Many months ago Zajic came out to service a dishwasher that wouldn't drain. It was fixed incorrectly. I don't want to get into that problem because it was resolved. It's the resolution i want to talk about. Because I passed the warranty period on the goofed service I didn't expect any help. But I called anyway to suggest they improve their procedures. They said they had protocol in place to double check work was done correctly. They were sorry I wasn't satisfied. They would send someone out to "evaluate" the situation. They sent out David Jajic who not only evaluated, but fixed the problem. I'm so impressed at this company's integrity. I thought I would be blown off with a "tuff luck--it's too late to complain" attitude. But he really cared that they do a good job for their customers. He doesn't know that I was considering complaining on Yelp and Angie's List (actually I don't complain much, so I probably wouldn't have gone past considering it.) But now I want to go on record as saying I'm very impressed with this company. As a homeowner, it's important to keep a list of contractors whom you can trust. These people have ethics, company pride and integrity. They stood by their work when they didn't have to. They are my new go-to people for appliance repair help.

Robert, the Zajic technician, was on time and thorough. His technical knowledge is impressive and within about 1 hour he solved the problem, including cleaning the filters and clearing the water trap.. My LG dishwasher is operating as good as new. AND, I've had this dishwasher for nearly 5 years, it's actually one of the best dishwashers I've ever owned. I purchased it from Home Depot, including installation. The installation was inadequate and I had them back a number of times - the problem was never solved. Robert, from Zajic, told me how to repair the poorly done installation, which I can do easily on my own. Robert did no upsell me - how refreshing is that. Zajic and Robert are my go-to appliance maintenance professionals.

Justin came and was very nice and professional. He was in and out in 30min. The dryer had been screeching so loud the neighbors could hear it. I called and actually got a same day appointment!! I am very glad to have it fixed!!

Steve worked efficiently. He quickly identified the problem as a defective switch that made the washer think its lid was open, so it would not move on to the rinse/spin cycles. Since he did not take long to figure out the problem, the labor charges were low. The washer is 14 years old, so I thought I might have to replace it, but instead it was a quick repair and it is now working well.

Pete came out, and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Also cleaned the dishwasher seal and fixed the top drawer that was not pulling out easy. Kindly answered all my questions and explained what he was doing. Went beyond the reason for the service call and charged a reasonable amount. Arrived within the time window specified. Very professional, would use again.

We started having temperature problems with our refrigerator/freezer so we called Zajic. We picked them because they had good ratings on Angie's List. They were very friendly on the phone and sent a technician, Bryan, out the next morning. We really liked Bran. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem, which he fixed quickly and inexpensively. He didn't try to sell us parts or service we didn't need. We are very pleased with the fast, knowledgeable, and honest service we got. If I ever have appliance problems again, I'm calling Zajic.

I had a 2 hour window from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. He called at approximately 11:30 to say he was on his way. Pete had the available hoses and performed the replacement. He also tested for leaks. The job took 15 minutes.

The delivery person (Dallas) called when he was about 20 minutes away, well within the early period of the delivery window. He arrived right on time and in less than 20 minutes the old unit was removed and the new gas dryer installed with a new supply line and vent. Dallas explained the basics of how to operate the machine and was very polite and professional. The machine is fantastic, with a commercial build quality and simple accurate controls. Overall I could not be happier with this experience and can reinforce the excellent reputation that this company has. When the washer finally gives out I will be replacing it with a Speed Queen from Zajic. Believe me, this is the type of company you wish was more common. Honest, quality work, punctual and respectful.

Washing machine started to leak internally, and we assumed it was time for a new one. We contacted Zajic Appliances, and they were able to send out a repairman the following day. The repairman (Justin) arrived in the 2 hour envelope as promised. He promptly repaired the leak, but was able to determine that another problem had caused the leak in the first place. This was also repaired. We found Justin to be quite competent and professional in addition to being very friendly.

The first visit by Justin was actually on Tuesday 02/02. He arrived on time and easily confirmed why the drum was not spinning. Apparently the bad rotor problem is a common occurrence with the LG front-load machine with direct drive and LG has replaced the type of materials used in the rotor. The replacement rotor was ordered and installed on the following Friday 02/05. Justin again arrived on time and eagerly started working. Since I'm the inquisitive type, Justin enthusiastically showed me the difference between the old and new rotors and how the magnets function within the direct-drive system. He is very knowledgeable and cheerfully answered all my questions. The above cost of service includes the 10% discount for the Angie's List referral. I would definitely use this company for any appliance problems I may have in the future.

As always, Zajic Appliance did an outstanding job. We have a a 20 year-old washing machine (Kitchen Aide) that began to make a very loud "grinding" noise in all cycles. We spoke with the Zajic Service Department, and they promptly sent one of their fine technicians (Robert) to diagnose the problem. It was quickly determined that the gearcase and clutch were causing the noise. Robert advised that the washer was old but very well built. We decided to have the repair work done. Zajic obtained the needed parts and Robert fully repaired the washing machine. It now runs fine, and we have didn't have to purchase a much more expensive a new one. Over the years we have received outstanding repair service from Zajic on a variety of issues. The family company has been in business in Sacramento for many decades. Simply stated, you will not find a better or more honest appliance repair service anywhere. David Abelson

The washer died; I had to get a new one. They have been out and fixed the washer in 2013. They told me at the time it was not going to be a long term fix because it was very old machine. I have referred them to several people.

They were wonderful when the father did it. I think he died so the son bellied up with the business. It was a absolutely fabulous place to get my appliances for the past 50 years, I bought a washer and dryer before they went under. The refrigerator was defective in that it wouldn't keep the food cold, things would spoil and all that kind of stuff and they wouldn't do anything about it. I fought it for several years and went and actually volunteered at the senior hot line to figure out how to figure it out. I was really disappointed that Zajic, they wouldn't, they wouldn't help. I didn't notice right away when it was installed, it was brand new when they came but they were absolutely no help. I think I had to buy a warranty on that refrigerator and I didn't buy that. Well their parts department is A+++, they are wonderful in the parts department, but given my experience that they wouldn't stand behind the merchandise and I was stuck with a refrigerator that wouldn't keep anything cold, they've been there a long long long time, it's the same situation, when the father was there, when the son takes over, not so good. It came through the door defective. It came through the door defective. I just couldn't get the service from them. I would and do use the parts department all the time but not the products. It would be nice if they notified the customer that the unit doesn't work then tell the customer they need a warranty.

Outstanding service that was prompt, thorough, fast, professional and friendly by our technician. Called Zajic on Tuesday the 8th and tech was scheduled to arrive Friday the 11th, as this wasn't an emergency repair. Pete, the technician, arrived an hour earlier than scheduled! I told him we'd be purchasing a new washer/dryer set soon, but to please fix it to buy us some time. He surely did just that. Pete initially suspected it might be the transmission on this old washer, but he took it apart and diagnosed the problem as being the "driver"; thus saving lots of money. Fast service, diagnosis and repair by a friendly and knowledgeable service tech. Being such an old (18 yrs) washer, I was worried that a part(s) might be hard to come by, but he had the parts required to get this old washer working again! We are very pleased first-time customers who will surely call Zajic for future repairs on all appliances.

My washing machine had stopped working mid-load, water still in the drum. Found this company on Angie's list and was able to get someone to come out the next day. The tech came promptly and worked quickly. Turned out to be a simple lid switch issue. He was able to fix a similar issue on my dryer as well while he was at it. Would definitely look to them again should another appliance need repair.

I called Zajic Appliance on 11/17/2015 to schedule repair of my washing maching (12+ year old Kenmore front loader). I was offered appointments on any of the following four days, Wed-Sat. I scheduled my appointment for Thursday, today, and was told that I should call any time after 8 a.m. on the day of service to find out where I was on the schedule. So, I called this morning around 8:20 a.m. and was told I was first on the schedule (yeah!), and that Justin, the technician, would arrive before 10 a.m. but most likely close to 9 a.m. Justin arrived at 8:40 a.m. (even better). He discussed the problem with me, and got to work. Within 5-10 minutes, Justin identified the pump as the problem and gave me a quote of $202 for replacement. Lucky for me he had the replacement pump on the truck, and the new pump was installed just minutes later. Before leaving Justin also gave me a quick tutorial on cleaning between the rubber gasket and drum (toothbrush required!). Yuck! I mentioned to Justin that I'd recently had a very unpleasant experience with a plumber (no show), and had left a scathing review on Angie's List. I told Justin that I needed to be equally attentive to submitting reviews when all went well. For mentioning Angie's List, Justin extended me a 10% discount! As I sit here listening to the washing machine finish its first post-repair load, I couldn't be happier with Zajic's service...as provided by Justin.

Service went very well. Just as I stated above. Very pleasant experience. Steve was great. He even gave me some advice re: small parts purchase in the future. He also let know that Zajic has an in-house parts department.
