TWO MEN AND A TRUCK

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! They are horrible. They took forever and were in no hurry. They took eight hours to move a 950 square foot apartment. We called to complain about how long it took and the men being rude. They sent extra crew to help and then charged an extremely high price. When we disputed the price and told them their staff was incompetent and rude, they offered a 5% discount. When we told them that price was still too high and would not pay almost $1000.00, they told us that if we didn't take the offer they would sue us for three time the amount of the original price (1100.00). They're the most rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional people we have ever worked with and regret ever hiring this company.

I hired Two Men and a Truck to assist me with a move to the Bay Area. In the course of the move my couch was damaged because the movers decided to put a bag of tennis raquets inside the couch and then shrink wrap it. Upon arrival, the couch was unwrapped and had black scuff marks along the backing where the grips from the raquets had rubbed all over the upholstery. Look, mistakes happen but when the company only offered me $93 to compensate me for the damage, I felt like it was unreasonable. I offered to get them estimates for the cleaning but they refused to take that route. In fact, they refused to offer me any compensation beyond the $.60/pound policy that comes with their services. They also broke the glass in my antique china hutch. However, that was not a professional miststep, it was a sincere accident because they took every precaution possible but it was old and very fragile. The issue with the couch was completely their fault and I felt that the way that they handled it was a big mistake in customer service. Buyer beware...if they make a less than professional decision on how to pack/transport your belongings, you will be the one responsible for repairs because they will not take responsibility for their unprofessional actions.
