As always, Zajic Appliance did an outstanding job. We have a a 20 year-old clothes dryer (Kitchen Aide) which abruptly stopped working. We spoke with the Zajic Service Department, and they promptly sent one of their fine technicians (Steve) to diagnose the problem. It was quickly determined that a fuse had blown out, when the dryer over-heated from a blocked exhaust vent. Steve replaced the fuse, clear the exhaust vent, and tested the machine. It now runs fine, saving us from having to spend much more to purchase a new dryer. Over the years we have received outstanding repair service from Zajic on a variety of issues. The family company has been in business in Sacramento for many decades. Simply stated, you will not find a better or more honest appliance repair service anywhere. David Abelson

Technician Gary arrived within the scheduled time-frame. He diagnosed the problem immediately. It took him less than 30 minutes to complete the repair. He patiently explained the reason for the problem and what he would do to correct it. He answered all of my questions about future problems, etc. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was also able to use a 10% off coupon.

Washer stopped mid cycle with a full load. Contacted Zajic that evening. Received a reply back early the next morning and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Service call diagnosed a "dead motor." Ugh. We decided to go ahead and replace the motor. We received a phone call from the main office about an hour after the first service call to verify our request and to let us know that they had the motor in stock. We made an appointment for this morning to install the motor. Both of the service repairmen and office staff were excellent. They arrive on time, explained the problem and the alternatives. Zajic had excellent customer service. I would call them for any appliance repair. This business exceeded my expectations! Thank you!

On time and on budget! How often does that happen! Explained that he could repair the dryer yet again but I really needed to have the vent cleaned out or it would just blow another heating element and possible fire hazard. Referred me to another Angie List partner who was also prompt and professional. Then the refrigerator went out over the weekend. They came and took a look and explained that the part would be cost effective since my fridge was a good buy. Both times, my (young adult) sons were home (since I was traveling) and they were great about explaining to them what the issue was and how to get the repairs. They felt included and not patronized at all and both service men engaged them in conversation. Looking forward to getting the part of the fridge this week and do not feel like I have to be home for the appointments since Zajic service men are so wonderful and my sons feel like they can handle the situation.

Next day appointment (mostly because this was just after a holiday). Justin called the morning of the appointment to obtain the Model Number for our washer. He picked up the part before arriving, so the repair was easy and efficient! I am more than satisfied and recommend Zajic Appliance.

My Maytag dryer, purchased in September 1992, started squeaking very loudly. I was about to give it "Last Rites" but instead decided to contact Zajic Appliance Service after reading their great reviews on Angie's List. I e-mailed the the company via Angie's List and received a prompt reply from Christopher. He said a technician could come out the following day to check out my dryer. JUSTIN, my hero, arrived at 12:00 Noon and immediately diagnosed the problems. He pulled out the spin drum and showed me the broken roller. He replaced the roller, pulley, and belt. Finally he replaced the vent hose to the outside. He set the dryer back in its space in the utility room, turned on the dryer, and it was "purring like a kitten" again!!! THANK YOU, JUSTIN!!! He was very professional and friendly and extremely knowledgable as well as efficient. I own the companion washer as well. I'll definitely call Zajic Appliance again for any further appliance repair needs.

Justin arrived on time, went right to work and repaired the dryer in less than 15 minutes.

We have a KitchenAid dishwasher - purchased 12/2011. Last week, it stopped running in the middle of a wash cycle. No lights on the control pads at all and no blown house fuses when my husband checked for that. We called Zajic Appliance, based on reviews on Angie's List. I called on a Friday night plus left a message through Angie's List, listing three days when we'd be available for someone to come. They are closed on the weekends but I got a reply email the next morning, Saturday, saying that they could come the following Tuesday. That was fine with us as we could hand wash dishes in the meantime. They had us call after 8:00 am on Tuesday in order to get a two-hour timeframe in which the tech would come. When I said we'd only be home for the first half of the timeframe, they said they'd try to have the tech make it at the beginning and, in fact, he showed up a little early. Turns out a thermafuse inside the dishwasher had blown. They had to order the new fuse and came out three days later, on Friday, to put in the new fuse. It now works perfectly. I were very professional - they made an effort to adjust their schedule to ours - I really liked the 10% discount coupon for using Angie's List - we will call them again in the future for any appliance repairs.

They handled it all and did a fabulous job. They're great. I've been using them for years. They never overcharge and they only do the work that's necessary.

After deciding that it would be too expensive to get our washer fixed we went into Zajic and talked with Christopher Zajic, I think that is his name. He was very friendly and seemed to be interested in what we want, not what they would want us to buy. So after looking at a few and and having us state what we were interested in he made some suggestions. We had a few options; wait to see if they can get a rebuilt machine, buy one of the cheaper models that they have of maybe go with a very reliable machine such as the Speed Queen which we showed interest in. My wife and I decided to think about it and after a week we went back and were going to go with the Speed Queen but were told that they had a rebuilt machine for less than what it would have cost us to fix our old one and they would deliver and take away the older. So we decided on the rebuilt machine. We feel confident that this rebuilt will last longer than the one it is replacing.

He explained the problem, told us how to resolve it, and did not charge us to his time.

We were having issues with our Maytag refrigerator. Ice was pooling at the bottom of the freezer and although we had an extended warranty on it, the repair was not covered. We were initially referred to capital city appliance repair and they quoted us over $300 to repair our fridge. I found Zajic through Angie's list and they said they were able to do the work for $133 so we scheduled an appointment with them. Bryan from Zajic arrived within the timeframe specified, was very competent and efficient in his repair work. So far, we haven't experienced any issues whatsoever with our fridge. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who needed work done on their appliances! I'm so glad we found them!

great.. later I found they were not a GE certified dealer and due to that, GE wouldn't refund me the $ I paid for a microwave that should not have had problems..

Technician (Gary) arrived on time, diagnosed problem within a couple of minutes. He was able to replace the water pump as he had one in his truck. Completed the repair, tested to make sure it was working. Friendly, fast & knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again for my appliances.

Positive outcome and I was fully advised on how to proceed in the future should I have additional problems.

We were very impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of the company, particularly the service professional who did the work. He was very knowledgeable, wonderful to deal with, very efficient and personable. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use it again the next time we need repairs on major appliances. I found the company on Angie's list just reading through the companies listed and the reviews I found on this company. Overall, a great experience from consulting the list to getting the work done.

It was excellent. I've used them twice now and they are unbelievably great. They are on time, quick, clean up everything when they leave, and explain exactly what they have done.

The service was excellent. They came to my house 2 times, once to diagnose the problem, and once to fix the appliances with the correct parts. Both times they were early which worked out great. No complaints. Forgot to mention Angies List after I paid them. Gave them a call and they sent me a check for 10% of the bill.

The technician arrived toward the end of the time window, and spent less than half an hour identifying the problem and fixing it. I would have been happy to pay for his services, but, get this: They didn't charge me a penny. I have to say that again: Zajic's did not charge for this service. The technician claimed that this particular problem was commonplace for this model Maytag (a defective drain pipe from the freezer section) that Maytag was aware of it, and he was going to get reimbursed from Maytag -- even though the warranty had run out. I had to pinch myself, but it was true: the receipt says "No Charge". The lesson? These are, without doubt the guys you should call if you have any appliance issues. Clean. Punctual. And, yes, honest -- and looking out for YOU. I would recommend Zajic without reservation.

They did a fine job. They were on time and responded quickly.

Zajic is amazing, and if I could give 10 stars I would do it in a heartbeat. My terminology isn't very good, so please bear with me as my objective is to convey the level of service I received. I had them come out because my 10 yr old dishwasher wasn't draining. Turned out it was a simple clog, so the gentleman cleared the line and ran a cleaner through the machine. It went through one full cycle with no issues, but the next day it was making a horrible rattling noise. Omar came out and discovered a piece of small plastic or glass (I've broken a few wine glasses in the dishwasher lately) made its way into the pump and burned it out. The part had to be special ordered, and the cost plus labor was going to be $300, but since I can't buy my color dishwasher anymore I reluctantly decided to spend the money to fix it. The service manager called me the day before my install appointment to tell me they found the same pump in their shop for much less if I was interested. Of course I said yes:) When Omar came back to replace the pump, the part numbers matched but the fit wasn't quite right, so he took my old pump and the replacement back to their shop to try and modify it to fit properly. A few days later Omar came back and installed the pump and I paid for the repair which was half of my original quote. How often does it happen that a repair is half of what you were originally quoted? My dishwasher ran beautifully for half a a cycle then stopped...no power at all! I was beyond frustrated because I thought the worst....that maybe the panel had gone out - and that is a very costly repair. I called Zajic again and they sent Omar back to my house first thing the next morning. I worried for nothing, as it turns out that when the pump burned out it also caused a fuse to go bad which Omar replaced...FOR NO CHARGE!!!! I was fully prepared to pay for the labor and parts since this was a domino effect and was completely unforeseen when the pump was replaced. Zajic ended up coming to my home FIVE TIMES and only charged me for the initial service call and the subsequent pump repair. I realize that time is money, yet they went out of their way to fix my dishwasher right and to keep my costs low. I've dealt with many repair companies over the years, but no longer. Zajic is now my "go to" place! Thank you!!!!

Outstanding service! I initially called for an estimate on a repair for a tenant's burnt out oven and thermostat. The estimate on the repair (lower than other bids) was over half the cost of a new stove so I chose to replace the stove. I called on the morning of 1/27. The stove was installed on the afternoon of 1/28. The tenant was very complimentary about the installers. "Quick and clean" With the Angie's discount, Zajic's price was slightly below Home Depot with MUCH faster installation.

They were responsive to my inquiries and prompt on appointment day.They were quick, friendly, cleaned up and very professional.

Up and running - so quite well. Responded promptly to request for service. Came out at appointed time. Quickly diagnosed problem and ordered part. Part came in within 2 days. Returned to install and complete repair. Technician (Justin) polite and patient, explaining what he thought and how he was proceeding. requested approval for each step. I am happy and wife is very happy. (Wife is clean clothes freak. Washer is running as I type.)

I'm very happy to have found Zajic. Brian (the technician) was very polite, professional and quick. I have no doubt I will call Zajic again when/if i need appliance repair or installation in the future.
