Description of Work: I called United Spas, in repsonse to e-mail they sent to me, 5-13-13, that they would buy back used spas. The morning 5-16-13, I got a verbal quote from Mr Tim Kelly, (owner) the most he would give me for the spa was 450.00. They were supposed to come to my home to pay me the quoted $450 for the spa. The crew came to my home, 2 hours late, to haul it away and said that he could only give me $200. They said that the jets were not working.......How would they know that? The spa was drained this morning, in preperation for removal. I was very upset, talked to Tim Kelly on the pick up crew's phone, and he said that he had to go with what his haul away crew said it was worth!!! ????? Both the crew and Mr Kelly were very rude and said that Mr. Kelly said for them to leave if I would not agree to to the $200!!!! I was told last June 2012, he would pay me $ 700.00 for it. That was after I paid 200.00 for a tech to come out diagnose the problem. That was going to be $800.00 to fix! They refused to reimburse the $200 fee.!! That's when I contacted Angie's List. Now, I am still not getting what was quoted for the spa. Tried to negociate with Mr Kelly, He was rude and very disrespecful on the phone ans stated "Do not call me again!" and hung up!!!!!! I have another spa from this more than unreputable and shady out fit that cost me $1200 to fix!!. I feel these people are crooks and when I looked, on line, at BBB and YELP they confirmed to me that they not a business to be trusted!! Lying, poor service, and very rude on the phone. They can not resolve any issues with the inferior products they try to sell to the uniformed pubic. They lure you in, promising you service and reliability for their products. They don't even give you the time of day!! I WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND THIS SPA PLACE FOR FREE!! IT IS NOT THE WORTH THE AFTERMATH OF HEADACHES AND FRUSTRATIION!! They are horrible, as many other unknowing customers have had to find out the hard way. I WISH I HAD NEVER CONTACTED THIS CORRUPT OUTFIT........SHOULD HAVE LOOK AT REVIEWS BEFORE!! SPENT $5,800 on a spa from this place in 2007, had the same terrible service and lousy contact with Mr Kelly and his wife Nadine! These people are not to be trusted at all for quality products, service or customer satisfaction! They try to get what they can get and not back their products at all!! It is a scam. BEWARE!!!!
