Brian (the owner of Castle Home Services) was supposed to clean the whole house (two upstairs bathrooms and the main first floor tile. When he came over to inspect our home and give us a cost to clean it I asked him to remove his shoes (we don't wear shoes in our house - we believe it's filthy to track in dirt and germs from outside and public restrooms). He removed his shoes with no problem (as have all the other cleaners/workers/servicemen who have entered our home over the years). We just had our carpets cleaned 1 week earlier by a different company who, again, had no problem whatsoever removing his shoes and commented that many people ask him to do that. The day Brian showed up to clean our tile I asked him again to remove his shoes but he said he wouldn't do it. He claimed he had to clean outside to his vehicle and back inside the whole time. Not true. Once he brought all his supplies inside he rarely went outside and could have easily removed his shoes and put them back on when doing so. We did not have him to do the upstairs bathrooms as he would have walked on our carpet (recently cleaned) with dirty shoes. We wanted our tile cleaned, we waited for the appointment, and the downstairs was in more need of cleaning than the upstairs so we had him clean the tile downstairs (he also came recommended on Angies list). We just mopped the floor after he left. I honestly never thought it would be an issue. It never had been before with anyone who has come into our home. Brian was not confrontational about the issue but he was also not apologetic or nice about it either. The floors are cleaner but not very noticeable because we keep a very clean home so he did do his job cleaning the tile. We are just disappointed that he does not have the respect or work ethic that all the other service people have had who worked on our home. Our neighbors were interested in getting their tile cleaned as well but we did not recommend they use Castle's service because of the aforementioned problem.

They were on time and did the work in a professional manner. We are very pleased with the quality of the work.

Not only were carpets nice and clean, but there was a bumpy area in the living room carpet that he was able to lift, stretch and trim excess carpet, then refasten it so it was nice and smooth. And it was just a small additional fee. Very pleased with the results!

The owner/manager Brian Fanta was extremely courteous, accommodating and diligent. He adjusted furniture and spent the time to do a very high quality job. We were most pleased and intend to use Castle's in the future

Owner helped me see what 1000 sf covered and we selected the areas that fit within the 1000 sf; We discussed the different types of cleaner and what would work best on certain areas. Work was done very professionally and I was very satisfied.

Brian came out late Friday afternoon at the end (I am sure) of a long work week. He showed up as scheduled and went right to work. I had to change my original appointment and had no problems contacting nor rescheduling. Carpets look good! I prefer supporting family owned businesses and would not hesitate to recommend Castles Home Services.

Carpet cleaning... removed soil spots from a well used area of the carpet without having to clean the entire carpet. Looks like new. Brian was the best! Efficient, knows his stuff, on time, pleasant, professional and I highly recommend him, will use him again and I appreciate his work. He is a gift!

Brian Castles arrived at our home at 9:00 a.m., the time and date arranged previously, to clean our carpet. It was in really bad condition from an 18-1/2 year old Toy Poodle who passed away the prior weekend. He had been blind and deaf for some time, and we wanted to get a new dog but decided to get the carpet cleaned. He told us that the new dog would probably still be able to detect any accidents on the carpet by the old dog, but we wanted him to go ahead with the cleaning any way. He did an excellent job. The carpet (which was over 17 years old, looked like new again. It was amazing to see what Brian did and it took about 2-1/2 hours. He was very professional, using a sticky-tape to protect the furniture that would remain in the room, and vacuumed completely to remove all the loose dirt. We are very impressed with Brian's job...and it looks fantastic. Thanks Brian!

Castles Home Service were very professional. They were on time, got right to work and cleaned by area rugs wonderfully. They also gave me a quote on my wall to wall carpet and also my tile floor. I would not hesitate to use them again. DC

He did a beautiful job cleaning the carpet on 2 different occasions. And, the first time, he found our missing pet snake under the couch!...and didn't even charge us extra for it =] If you want your carpet cleaned, this is the person to do it.

We had all our carpets cleaned by Castle five months earlier, and the rest of the house still looks great. but we had some construction done recently and the workmen put plastic down to protect the carpets while they worked. When they finished the construction, they pulled up the plastic and left a sticky gluey residue on the carpet. We knew who to call--Castle! Brian showed up on time and did a very professional job. He was able to completely remove the sticky residue and left the carpet looking as good as new (even though it sadly is 22 years old). Thank you, Brian! You're the best!

Brain the owner showed up himself. We talked about what I wanted him to do, i.e. which carpets I wanted cleaned and whether I wanted him to treat the clean carpets with a protectant afterwards or not. He then gave me an estimate. After we agreed on the price, he performed the work. Brian is a very nice person who is pleasant to be around, very accommodating and conscientious. I felt throughly comfortable having him in my home. He did a great job! I would definitely have him back again.

Brial was on time and reasonably priced. He worked quality and move all the furniture. He gave me a price before he started. He did an excellent job.

Castles Home Services owner Brian Franta arrived precisely at the pre-arranged time. Brian was professional in appearance (full uniform), manner and demeanor. Brian took the time to become acquainted (both he and I are "talkers," which resulted in an absolutely fascinating half-hour conversation covering a vast variety of subjects), but when it came time to work, Brian went at it with a professional passion that was impressive. He lugged his heavy equipment up-and-down my stairs without the benefit of a rest or break. Upon completion, the work was inspected and found to be excellent. I did not grade the value of Brian's work because I have never had my carpets professionally cleaned so I have no basis against which to compare Brian's price. I was not-at-all disappointed with the price, however.

Overall, it went very well. I just had to wait a few days because I wanted to make sure the carpet was thoroughly dry before I move the furniture back. I will call him again when it's time for the next annual cleaning.

Brian just did a wonderful job cleaning all of the carpets in our home (wall-to-wall plus multiple wool area rugs). He arrived at 8 A.M. as promised, and was done by 2 P.M. This is the second time I've used Castles Home Services, and the service and attention are just as good this time as they were over a year ago. Before getting an estimate, I went online and found another company's pricing for carpeting and wool area rugs. Although I was prepared for Castles to be a little more expensive (since they offer real service and accountability), the price I received was in-line with the rates I researched elsewhere. Unlike the big national companies, where you never know who the operator will send into your home, I know that when I call Castles, I can talk to Brian. More importantly I know where to find Brian if I have a problem, which is a level of personal accountability I find far too unusual in this day and age. I heartily recommend Brian with Castles Home Services.

They have done the job well and the carpets look great.
