The company called about 30 minutes ahead to let me know they were on their way. Glenn arrived and I showed him the clogged toilet. He got the snake equipment and cleared it in about 5 minutes. When I asked if he took credit cards, he very kindly said this one is free. He suggested I get a new toilet.

For the last 25 years had to have a plumber clean my main sewer line annually. Upon finding this company I had them install a new main drain with NO DIGGING in my yard, due to trees and the roots they have. SINCE then I have had no problems at all. I waited this long to have proof of the effectiveness of their work, and product. I completely recommend this service !

The company was very responsive, and sent a technician within two hours of our call. We really appreciated their responsiveness since we called a few other companies first that said "24 hour service" that refused to serve us because they only had one technician on duty in another area and no availability (why advertise you do 24 hour service if you only have one person on call?). This wasn't a problem with The Trenchless Co., so we had Martin out in a short period of time to do the cleanout. He did the cleanout properly, from the outside, and cleared the clog. The price was exactly as advertised - $99 for the drain cleanout - and we were very happy. We'd definitely use the company again if this occurs in the future. We will call them first next time!
Description of Work: The drain from our back bathroom, which includes both a toilet and shower, was repeatedly clogging. We had another company come out to fix it but they did not do a proper job, resulting in sewage backing up into the shower drain and bathroom at about 10 pm on a Sunday night.

Rental property continued to have problems with the sewer line. I chose a section repair as it was the least expensive remedy. The crew showed up on time and promptly made the repair. Time will tell how successful the repair will be but I feel confident. They were easy to work with & coordinated with the tenant also.

(member name removed), Thank you for taking thie time to review our company. Our goal is to provide option to our customes to solve their ongoing plumbing problems at a price they can afford. It sounds like in you case you chose a spot repair option. This is a great cost effective option when the issues are isolated to a specific location within the sewer line. You should be good to go if we took care of the most effected area of the serew line. Our techs are trained to identify and inspect sewer lines to offer the best options for each situation. Thanks again for the feedback! We appreciate your business. Sincerely, Max Greenberg Owner- The Trenchless Co.

The camera wasn't working right, and they didn't let me know where the clogs were. They broke through the major clog, but about a month, it was clogged again and I ended up taking care of it myself. """"MUST READ THIS UPDATED COMMENT POSTED (01/28/2014)"""" Re: The Trenchless Plumbing Co. The day after my recent posted rating on Angie's list of subject company, the owner (Max) called me to hear first hand why I was not completely satisfied with their services. After stating the complete scope of services performed by his technician, I added that the technician's manner and job knowledge was not in question as he performed professionally. I did say however, that I thought the scope of the work performed was not worth the amount charged for the job in my estimation. After hearing my step by step account of work performed, Max assured me that the scope of work actually performed, was well above what the advertised cost for "that" service should have been. Max reiterated his regret that I felt less than satisfied and wanted to know how he could regain my confidence in his company. I then admitted, that my expectations for what the cost should have been for the services received were perhaps not realistic. Without my demanding anymore on his part or of his company, he said that he was going to reimburse me the total amount that I paid for the services. In addition to the total reimbursement, Max is sending out a technician to re-camera my waste line and pin point if necessary any other possible problem areas that might be present in the line. This also at no charge, to give me piece of mind. All I can say is this is a company that takes pride in it's product and desires to satisfy it's customers (they not only talk the talk but walk the walk). In retrospect, I would not hesitate to highly recommend The Trenchless Company for your plumbing problems knowing that they want to satisfy you, "The Customer". Another satisfied customer! ********* Posted Update 02/06/14 ********* 01/28/14 Received fully paid reimbursement ($175.00) 02/05/14 A Trenchless Co.Technician arrived as promised and re-camera'd entire waste line mapping and marking on the ground exact areas where root invasions exist. Upon completion, I was given a comprehensive written proposal with three alternative solutions based on my plumbing situation. Each scenario included firm/fixed pricing for me to consider at my convenience. (a note stating "all above quoted prices reflect 10% discount". I almost forgot about the one year "No Clog Guarantee" provided me (2/5/14 to 2/5/15) based on my initial Camera & Unclogging procedure which they performed, even after returning my full charged price which turns out to be a free service. (with guarantee) after their reimbusrsement. I would be remiss if I didn't say thanks to Max, Brenden and Laird for making my experience with the Trenchless co. the best business encounter I have ever had. I hope your keeping mindful of the time line, because ou can see it doesn't take them long to respond when they make a commitment. 02/06/14 Yes! the relationship continues even till today: I just received a priority mail, a box containing cookies and a card that reads ; "Our goal is always to exceed your expectations; however sometimes we fall short and make a mistake. Thank you for helping us to improve our customer service procedures and for your continued faith in our company ". NOW, DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS: " Is this a company that aims to please or not?"

I called about 1 pm today, 1/20/14. This company sent out Kinney Misener to clean the drain within an hour. He explained the problem, fixed it and explained how to prevent the problem in the future. Gave me the name of a product to use on drain monthly. There was a lot of water that came out of the drain when he loosened the pipe. But he brought in the shop vac to clean the water up.

Martin and Laird were awesome. They arrived less than 1 hour after I contacted the office for a non-emergency call? THATS IMPRESSIVE! Both men were completely professional, knowledgable, informative, and friendly. We have an unusual home, but that didn't get in their way, after a short time of problem solving they had my drain clear and running freely. My husband and I were very impressed by the Trenchless Co. team. We initially hired one of their competitors to come out to snake a monster clog that was lodged way down the line from a drain connected to a utility sink and our washing machine. They came out on Thursday afternoon, couldn?t fix it, told us our septic was failing and charged us $108 for their time. We had our septic pumped the same day (by another company) and it appears to be functioning properly. I called the competitors to come back out on Sunday (they are open Sundays) and got their message machine which assured me someone would call back within 30 minutes. I didn?t hear from them until Monday around 4:30 p.m. When I didn?t hear back from them Sunday within the window they specified, I decided to find another company because I was desperate to get that drain clear so that we could do our laundry. I?ve heard ads for the Trenchless Co. on the radio and I saw the favorable reviews on Angie?s List. When I saw the $99 Rooter Special with camera inspection on their website, I decided to call. I spoke with one of their operators and set up an appointment. She said someone could be out 6-8 p.m. that day. She later called and said that there?d been an emergency and they couldn?t make it until after 8 p.m. We decided to schedule for the next day instead, but the fact that they were willing to come out after 8 p.m. for no extra charge was very impressive! Especially on a Sunday! Their operator called the next day within the window specified to let us know that the technician would be arriving within 30 minutes. When their technician Marc showed up, we were confident that he would solve our problem. As homeowners, we?ve had to call professionals for various services and over the years we?ve learned you never know who?s going to show up. In most cases, it?s not someone we?d care to hire again. Marc was the opposite! He was friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and determined to find a solution for our clogged drain. He tracked the clog to the end of the line, cleared the pipe and even cleaned up afterward! Because of him and their helpful and diligent operators, the Trenchless Co. will be the first company we call whenever we need plumbing services!

They scheduled easily and were on time. When I called, made it clear I had just purchased the house, on a budget, wanted the $99 drain cleaning with camera Angie's List special they advertised. Told them - in advance - the house was built in 1950, no clean-out, work would have to be performed where toilet is attached. Operator says no problem.|Instead of service, I got a hard sell full of half truths and omissions; I was so disgusted I declined and accepted an estimate. Drain is still slow, haven't had time to find a different company. The full narrative: immediately in the door He: "have to find a clean-out, you don't want that dirty machine in your nice house." Me: (knowing they do) "don't you have a covered machine?" He dodges the question (because the answer would have been yes) and says he needs to look outside. We find: no cleanout on the house which I had already told them. First sale point "need to install a cleanout right here, costs about $400, will pay for itself because blah blah..." I say no. He moves to outside property line and finds the county cleanout; second sale point "I've been on (named my street) before, they installed 'Orangeburg' pipes here; they're paper based and flatten out and get blocked. Your really should reline your whole pipe ("you're 'lucky' most homeowners have 60-70 feet to fix") blah blah. $8 - $900. I point out the very obvious "the county just installed their cleanout when I bought the house, how can they connect a new pipe to a 'flattened egg shaped' pipe. Loooooooong pause. "They just set them against one another - they don't care." At this point, definitely heard enough, know who and what I'm dealing with, say no. More pushing, probing. I say "let's forget it." He finally says "it's not a good idea but we can do through the water closet (their term for toilet) but you have to remove it yourself." Me: "that's easy, it's disconnect the water supply and remove two bolts (I had installed it myself). He: "that's our policy, I can do the cleanout but the homeowner has to remove the toilet and reinstall it themselves." Truth was I could have had it out before he got in with his tools, but at this point I was so disgusted I just wanted him to leave. I stated I "would think about it" he said let me leave you an estimate, wrote it up and left. That was it. Terrible experience; I'm experienced enough with plumbing to know I was being played, feel very badly for all those that aren't (or find the idea of removing a fixture themselves very intimidating.) |

He came at the appointed time. I showed him where the clean out plug was and he proceeded to unblock the sewer drain. Then he used his video cam to check for any damage. He was polite and professional and the whole procedure took less than thirty minutes and he was on his way to the next job. I was very pleased. The first company I called spent 25 minutes trying to sell me on other services including maintenance on my HVAC system. I finally told the salesman to leave. I told the lady who answered the phone at the Trenchless company that I was only interested in having my sewer unblocked and not interested in other services. So, unless you are interested in other services and want to listen to their sales pitch, I would suggest that you warn them upfront.

We had tried cleaning the drain ourselves through the 2" cleanout in the basement with no luck. Brendan with the trenchless company came out tried cleaning it, but soon realized that something was odd so we sent the camera in for a look and realized that the 2" went to 4" and there was no 4" cleanout. So he found the line, dug it out and since the line was ceramic we broke the pipe so he could clean the line and run the cameral the full lenght of the pipeline. Fortunatley, it was mostly in good shape. He ran us through different options and we opted for fixing it ourselves - put in a 4" cleanout so we could maintain the line. All in all it was a good experience. My only problem with them was the scheduling was less than stellar. The people answering the phone did not return calls and the first time they were scheduled to come out no one called or showed up. I did get them out on the second try.

The initial call was made Tuesday, 10-21-13. They offered immediate service but I requested a morning appointment the following day. The only scheduled openings was a window from 6am to 8am. After waiting until 8am I called their service center and was told that the appointment was actually for 6pm. Although fairly confident that I am not a total idiot (after emphasizing a morning slot) I agreed to have them do the service at 6pm (a two hour window, 6-8pm). Again, no show. The work went well. Did the inspection one day and showed me blockage using a TV probe. All three of my underground pipes were blocked (suspected that since I saw no water coming from the outlets last winter during the rains). Came back a second day to hydro-jet out the underground pipes. The work took about an hour and a half. What I liked best was no pressure to do the clean out (the inspection was free). The representative, Glenn, gave me a written bid for the work and suggested I compare prices with other plumbers. Glen worked fast and efficiently. The company called the following Monday to make sure I was happy with the work.

The initial assessment went very well. Joe came out and put a camera in the line to determine all the sections that contributed to our drain problem. He was very easy to work with and his estimate was fair. The actual work was completed a week after the initial estimate; a one day delay on starting the job and several additional days because of extra work I authorized. However, there was good communication throughout.

First day they never showed up. I received a call...it appeared that the tech forgot something and instead of going back and picking it up they opted to reschedule. I blew a day waiting for them was the end result. We scheduled next day...the technician came out...was very courteous and professional and did a fine job. A job well done. But like I said...it seemed a bit pricey. But then, I had to leave. I asked technician if I can go, "Do you want my credit card" I asked. he said the office would call. I am a busy man. I got a call maybe four months later from a quite rude woman asking if I was going to "Own Up" for my debt. I think that was her words. I was really disappointed that her error for not charging me, was substituted for her accusing me of failing to pay for service. I told her I couldn't remember if I did or I did not however I pay my debt and calling me four months later doesn't help me remember whether it was done or not. To make matters worse I was on vacation and could not verify anything. I was in the forest camping in another state. She really was horrible to accuse a customer of failing to pay. She should have been apologetic for not charging when I was willing to give a credit card on day one and furthermore apologizing for troubling with me months later with her accusatory attitude. Not happy after that discussion.

Hi (member name removed), I totally understand the impact of taking time to meet with us has on your schedule and I’m really sorry we didn’t make our original appointment. It’s tough taking time out of your schedule once, much less twice for a service call. Thank you for giving us a second chance and I’m glad to hear that you were happy with the service once we were on site. With regards to billing, we agree that our technician should have taken your credit card info when you offered – it is our policy to collect either payment or credit card information for all COD service calls since cash flow is so critical to us as a small business. I double checked, and the notes in our system from the technician indicated that our office should call you for your credit card info. Not that it was the case in this situation, but our office sometimes deals with customers who attempt to avoid payment. Unfortunately, they mistook not having your credit card number available when they spoke with you and the weeks that had elapsed as an attempt to avoid payment instead of simple bad timing while you were on vacation. I’m sorry that we took a more aggressive approach based on our misunderstanding and really appreciate your feedback so that we can understand the situation. Best! Max Greenberg

We recently had a sewer issue. A plumber we called referred us to The Trenchless Co due to being out of town. I called the Trenchless Co early in the morning and was told by Michelle that she thought she may have an 8:00-10:00 AM appointment available but had to confirm upon her arrival to the office within 45 minutes. She called, confirmed the appointment. Martin the plumber arrived on time. He checked the City trap and confirmed that the sewer issue was in our lines. He looked for our trap but was unable to locate it due to being buried. We live in a tract house. He went next door, located the neighbors trap, took measurements, came back to our house and began using a probe to locate our trap. During this time, he explained to me in detail the different processes so I was aware of the complete situation at hand, possible solutions, costs involved, which I greatly appreciated. He was very diligent and eventually found our trap! He took out his video camera, located and unplugged the clog. He viewed and showed me both directions from the trap. I saw that our lines were in very good condition. I was very grateful for Martin's diligence, detailed explanations, possible issues and solutions. Most of all, I appreciated Martin's honesty and his commitment to provide excellent customer service. Michelle later called back to inquire about the service provided. I was very pleased with the professionalism displayed by both Martin and Michelle and highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Search for the buried trap to the main sewer line and unplugged the clog.

After having problems with the plumbing company our home buyers warranty sent out, we called Trenchless Company out cause the other company couldn't find the intake valve out in our yard. Joe from Trenchless Company came out, found the valve out in the yard using a camera he ran through our kitchen sink outlet. Again the other company wouldn't even look let a long use a camera. Once he found that we did indeed have an intake valve, he found it and began the work to unclog our drain. Everything went smoothly when Joe came out and completed the job which we expected of the other plumbing company.
Description of Work: Searched for the intake out in the yard and cleaned out the clogged pipe
