A major chain wanted over $100 to come see what the problem was. Zajic made a very quick appointment and diagnosed/repaired the problem on sight for less. My repairman, Dave, was fast and it didn't cost much. He explained to me exactly what had happened and what repairs he made. He also gave me some tips for future upkeep. Quick and painless. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Repairman arrived 10 minutes early, was at my house less than 20. He knew his stuff and pleasantly answered the questions I peppered him with, trying to understand what had gone wrong. I am a do-it-yourselfer and first went on-line looking for help with "Freezer Works, fridge not cooling". A bit frustrated, I had found lots of information, such as cleaning the coils (I did), replacing the air-diffuser (which I did), and the thermostat (I didn't). But not one place I found suggested it would be a relay switch from the compresser, which according to the repairman, is very very common and something he sees almost daily. He gave me the part afterwards, and the filaments inside were literally in pieces, which you could hear when shaking it - like a burnt out light bulb. The thing I found most educational was that just because the freezer is freezing, doesn't mean it is working right. A freezer should freeze at 0 degrees, even though "freezing temperature" is 32 degrees. The refrigerator is supposed to be at 40 degrees. So if the freezer goes down, say 20 degrees, the refrigerator side also goes down 20 degrees. A 20 degree loss on the freezer is still at 20 degrees, which is below "freezing temperature", but on the fridge side, the temp is at 60 degrees, and not acceptable to keep food cold. So my advice, is get a thermometer for your fridge/freezer, make sure the doors have been closed at least 1-2 hours, and if your freezer goes above 0, and you are having problems with the fridge side - call Zajic! They are my NEW appliance repair company. As for the cost. I didn't find them to be overly expensive, and had I not wasted the time trying to diagnose and repair, and the money buying a part I didn't need, I would've come out ahead financially, and could have worked on something else I could do. Call Zajic. Period.

Justin with Zajic Appliance Service was great! He fixed the problem with my washing machine very quickly. He was friendly and polite. This is the second time in the past two weeks I have had Zajic's fix an appliance and I have been very satisfied both times. I recommend Zajic's highly. Would definitely call them for future appliance repairs.

Our refrigerator "died" during a week-long heatwave. We were concerned that we would have to buy a new refrigerator because our refrigerator is so old. Luckily, Gary with Zajic came out, replaced a relay, and had our fridge up and running in no time. We will definitely call Zajic again if we need an appliance repaired in the future. Gary also offered some great tips for us if/when we buy a new refrigerator. Hopefully that will not be necessary anytime soon! Thanks Gary!

My experience with them was very good. They were prompt and revisited to do the installation when they said they would. They are reliable.

No problems or drama -- the tech diagnosed the problem and replaced the water pump. A very good experience.

These guys are dynamite. We became familiar with them when we had our kitchen remodeled and needed some warranty work on the new appliances - they were sent by the appliance retailer. We were so impressed with them on that job that we decided to call them when we wanted our washer and dryer inspected and serviced. The tech was timely, courteous and knowledgable. We had them out to do a service and inspection of our 13 year old Kenmore washer and dryer. They replaced the washer supply hoses, and inspected both units. We ended up getting new belts and pulleys in the dryer and a new coupler in the washer, as well as a full internal inspection and venting inspection. They did recommend a dryer vent cleaning (they don't perform full vent cleaning for roof exhaust dryer vents, such as ours). I will ALWAYS call only this company for appliance repair needs.

Zajic was very professional and punctual. I found their technician knowledgeable and courteous. About the only snag, was that they did not have the pump with them on the first day and had to schedule me for another day. I got a little scared because it took 2 days to get the first appointment, and then I was told that there wasn't an opening until the following week. However, the tech said that he would work with dispatch to squeeze me in for the next day, but when I called the main office to check in, i was able to schedule due to cancellations. I wish they had had the pump on the first day, this is why I gave them a "B" overall. It seems like they knew what was likely happening, so anticipating needing the pump would have prevented a second service day. Still, they did a great job and I would hire them again in a second. The "N/A" grade for quality is due to the fact that I don't know if the new pump is quality or not. I don't expect problems, but I just don't know.

Our fridge was leaking and I used Angie's List to find a large appliance repair service in our area. Zajic had the most positive reviews so I called them on the Tuesday after Memorial Day Weekend to find out if someone could come out to diagnose the problem. They were able to schedule someone later that same day. They diagnosed that there was a hole in our water hose and fixed the problem all within about 20 minutes. The charge? $90! The service person was extremely helpful and professional and I would definitely recommend them again.

While I could not use Zajic's because I needed same day refrigerator service, the experience was excellent and they were helpful in providing referrals.

I called Zajic on Tuesday because my washing machine wasn't working properly. They gave me a good diagnosis over the phone regarding the problem and said they could be out on Thursday to repair. I loved that I could call in the morning of the scheduled appointment and they gave me a 2 hour window. They then followed up with a phone call when they were on the way. They were prompt and timely. Fixed the problem and stayed true to their original estimate. I would definitely use them again!

Gary the repair man for Zajic came out to the house right on time. He immediately recognized that the water pump's bearings were shot. He had the new pump on the service truck and the repair was done under an hour. Gray ways very knowledgeable and professional. I picked his brain about other appliance issues. He definitely knows his craft. Before I make a new appliance purchase I am calling him for recommendations. Overall experience was fantastic highly recommend there services.

My dryer was running but would not heat. Unfortunately, I did not realize there are two circuit breakers for the dryer, one of which was tripped. The technician did not need to replace anything on the dryer. I think the service call fee was high since their shop is only about 10 miles from my home. I have used Zajic in the past and found them to be professional, prompt, etc.

.Went to the parts dept. and told them what the part # was and they need to order it from back east. Went back in 3 to 4 days and the part was there. Very helpful people .

The company and the repairman were responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. The repairman diagnosed the problem quickly, which required replacing a computer part that controls the defrosting in the freezer. He explained the issue thoroughly and was generous with answering my questions and offering suggestions. Very pleasant. I was happy to get my refrigerator up and running quickly with a minimum of hassle or cost.

The response time was good and they fixed the broken dishwasher part. The price was fair. I would use this company again.

We called late one day, and an appointment was scheduled the morning of the next. The repair technician, Pete, arrived on time, listened to the dryer in operation and informed us that the sound most probably did not indicate a serious mechanical problem, but rather was caused by some sort of material or string wrapped around the motor. We decided we didn't want to live with the loud sound and okayed a repair. To get at the cause required almost complete disassembly of the dryer, which Pete accomplished in what seemed to be a reasonable time. He found the cause and has he had predicted, it was caused by a static cling tissue caught in the motor's rotor blades. Throughout the repair, Pete was courteous, neat and friendly. Once the dryer was reassembled, he ran both dryer and washer to make certain all was well. This is the second time we have used Zajic, and it won't be the last.

The office staff was able to fit me in their appointment schedule. The repairman was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I was very impressed.

They came to inspect our refrigerator. The technician arrived and after a few checks found that the compressor had seized. He said it could be fixed, but the cost was more than we paid for the refrigerator itself.

They're very good. They seem to be very fair, but the first time they came out there was one part that they didn't have on their truck. They were coming back the next day to bring the part and they didn't ask for any part of the payment until they actually completed the job and that made it feel like they trusted us and I liked that. We were very happy with the quality of their work and that's why we went back to them to buy the microwave.

It went fine. He was on time; he wasn’t cheap but did a good job.
