Construction Superheroes..  I had Max Baggett and his crew of construction professionals build a workshop and storage building for me last year..  I was so happy with the work that I contacted Max again this year to rebuild my old deck..  Started completely from scratch, removing dirt, grading, pouring footings, building the sub-structure and laying the new composite decking material..  Then the crew put in two concrete block retaining walls at least 80 feet long..  An incredible amount of work completed in less than a month..  Everyone who worked on this project was totally committed to  building me a fantastic deck that I can really be proud of..   Max always stays in contact with his crew and  keeps tabs on  the progress.. The crew is always prompt and very professional..  There is always a plan for the day when they arrive and they get right to work..  There is no wasted time..   They're respectful of me and my property and always clean up the site at the end of the day...  This is a group that really takes pride in their work..  I would certainly call Baggett Construction again for my next project..         

Max Baggett is a great guy to work with, friendly and accommodating.  He always got back to me in a timely manner when I called and explained clearly what he was going to do so I knew exactly what was going to happen. He's not inexpensive but he tries to keep cost down as much as possible while still giving you good quality work. I expect the workmanship will last many, many years.   He and his crew did a first rate job in upgrading my 1950's home.  He gave excellent advice and if he wasn't sure on some decorating point he admitted it.  The kitchen hadn't had any work done on it since the 1960's. The first job I had done was the 3/4 wall height paneling I had installed in the kitchen eating area.  It looks like something from a craftsman house. It instantly added interest in the kitchen. The next thing  was replacing the formica counters in the kitchen with silestone.  I also had a tumbled marble back splash put in at the same time to match the silestone counters.  I am very happy with the results.

After that was remodeling the bathroom, also from the early 1960's.  It was gutted.  When replacing some walls it was found to have extensive termite damage, almost all the wood had been eaten where the bathroom window was.  The only thing holding it up was the outside of the house!  Max took me personally to pick out the bathroom sink stone top at a small stone yard so I didn't need to buy a huge piece, I appreciated that a lot.  So I saved  money there.  His talented work crew did a bang up job installing the tile in the room.

The next to the last job done was evening and replacing all the floors in the house.  The kitchen floor wasn't the same height as the adjoining floors and people would trip going in or out of the kitchen.  That was fixed.  The carpet in the living room and bedrooms was over 40 years old and was replaced with a dark hardwood floor including the hallway.  New carpeting was installed in the bedrooms.  Crown molding was installed throughout the house.  The crown molding looks especially outstanding in the hallway.

The last thing done was installing a gas insert and  covering the original brick fireplace with green marble.  I kept the original wood mantel.  The fireplace is a fantastic focal point of the room now.

If I should need any more work done I would definitely have Max do the work as it is top quality.

The crew from Baggett Construction was on site every day, on time, and always working..   The jobsite was left clean every day and they were respectful of me and my property..   The experience of the foreman (Hector) was invaluable..  He made suggestions that improved the design and functionality of my new workshop..  He treated the project as if it was his own and put a great deal of effort into making sure everything was perfect..  Max was always available to answer any questions and stayed involved in the project from start to finish..   I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Baggett Construction  to anyone and I plan on having them back next year to rebuild my deck..

Max takes the appropriate amount of time (i.e. nothing is rushed) to get the work taken care of correctly on the first try.  He cares deeply for the work that his company provides, making sure it is top-notch.  He does a good job explaining things in layman's terms and did an excellent job detailing how expenses are tallied (base cost, overhead, labor, profit).  I very much appreciated that so there was no feeling of being taken advantage of.  A written estimate was provided ahead of time and in our case it proved accurate.  The price of a year's subscription to Angie's List was an extremely small price to pay for finding such a wonderful local contractor.

Great.  In addition to fine workmanship,  Max Baggett Construction is especially good at providing inventive engineering solutions to unusual or dificult problems which I had encountered.

I was extremely happy with the work performed.  Max showed up promptly at the scheduled time to provide the quote. After scheduling the work, Max returned at the agreed upon time and completed the work as requested.  Max was very personable and professional and him and his painter did a great job on refreshing my front door so it once again looked new.  I would definitely recommend Max and will have him perform jobs in the future as they are required.

They're easy to work with. They're timely and efficient. The quality of work was terrific. I would rate my overall experience as excellent. I would use them again in the future.

He is on Angie's List and that is where we got a hold of him. The overall experience was excellent. They took down all the wallboard on the walls and put up new wallboard. They repaired a wall where the previous contractor had put windows in and left the flashing on the windows so deep that they couldn’t put moulding up. They never came out to fix it, so he repaired the walls so that they matched up flush with the inside of the windows that they could be finished out. They put in a new closet in one of the bedrooms. They scraped the ceilings and added some electrical to the bedrooms’ lights in the closets. They put in new flooring and took out the old carpeting and stuff. They replaced all the doors that had been ruined by the previous contractor by painting them with a sponge brush. They put new moulding in all the bedrooms and crown moulding. They repainted the hallway because they had to take off the mouldings to replace seven doors that were facing the hall. They put back all the lighting and put moulding around all the windows and doors. We are planning on using them again next year.

I don’t have any complaints about Max or his crew.   They are conscientious, friendly, polite and clean.  I never felt uncomfortable around any of them.  When I had concerns Max did not hesitate to explain why something was done a certain way.  If he had to change anything on the schedule he made sure I was kept informed.  His estimates are very thorough but when issues arose not on the estimate he advised me of the options available and what he thought was the best course of action.  Max’s calm and patient demeanor helped me get through a major remodel of my rental property.   I feel very fortunately that  he is my contractor and he will be doing another job for me soon.   I have learned to trust his advice and his workmanship.

They always do a perfect job. They always come when they say they are going to, which I greatly appreciate because not all contractors do that. They are very accommodating, and I just have to call them if I have a problem and they will come and fix it. Max hasn't billed us yet for the work. The closet doors had not been done right when the house was built and they redid every door. I now have doors that actually close. They do what they say they are going to and they go above and beyond the call of duty. He either does it right or he doesn't do it. He has a crew that does the work and then he comes in and checks and makes sure that everything is done properly. They clean up everything and you would never know that they had been here except for the work. They clean up after themselves and put down plastic on the carpets. I never have anybody else do anything for me but him. I have recommended Max to everybody. In fact, I am going through physical therapy and have told my physical therapist to call Max if he wanted something done.

Max Baggett and his crew did structural repairs and replaced siding around the entry on our home. The way his men worked on the job was impressive. Every step was thought out in advance and their high skill level was obvious. They were professional and friendly. The job was done quickly, yet they never looked rushed. Max explained what was needed and they delivered.

With many years of experience in the industry, Max was able to accurately tell me what he would find before he ever started. This meant we were able to plan our expenditures. In addition, Max has a great eye for esthetic elements. He recommended some visual changes that would improve the looks of the home and save money. When he was done, the entry of our home was not just restored to good condition but built better and looked more inviting than when new.

I?ve been around different kinds of construction most of my life and seen all levels of workmanship and building practices. Max Baggett and Baggett Construction are among the best. I highly recommend Max to those who want professional, quality work done in a timely manner and at a fair price.

WOW! Absolutely awesome! They were exceptional! We have a brand new house now at the completion and I have to say it was worth every single penny and more! We got a deal! I feel like I bought a brand new house! Max and his crew (Including every single subcontractor that he hired to come in) were timely, courteous, professional, DETAILED AND METICULOUS about every single aspect of their jobs. Every member of the construction crew was a true craftsman. Max Baggett kept in contact with us during every step of the construction process and was responsive to every call we made. Max runs a large company and we always felt as though we were his number one customer and paid attention to EVERY detail, and responded to every single call we made to him immediately. Even when his portion of our whole wall cabinetry was completed he made a point of coming by when we were having our home entertainment center and sound system installed. He instructed the installation team how to hide wires and protect the functionality and beauty of our custom made cabinets. As a side note I must say that I was exceptionally pleased at how clean my house was kept during the construction process! The whole front of our house was under remodel and the crew used plastic cover sheets so the dust did not get into our bedroom (That we lived out of for 3 1/2 months during the construction...so it was really important to us to keep it dust free). I have breathing problems and did not have one problem during the entire time of our construction process. Also, the lighting was done perfectly. We have some special paintings that David installed the lighting to illuminate the pictures to show their true beauty. As things were getting close to Christmas and I was having to coordinate our furniture (Murphy's Mover's was exceptional!) to get moved in so at least our family had a place to sit for Christmas Dinner.....Max and his whole team work hard to ensure we could have our construction completed in time for Christmas Dinner for my husband/s side of the family...which was a stressor in itself! I will definitely use them again AND every single subcontractor he used for our flooring, painting, firebox installation, mill work and tile work). I just have to say that there is not a better contractor and also, one of the most important and hallmark attribute of Max is what an Honest and ETHICAL man to work with, and so was every member of his team....my husband and I just cannot say enough about how great an experience this was and I would do it all over again. We just want to say a heart felt thank you to every single person that worked on our home. I now love every single minute I spend in it. I turned into a dream home.....I can't wait to start a master bath and kitchen remodel! Do hire this team and you will not regret the experience at all!

The work was done professionally and was completed in a timely manner. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding. I think the gate will be there forever. It is built very well and it looks great. I would highly recommend Baggett Construction to anyone that needs work done.

Awesome! Max arrived when he promised, kept in contact with us the whole time. Start/finished on time. Professional crew that obviously know their trade well. When any problems arose we were contacted before they did anything to make sure we knew what the possible solutions were to fix it. Max explained the whole process to us,how things were going to be done. He even instructed us on how to do some of the smaller projects ourselves. The crew cleaned up any mess they made, inside or out. One of the crew members even signed for a UPS package, placed it safely out of sight, as the house was empty at the time. I would not hesitate to use Baggett construction in the future, and would recommend them to anyone need work done of any size. They use quality products so things get done right the first time. Max works with people and goes above and beyond what we expected from a contractor.

Max Baggett came highly recommended to us by family friends who had remodeling/addition projects completed by Max and his company Baggett Construction Services. After seeing both homes, we contacted Max to do our kitchen/great room remodel and our bathroom remodel. Max was very thorough in explaining his bid and answering any questions that we had throughout the project. He was great at returning calls if we weren't able to reach him the first time. Plastic sheets were hung to minimize the dust to the other parts of the house. The work area was picked up and swept at the end of each day. Max offered suggestions and his expertise when we needed to make decisions. Max made the remodeling experience a pleasant one!

All those people who told me to plan on eating fast food for the next month before our kitchen remodel began obviously didn?t have Max Baggett for a contractor. Our remodel began and ended exactly as scheduled. In two weeks, our kitchen was gutted to the studs and transformed into a beautiful and functional kitchen. Even before work got underway, we really appreciated Max?s patience and approachability as he helped us plan. His wise counsel helped us save money and understand the pros and cons of various options, like moving the sink. His suggestions were great, like putting the accent tile above and below the garden window. Yet he always respected our decisions and never tried to upsell us or impose his own tastes on our project. I really appreciated Max?s being on site at the beginning and ending of every day, setting out the day?s tasks and checking them at the end, so any potential surprises were nipped in the bud. I also appreciated the high standard he held his workers to, like when he had the upper cabinets moved down 1/4 inch to make the crown moulding look its best. The curtain he put up at the kitchen entrance was effective at keeping the dust contained in the kitchen, which his workers vacuumed up at the end of every day.

Having them do any work at my home is always a pleasure. The workers are always on time and do excellent work! Even if they find surprises, which usually happens, they explain what they find and how they are going to fix it. They found a structural problem when they did my kitchen remodel. Max Baggett called in both an architect and a structural engineer and the problem was taken care of perfectly. Baggett Construction is a pleasure to work with.
