It was go as plan and met the timeline schedule. They provided me a regular update throughout installation process. The company very customer focus and they are using there own employee for the work. I am very happy to used them and extremely pleased with their work and performance.

Perfect. Valley Solar handled all permits and all interactions with SMUD. They were on time, on schedule, on budget, cleaned up, and the system works exactly as advertised. I WILL definitely use them again for other services.

I loved Valley Solar, start to finish. They were courteous, punctual, professional. I never felt pressured to make a decision -- unlike my experience with Solar City (they harass you to part with your money before you have time to even think!) Kevin answered all of my questions with patience and good humor. The installation was quick and clean. Weeks later, when my home wifi had trouble finding the solar monitor, I had help within hours, at my house, until the problem was fixed. love them.

They installed the system when they said they would. There were no hidden costs. They take care of the whole project with in house crews and they were here in about a month from the time I signed the contract. All their workers were polite and careful around my house and garden. They have a very good company with Sunpower panels and are very knowledgeable about everything they supply. They connected my system online so I can monitor what is going on at any time and with my smartphone anywhere. If you are thinking solar make sure you give them a call .

The engineers showed up on time and did the prep work one afternoon and completed the installation the next day. I was very pleased with their promptness and professional work. They added additional insulation to the attic as was required by city codes plus a solar monitoring system so I can watch performance from my smart phone. The system consisted of 25 ea X20-250 Sunpower panels, each with their own microinverter. That made the installation very clean as no stand-alone inverter was necessary. Later the solar monitor was intermittent and after trying to fix it, they replaced it with no charge. I was very happy with the work and with the fact that everyone called before they came to the house and arrived when they said they would. All in all I am most pleased with the entire experience.

Great company and this is my second review. Has been a year now since we got solar and here is the final tally for cost and usage. This review is proof of the solar panels and there ability to provide what you need but this company is the best got 8 quotes and nobody knew there business like VALLEY SOLAR!!! Cost for the year to PG&E was about $767.00 and our cost for the solar panels which calculated the total cost after tax rebate which is right off the top of your taxes so a real 100% rebate. So cost of system after rebate about 16K Divided by 20 years= less than $70.00 month I rounded up from $66.66. Anyhow so pg&e cost and solar cost total for the year 2015 year 840.00+767.00= $1607.00 for the year & Kw use total was12855 2014 year paid in electric alone $3605.00 with Kw use of 13273 2013 year pain in electric alone $3951.00 kw use 14393 We did use 500 less kw this year but the savings was pronominal compared to prior years. Sunpower panels best on market did research for 8 months before purchasing. Also VALLEY SOLAR is AWESOME very honest, trustworthy and so professional. Highly recommend this company. There workers great and Brad owner so nice. Carl sales manager super. Can't say enough and very picky person so reviews like this are hard to come by. We were quoted the panels would make 8200 and they made almost 8400 so very accurate as to the panels and this is sunpower company makes this quote. We are installing a solar system at our home. I initially used Angie's List to select prospective bidders, and chose 3 to present bids. Valley Solar was the third. Brian Tsuda showed up promptly at the agreed upon time, but that is the only category I can give acceptable marks to. The presentation was extremely thin, there was uncertainty on his part as to the number of panels he was quoting, he never discussed the electronics (inverter, my existing fuse panel, locations of panels/equipment, etc). He spent more time telling me how much he liked East Sacramento. He also insisted that I could get a tax credit for 30% of the cost of my new asphalt roof just because I was also installing a solar system. Absolutely false. I was not impressed. The kicker came the next day when I emailed Brian to thank him for his time, however we had narrowed our selection to the 2 other vendors. Even after that I received 4 more emails from him. I had previously sent an email directly to Valley Solar informing them of my opinion of the bid process, so they are certainly aware. If my experience is representative of Valley Solar, I fail to see how they have received so many glowing reviews.

We went to a presentation at SMUD, and also consulted 3 other solar installers before choosing Valley Solar. I appreciated that solar was Valley Solar's only business, compared to a heating and air conditioning business that also does solar. Everyone was very responsive, and they even included an electric car charger for free. I felt they knew what they were doing, and if we had questions, someone got right back to us. Overall we are very satisfied with our system. If you are a SMUD customer and looking to get solar, SMUD will review your bids, analyze them, and give you a report.for free. They helped me understand what to look for in a bid.

warranty We had a solar system installed in 2008 by Yes! Solar. The inverter went out in December 2014. Yes! Solar had been sold to two other companies since our install. The Fronius inverter was under warranty but I had a very difficult time finding someone to switch out the old with the new. Happily, I found Valley Solar at the Home Show. They were willing to do the work. It was installed the day they received it from Fronius. Couldn't have been more pleased with their willingness, promptness and professional manner. We will definitely call them in the future if further work is required on our solar system.

This company is A+ all the way around. Sales person Carl so nice and honest. Owner Brad super and very knowledgeable and helpful. Workers great guys, neat, polite and very professional. Office staff super nice and efficient. With Solar we believe will save us lots of money and will know more in coming months on the production. It's January now and were in the fog for the last week so not to productive. When the sun is out working great. We also choose this company because of there review on yelp and Angie's list and they deserve great reviews as nothing was done that wasn't to our full satisfaction. Also Valley sells the best panels on the market. Best production and warranty. We have a cut up roof and these are the only panels that would have given us enough to really offset our huge electric bill. Will revisit this review later in the year and let you know how good our savings on solar really is. It's hard to know for sure but will get back to it and report on this. A++++ on this company and all the staff!! This is update company great if you need them for questions there there and has been 7 months now and saving so much money. July my bill was $38.00 and if you add cost of solar of $70.00 (amount less rebate divided by 20 years) makes the total of $108.00 and last July my bill was $568.00 What a savings!!! Horrible communication. I was scheduled for an installation this week and rearranged my work schedule to be home. Carl sends me an email with plans of my system saying that they will submit for permits and schedule again at a later date. UNREAL! After trying to get ahold of them and all I was getting back were emails. I would not recommend. Last email from sales rep after telling him of my disappointment... "Sorry to hear that Tim". No apologies what so ever.

From the very first meeting to completion of the job, Brad Price and his team at Valley Solar exceeded my expectations. I spoke with four different contractors before I consulted with Brad about doing the work. After meeting with Solar City and REC Solar and after doing some more research, I determined that I wanted to use SunPower panels for my system. Solar City and REC Solar do not use those panels. Hooked on Solar and Capitol City Solar do but I came away from their engineering evaluations with concerns about their assessments and recommendations for the install. Our home has a Spanish tile roof which is very fragile and an install on top of the tile would be a disaster. Capitol City's engineer was adamant on doing the install his way, on top of tile, despite the obvious concerns of his customer (Me!). When Brad come out to evaluate the job, it was obvious, right away, that he "got it". He told me what I needed to know and not what I wanted to hear. He gave me his professional recommendations which included installing a smaller system (24 panels/8 kW) than I originally wanted (27 panels/ 9 kW) because of the improved aesthetics the smaller system would have. He said that I could go with the larger system but that it wouldn't look the best and, more importantly to me, that he "wouldn't be proud of the job". He instilled confidence in me right away that he was the contractor that I wanted to work with. His lead installers Chris and Bob were excellent. I have since learned that the manufacturer (SunPower) uses Brad and Valley Solar to do the install on their commercial jobs as well as the installs on the homes of their employees.

We have been very pleased with the work they did and with the difference that it has made. They are very easy to work with, very responsive, and very professional. They explained everything they did and every step along the way so that we could understand it. We were just very pleased with their work.
