America's Best, Inc

I'd say the experience was just okay. Scheduling the appointment was fine. But when the crew arrived, I got the sense that because this was a "big deal coupon" they weren't doing their best work. In fact, I think the crew may have even been subcontracted by America's Best. They showed up at the appointed time, but didn't knock on the door to introduce themselves before they started, which I found oddly unprofessional. The windows were basically clean when they left, but again, they just kind of blew through the job without a lot of attention to detail. I gave them a B on price because of the deal, but if I were rating value for the money, it would be lower. I bought this for the deal, but I'll go back to my previous window cleaning service because they do a better job.

Work was performed adequately after a couple of scheduling mishaps

They arrived a little late. They were not very tidy--left behind a scraper that we later thought might have been dropped by a burglar. Quality of work was OK. Because of price I would do this again.

I planned for this service because I was putting my home up for sale which obviously included showing the home and holding open house events. The crew that came arrived late and were less than enthusiastic about being there and doing their work.I want to be clear that they were not rude or unpleasant but it was clear they really didn't like their job. Unfortunately, I did not follow them around and didn't check every detail of their work. After they left and having time to look around, it became more and more apparent they did not do a good job. Some Windows and screens were dirty and one screen frame was bent. The closer I looked the more I saw. There was no sense of detail . The qualify seemed to mirror they overall attitude. The picture window outside my dining room was dirty and difficult to reach. The job was so poor and I was having a Open House that I had to hire someone else to do the job right. I would definitely not hire this team again, If you do...follow them around and critique their work and make them do it right.

Went smoothly once I got an appointment. Company said that Angie's List did not give them contact info, so they did not contact me after I purchased the deal. Good company and service.

I responded to an Angie's List coupon for power washing. I arranged an appointment to have them come, which was a fairly large window of time (8am to Noon). The service workers were competent, but not friendly, and they were not able to remove all the dirt I expected them to. When they left, they did not reattach the hose to the spigot they had used for their power washer. Only a so-so experience, overall.

The window washers missed quite a few spots on the window. They were getting ready to leave when I discovered the spots. Good thing the foreman had to come back to get me to sign the work order, or I would have ended up with an incomplete service. I had to supervise the whole thing. The foreman was kind enough but not particularly customer-focused. On the other hand, the phone conversation with customer service was good in that they agreed to do a little more than originally offered, & they were very good.

Scheduled for b teen 11 and 2. Came at 1:45. Finihed at about 3:15. Discovered that the roof needed to be fixed as it was rotting but tdid not interfere with gutter cleaning.

Signed up for and purchased this company's "Big Deal" for a whole house window cleaning. Advertised as entire Bay Area region and "rapid response via email". Having heard NOTHING from America's Best for 2 weeks, and after several email contacts from Angies List, I finally gave up and called them. And arranged for an appointment for November 15th from 8-11 - PLEASE NOTE that this appointment was made FOLLOWING the woman's statement she needed to "check when we will be in your area" and waiting on hold after which she asked if I was in Bay Point or Pittsburg and then suggested an appointment for 11-15. To which I agreed. At 4:30 that same day, I was contacted by phone by "Angela" from Americas Best. Who stated that they do not serve my area (Pittsburg), couldn't help me, and told me to contact Angies List for a refund! Several problems I see: - The "deal" gave NO indication that their service areas were limited and my area was not included. Had there been so obviously I'd have looked elsewhere. - The "rapid contact" NEVER occurred. I had to contact THEM. - The contact person at the company specifically indicated she was checking for dates to serve MY area, confirmed my location, and proceeded to make the appointment. - Only AFTER having spent my funds, waited in vain for contact, finally obtaining an appointment, am I told exactly the opposite of what was both advertised and directly investigated and confirmed by Americas Best contact person in making the appointment. Am I upset - YES. Angies List should have a very strong chat with this company, and drop the rating they have been given. Clearly, in my opinion, there are issues with these folks.

When they arrived the young man in charge went with me through the house. When we were finished he gave me a price. It was such a wonderful price. I was so surprised. They went to work right away and they were careful of all of my things. They put on their "booties" as soon as they entered my home. The young men were so polite and courteous. They were also very well groomed and nicely dressed. My windows were just glowing when they left. I have used this company twice now. I will use them again. Oh, yes, they were very fast, but not sloppy.

Overall, a disappointment. I have had my windows done by a local company, that costs $200 and includes inside and out as well as screen and window framecleaning. I think I will go back to him. I would not use or recommend this company again.

I have a 3 story house (20 windows total) they only do the first 2 storys and they said it would be an additional $150 to clean the top.

Found out at last minute that friends from out of town were coming and they'd never seen my house. Windows were grimy. Called America's Best and they were extremely helpful, managing to squeeze me into an already tight schedule on short notice. Office staff is friendly and very efficient. Crew showed up on time and did a very professional job. Very happy with the results! Plan to use their services again.

Arrived on agreed-upon date. Performed work competently and thorougly. No problems. I'd use them again.

They were very unresponsive, I tried to contact them twice and never got a return call.

The work was fine. I was a little disappointed they didn't clean up all the leafs and dirt they pulled from the gutters on one side of the house.

They came exactly when they said they would. They did an excellent job and I couldn’t be happier and I would definitely recommend them to others. They were done quickly and cleaned up well after themselves.

I had to leave right after they came, so can't really comment.

I scheduled an appointment to get my windows cleaned after we recently moved into our new house. We have 16 windows, a skylight, a double door, a bay window and a triangle shaped skylight window in the kitchen. The two men team arrived promptly the day we were scheduled with all the equipment to clean the two story windows of the house, before they started one person walked with me through the house and checked all the locations of the windows to be cleaned. They were very mindful about not wearing shoes in the house. The offer was for 20 windows so we talked about the price for the remaining special windows, since they were not included. I was a little disappointed about that since I kind of assumed that they were included since we didn't fill the 20 window mark of the offer. After negotiating they cleaned the remaining special windows for 50$ total, so the final cost was 169$. I also did not know that they only clean the outside and not the inside, so that was a little surprise to me, too. But again I'm new to all this and I should have probably read the details closer ahead of time. They removed all the window screens and worked respectfully and swiftly, keeping an open communication during the whole process ,such asking if they could step into a certain room, before entering, removing their shoes at the entrance, communicating with each other to reach every single spot. The windows look great and we are very happy with the result. The only negative thing was that we had to pay extra for the special windows, but overall we are very pleased.

They were professional, fast and efficient. After they were done, they also told me of some trouble spots that they found -- one of our gutters was too flat to drain and needed to be fixed.

This supplier took my money and never contacted me, nor did they return my money

The guys were on time, very nice and helpful. They did everything in half a day. The work didn't include window sills though, you'd have to specify if needed.

The service was absolutely terrible and I did not think they were honest. I got them on an Angie's List special deal and they did not clean the windows I suggested to them; they cleaned others. Their quality of work was awful and it took them about 4 months after I signed up to even call me. I really disliked them.

They performed a gutter cleaning. Much of the content of the dirty gutters wound up in my flower beds, garden, patio, etc. They came on time and were quick.

Just fine. Very friendly customer service.
