the new box is in, was originally scheduled for one of the final days everyone was here. We decided a full house with no power was a stretch so rescheduled the new service box for after the crowd left. On the originally scheduled day I noticed one of Alex's electricians (also Alex) sitting in his car across the street. When asked, he told me Alex had sent him to sit watch and ensure PGE didn't mess up the change in work date and cut power to my house that day. WOW! Alex offered to be here each time there was an inspection in case I didn't feel comfortable answering questions about the ongoing work. During my kitchen remodel, my cabinet guy accidently nicked the oven wire. Alex was here and fixed it in a snap; he had curled plenty of extra wire under the house in case of such an event. Also during my kitchen remodel, the house across the fence from the house accross the street caught fire. Alex crossed the street, jumped the fence, and banged on the backyard slider of the house on fire encouraging the lady of the house to GET OUT! She hadn't even realized, yet, that her garage was burning. These guys know your house and electrical needs better than you do: when I had Alex come for the kitchen, I asked that a second line/electrical plug be placed in the master bath. He very kindly said he'd do it but wondered why I had said no when he had asked me during the initial installation if I wanted a second plug in the master bath... I simply had to laugh, tell him I didn't remember, and make a note to self to pay attention to any future recommendations he made! Alex does top grade work on small projects (like my house) and large (like new medical buildings). You get what you pay for, and Alex is a top notch electrician as well as a top notch person. It's not often one runs into such integrity, honesty, and good work. Alex may not be the lowest bid on your project, but he'll do the best work and will not finish until you are satisified with the job.
