Description of Work: Cleaned and flushed gutters. They were nice and prompt, however, I've noticed that they did not replace the screens on our gutters well at all. I also noticed in our last rain that there is one area that is still sheeting water. Not sure if the gutter is still clogged or if there is another issue. I'm about to call the company back and ask them to send someone to complete the job and let me know about the one area. I'll let you know how responsive they are. Thanks!

+ -1 moreThe company I contacted was actually a "broker" for the window team which surprised me because it wasn't advertised that way. I don't remember how much I paid for the offer. The price above is my best guess. The cleaning company that came to my home did a great job. I expected one or two guys to do the job, but a team of about 8 guys came and the job was done within an hour. They cleaned both inside and outside of the windows. They also swept off all the screens as part of their work.

There were a handful of times where I had to ask windows to be detailed better (in the corners), and the workers took care of them immediately. This was the first time we had our windows cleaned and we were happy with the results.

+ -1 morePositive: they were punctual, quick and professional. The price was reasonable. Negative: they forgot to clean multiple windows and i had to do a walk through with them and point out windows they forgot to clean and spots that were still dirty on the windows they did clean. They addressed it after the walk through. Although the add said that they will clean the frames, that did not happen and all the frames were left dirty. Also, the dirt from the water was left under the window and it felt unfinished

+ -1 moreBought a BIG DEAL on Angies list to have 10 windows washed inside and out. I understood when I purchased that cleaning the screens were Not included in the price. The actual window cleaning was only fair. Certainly faster than I could have done them. No sills were wiped. I will redo them myself. I guess you get what you pay for.

+ -1 moreThe only inconvenience was that they did not come on time. , They rescheduled for 8-11 am that day instead 12-3, but they came at 11.40 am, which was a little confusing. Once they arrived at the house, they worked efficiently and diligently.
Description of Work: The big deal I got through Angie's list cost $119, and it was for 20 surfaces (10 windows inside and outside). We had extra 4 surfaces, therefore, $16 were added to the cost. The team doing the window cleaning job was very well organized, and they left everything clean behind them. They were very courteous, and polite. They worked fast, and they cleaned the windows very well both on the inside and on the outside!

+ -1 moreI wasn't really happy with what they did. I've had my gutters cleaned before by another company, and how they did it was to take things out by hand. This company used water from my hose to clean the gutters, and got water all over my windows, which I then had to clean. It was messy. I would not use them again.

+ -1 moreThe workers showed up ON TIME and cleaned my neighbor's gutters, ( it was a Christmas gift to her ). Was not up there afterwards to see the actual results, but would presume that all the leaves/pine needles were appropriately removed along with clearing out the downspouts as she had no water spillage/overflow during last winter's rain. Some of the guys were a bit heavy and she didn't want them on the roof -- no problem as they brought appropriate ladders.

+ -1 moreA team of several young men showed up, spoke very little to me and did the job quickly.
Description of Work: When the service said "windows" I thought "windows: glass and frames" but these guys stuck very strictly to only glass. That may be perfectly reasonable, but I was disappointed to have clean outside glass with spider webs still in tact and dirty window sills. Not any effort was made to clean anything else. Windex is the easy part of cleaning windows, so I wasn't happy to have spent the money for this service.

+ -1 moreThe special was only for one side. The work was good. I wish the special could have been for both sides of the windows. They did a very good job. They finished very quickly. I guess the price was okay. I do not know. The last time I had it done was 5 years ago. I paid the same amount and got both sides done. This time I only got half done.

+ -1 moreOverall, we are satisfied with the service provided. The guys took about an hour to perform the job, arrived punctually, worked quietly andefficiently, and cleaned up afterward. They were courteous and professional.
Description of Work: I had both windown cleaning and gutter cleaning performed. The techinicians provided a quote and worked first on the gutter then the windows. For the windows, we chose to do exterior only. They used a squeegee for the ground level windows and spray wash for the upper windows. There is an extra $3/screen charge.

+ -1 moreI just had them do the exterior and they were very quick. They were probably here less than an hour, or maybe a whole hour. I had additional windows so I ended up paying them an extra $56.00 and that seemed really reasonable. They had their routine down and they did it. They showed up when they said they were going to show up and they did what they said they were going to do. I would use them again.

+ 0 morefirst it was rescheduled for two weeks later than the origional date. they came out on the day of the serivce and did the job but did not do the inside of the windows as per the coupon from angies list. i called and they came back out and finished the job. it was not that thorough of a job for a residence, more like you would get in an office building. there were communication problems with the workers and confusion between the workers and the office about the deal. overall, i wish i had called a local contractor. sorry

+ 0 moreI felt awful turning the workers away. I contacted Angie's List and was told I would be refunded $99. I honestly did not see the fine print with the limitations. I then received a call from Amanda for America's Best. Amanda immediately berated and accused me of having "buyer's remorse." Her words exactly. That I inconvenienced the workers. She wouldn't let me get in a word edgewise, all the while speaking in a loud and rude tone. She talked over me. She even insisted that she told me about the 100 feet maximum when I set up the appointment date. I don't know if I actually talked to her when making the appointment but I would have remembered if I was told of the 100 feet. I was completely blown away by her tone of voice and presumptuous condescending attitude. It was a horrible experience, to say the least. This would have only been the second service I've used since joining Angie's List a few months ago. I would be lying if I didn't say that I'm now a bit gun shy of purchasing any Early Bird Specials again.
Description of Work: Purchased an Early Bird Special for gutter cleaning at $99 the beginning of September. The service date was this morning. Upon arrival, I was told that the special only included the first 100 feet and that they were going to measure. That took me by surprise, because when purchasing, I obviously did not see the fine print that it was for a maximum of 100 feet. Told it was going to be an additional $180 for the gutters, a total of $279 for a Special! I refused service. I've used gutter cleaners on a steady basis and the usual fee had been around $175-$200. For that amount, I would have used someone locally. I have several issues with what happened. Truth be told, I do not have a large home and 100 feet is not very much to begin with. My husband would have told me not to get the special just because of that. Second, I was suspicious about the location of the company in Santa Clarita, and even emailed Angie's List to question whether I had purchased a service that was outside of the service area since Santa Clarita is in Southern California and I am in the San Francisco Bay Area. I was told that the company services in my area. I should have known that with such a large service area (I was told by America's Best directly that they service nationwide), the work is subcontracted to others. The 3 workers were pleasant enough.

+ -1 moreThe crew arrived on time, and one gentleman went through the house removing the screens first. Two gentlemen worked on the 10 windows I selected on the outside, and did an amazing job. The gentleman working inside was tall enough to reach over furniture that I could not move, and got all the corners. Within an hour, the three of them had completed all the windows, cleaned and dried the screens, and re-installed them all. They look beautiful.. My husband and I argued about closing the blinds! I wanted to admire the wonderful new view all night!
Description of Work: I purchased the deal to have 20 windows cleaned for $119.00, and then added in the screens ($2.00 each) and an extra window. The crew came within the time scheduled, and completed the work in about an hour. I did not have to remove curtains or blinds. This does not include cleaning the window sill or frame and tracks. The results are great. No streaks, and the screens are clean!

Description of Work: Paid $119.00 for Angie's List special offer (20 windows). Paid $136 for additional windows. Service guys removed screens to clean windows; I asked if they would be cleaned prior to returning to slots. Answer "No". . . so dirty screens put back in slots! Whole experience very disappointing. Rushed through mediocre job. Just wanted them off my property because it was apparent there was no interest in pleasing customer. Next time will use local service without the aggravation of Angie's List response. Oh, and I was provided with only one provider, i.e., America's Best. I already submitted review to Angie's List immediately after service in June.
