Description of Work: I purchased a deal for Christmas light installation. I have never paid more than $100.00 for this service. When the group arrived, they immediately told me that to do my lights the way I wanted them it would take them extra time and another $100.00. The put up half the lights--there were two of them and all I got was the edge of the house, nothing around the windows, etc. During the service, someone came by to talk to the primary person and that took time away from my service.

Description of Work: Today, America's Best Inc came to clean my 20 windows for the Big Deal $119 for 20 windows. My house fronts on Parnassus Ave, and is two stories high. However, house is at summit of steep hill, so I have a basement and garage under the first floor with NO windows to clean. The crew informed me that offer was for first and second flloor, and they count the garage-basement as first floor, so my second floor is third floor, so cleaning those windows would be charged further. I talked with their manager and he reiterated the policy and refused to reconsider. Therefore I cancelled the cleaning.

Description of Work: House pressure washing and clean exterior windows on two story house. Did quite good job and seemed efficient. Added $8 per each window pane, so it added $120 to the price advertised, which was a bit troubling.

Description of Work: This was my first use of an Angie's list deal. The deal was for 100 linear feet of gutter cleaning with an additional cost for any footage over that amount. I assumed that the cost would cover an average house with the possibility that there would be some additional cost for overage. My house has approximately 1800 sq feet. The crew measured and told me the job would cost an additional $250.00. As far as I am concerned, the deal was just a come on as I don't think most home owners would really know the linear footage of their gutters. The crew agreed to clean 100 linear feet to cover those areas nearest the trees. The crew was fine. The deal was not.

Description of Work: company staff showed up on time and gave an estimate of window washing. However, we were told at that time that sliding glass doors counted as 2 windows, and it would cost considerably more for additional windows. There was also some confusion about payment; the workers didn't know this was paid in advance. They also left some of their towels on the ground outside.

Description of Work: Cleaned the outside of my windows. They did a very good job, were conscientious and polite. They covered their feet inside my home, which I appreciated. I would use them again.

Description of Work: 15 windows (outside only) were cleaned. Some screens were removed, others replaced with dirt and cobwebs on them. Some window sections had "water stains"-- no products available to remove them. Definition of "1 window" should be made very clear before agreeing to service.

Description of Work: I bought the Angie's List deal for $120 for up to 20 windows cleaned inside or outside. The upcharge for additional inside/outside or screens was reasonable. They certainly did a better job that I would have done myself. However, considering it was a professional job, I was a little disappointed by some streaks and dirty drips at the bottom of my window sills and in the blinds. I might use them again, but I would do a better inspection before I let them leave. Also, I thought the ad said the interior window cleaning included the window sills - not true.

Description of Work: My Step Mothers House needed a good outside cleaning since it was under trees and she had been hospitalized for some years now, with cob webs everywhere, dirt and dust all over the window frames and along the gutters. Not only did they clean the entire house, they took the time to show us a couple spots where the gutters had come off and possible wood rote may be a problem. The house access was fairly easy to work with so the job was completed within a couple hours. I have to say it looks nearly new again.

Description of Work: Basically, housed down my gutters because they were filled with grit from my new shingle roof. Unfortunately, all that grit ended up in the down spouts and storm drains, which are now plugged up. However, I think the storm drains were plugged up already.

Didn't do an effective job removing dirt from house. Stains remained on house and people commented that you could not even tell the home was power washed. Service reps didn't ask for a visual inspection or confirmation of work quality before packing up and leaving.

Description of Work: The crew was not trained properly. I blame the owner of the company. they did clean the windows, but not the windowsill and frame !!! In my opinion it is part of window cleaning. I was very disappointed plus it cost me an additional $120. Would not do business with that company again.
