Great experience! The only problem we had was a cost home alarm wire which was resolved quickly and at no cost to us.

They were very professional and responded very quickly during the project. They took care of all the permitting process, came to the job at the exact time they said the would, completed work in one day and left the site clean. And always returned phone calls promptly.

We worked directly with the owner Brad and he designed and coordinated our project very professionally and detailed. His workers were very good other than leaving the job site with misc. nails, empty glue containers, water bottles etc...which we talked to Brad about our concerns leaving trash behind, we were overall very pleased with their services. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking in to getting solars put on their home, or at least put them on your bid research.

The whole process, from initial presentation to completion of installation, went better than I expected or even hoped for. The price was right and the performance I’m getting from the system is fantastic.

Everything was done very professionally from start to finish. During the installation, the temperature was over 100 degrees and one of the installers had an emergency and had to leave but the owner got on the roof to help, and they completed the job as promised on that day.

Valley Solar was helpful throughout the process and installs some of the best panels on the market backed by a 25 year parts and labor warranty. Can’t beat that. We’ve been happy with them for our Solar project and looking forward to a few decades worth of use for our panels!

The project went smooth and was completed in a timely manner. The company was very honest by selling me the appropriate number of solar panels that would be cost effective. This is not the company that will try to up sell you by placing panels on the north and east portions of your roof. The owner of the company showed up and filled me in on some of the details. He even took the time to help me move some of the items in my garage All of the employees looked and acted professional. The end product looked very nice with no wire/housing visible from the front of my residence. At the end of the project the employees picked up all of the debris. Awesome customer service.

Highly recommend this company if you are installing solar. They were professional, responsive and quick! The sales process was based in facts and was not pushy. Any time we had a question regarding the process, installation, etc., they responded within 24 hours. Any issues we ran into were resolved quickly and professionally. Continued to assist us with questions through our first year when we trued up with PGE. Great company!

Outstanding. We couldn't have asked for better quality, service, communication, or pricing than we got from Valley Solar. We interviewed and got bids from three companies. We found VS on Angie's. VS had the most competitive pricing and excellent service ratings, plus they were available in rural Yolo County. They worked with our schedule, which included some vacation time, and never missed a beat with us or with PGandE in getting our system in correctly and promptly. We cannot say enough good things about Valley Solar.

I do not usually post recommendations, but in this case, I believe that Valley Solar earned a five star rating. I obtained several bids for the project and Valley Solar beat their competition on price. They were great to work with from my initial contact with their sales consultant through project completion and sign off by the County Building Inspector. The installation team did a great job, nice clean installation of the solar monitoring station in the garage. I purchased Sun Power solar panels which, based on my research, are a top ranked panel.

Excellent. All employees at Valley Solar are top notch. My experience started with Brian who was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was the number one factor on why I chose Valley. The install crew was top notch too. They arrived on time and did an awesome job with the install. They cleaned up after themselves and i would never know they were there. Jose (?) came early the day of the inspection and was helpful and informative when setting up my equipment to the internet. Overall this is a A+++ organization and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

It went great for the most part. A few issues came up along the way such as county permits, but Valley Solar worked hard for us to get the job done. After the arrays were installed, they came out to make sure we were satisfied and personally went over monitoring and what to expect in the future. I especially liked that they came to our residence to talk to us when we had questions. They also offered the best warranty in the market, not only with the panels, but with installation and labor as well. I look forward to working with them in the future.

06/23/2014 From the very first meeting to completion of the job, Brad Price and his team at Valley Solar exceeded my expectations. I spoke with four different contractors before I consulted with Brad about doing the work. After meeting with Solar City and REC Solar and after doing some more research, I determined that I wanted to use SunPower panels for my system. Solar City and REC Solar do not use those panels. Hooked on Solar and Capitol City Solar do but I came away from their engineering evaluations with concerns about their assessments and recommendations for the install. Our home has a Spanish tile roof which is very fragile and an install on top of the tile would be a disaster. Capitol City's engineer was adamant on doing the install his way, on top of tile, despite the obvious concerns of his customer (Me!). When Brad come out to evaluate the job, it was obvious, right away, that he "got it". He told me what I needed to know and not what I wanted to hear. He gave me his professional recommendations which included installing a smaller system (24 panels/8 kW) than I originally wanted (27 panels/ 9 kW) because of the improved aesthetics the smaller system would have. He said that I could go with the larger system but that it wouldn't look the best and, more importantly to me, that he "wouldn't be proud of the job". He instilled confidence in me right away that he was the contractor that I wanted to work with. His lead installers Chris and Bob were excellent. I have since learned that the manufacturer (SunPower) uses Brad and Valley Solar to do the install on their commercial jobs as well as the installs on the homes of their employees. Went great. Had a few hiccups but Valley Solar representative Kevin took care of it swiftly.

It was wonderful. We had gotten bids from 4 companies and narrowed it to 2. Our electrician suggested Valley and we included them. All of the salesman were very polite and knowledgeable but Valley stood out. They had higher wattage panels so they could use fewer (22 vs 32). Every one we worked with, Kevin, John, Brad,Jose, and every one else were professional and attentive to detail. We were installing a metal roof at the same time and they coordinated with the roofers to install the brackets. All of the work is done in house and the quality showed. The Sun Power products had a great warranty. and their internet monitoring site is great. Valley Solar handled all of the permits, answered any of our questions thoroughly and promptly. They will also monitor our panels for the next 25 years to make sure they are working optimally. After the project was done, Kevin provided us with a binder that included everything every thing for us to reference. We recommend Valley Solar highly.

The sales team, engineering team, installation team, and the office team all were very professional and provided top quality service. It is a rarity to have so many units within a company perform at this highest level. The engineering team was prompt on doing the site survey and quickly adjusted the design to meet our specific site needs. The installation team was on time each day, worked in heat and delivered the complete installation on time. Their work was very professional and each member was courteous and explained the processes each day. They left the site each day clean of all rocks and packaging materials and made sure the site was property flagged when trenches were open. The sales team followed through after the installation to make sure we fully understood how the system operated and that we are completely satisfied with the installation. They also have a follow-up appointment with us in 4 to 6 months to review the efficiency of the system.
