Outstanding!!! -- Stone and Beyond was outstanding in every respect. (A) The Estimate: The owner, Judy, arrived on time to prepare an estimate and offer helpful suggestions. She was a delight to work with from beginning to end. The estimate was provided quickly, and the price was very reasonable (we got three estimates and Stone and Beyond was the best!!!) (B) The Measurements: The co-owner, Ben, arrived on time to prepare the measurement template. He listened carefully to our requests, made several excellent suggestions, and prepared a perfect template. (C) The Quartz Material: Judy and Ben obtained two beautiful slabs of quartz at an outstanding "contractors" price (from Arizona Tile Company.) (D) The Installation: Angel and his helpers arrived on time, work steadily, and did a perfect installation of the new countertop and sink. When they finished the kitchen was clean and beautiful. (E) Summary: If you need new countertops, you will not find a better company in the Sacramento region to hire. Stone and Beyond was OUTSTANDING in every respect. Our thanks to Judy, Ben and Angel for a job well done!!!

Stone and Beyond did an excellent job of working with us. We found the granite we wanted after a protracted search that required many slabs for this project. Judy is very helpful and willing to work with you. Angel and his team did a good job of working the installation. Ben did a great job of laying out the templates on the slabs to achieve a matched effect of the flow of the granite so that the seams were less evident. Overall, the work was well done with few, if any issues. One recommendation for those who choose this company is to be sure to increase communication and verify all times for meetings, modifications, agreements and follow ups. Sometimes communication between individuals in the office did not happen as would be expected and was discovered later.

I got bids from 3 other companies but stone & beyond gave me the best price, My main contact was Emily who was very knowledgeable attentive to detail returned phone calls promptly. Workers who came to my home were efficient competent & professional work was done on the dates I requested and everyone did a great job. I am very pleased with stone & beyond.

This was not an easy install but the crew from Stone & Beyond did an excellent job for us. We love the way it looks! I was very impressed that they managed to design this job so that there were a minimum number of seams. Even the seams that are present are almost impossible to spot. The initial sales associate in the show room helped us pick out the material and then provided a detailed estimate about what this would cost. Judy Lay, the Sales Manager, provided the final level of expertise and advice and made sure our job went flawlessly. Honestly, we couldn't be happier. We picked out this company based upon the amazing reviews in Angie's list and I am certainly glad we did!

I visited the showroom and was assisted in my selection of quartz for my new counter top for the kitchen. I was given a sample of the quartz to take home to confirm the color and then return. the installers cam twice, first to measure and second to install. the positive and supportive assistance was very much appreciated.

Thanks for your follow-up rescheduling the granite cooktop cut. Ben and Jose did a fabulous job. Asking questions about what I wanted and working cautiously and efficiently. Ben inserted the gas cook top to be sure the fit was perfect. All I had to finish was connect the gas line and plug in the igniter cord.Again, thanks for the super service.

Ben and Judy were great to work with. They walked us through the whole process, helping us in choosing our granite, laying out the templates on the granite, letting us know what each step entailed. They came in one day to remove the old countertop and measure for the templates. Judy met us to assist in the final selection of the granite. We met at their facility to lay out the templates on the granite to our satisfaction. The installation went smoothly, and the plumbing needs were completed. We were very pleased with their service, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Would definitely contact them again when we are ready to do the bathrooms.

Both Judy and Nicole were very helpful and responsive throughout the process as I made my decisions. I purchased my 2 slabs from Arizona Tile through Stone & Beyond. Arizona Tile advised that I select a third slab as a backup just in case one of the other broke.... which it did on the day of fabrication after we had placed the templates. I don't fault Stone & Beyond for this as I understand this can happen but it does not happen often from what I am told. I was notified right away that we needed to use the backup slab and I went back to their shop to lay the templates. The cost of the additional slab is not the customers responsibility. I would have given them A's across the board had it not been for an error in the measuring and templating process... which is a rather major part of the puzzle. On the day of install the largest section of the kitchen counter was about a half inch short of reaching the wall. The only fix was to cut another half inch piece of granite to fit in the gap. This created a seam that was not needed. I was disappointed as the reason I selected this fabricator was because I believed their expertise would never allow for such as mistake. The reason for the B in the Professionalism rating is there was not much of an apology or even recognition that they made an error. I also expected a price break of some sort but nothing was offered.

Stone & Beyond did a fantastic job. Our new granite countertops are gorgeous, beautifully cut and polished. Everyone involved, from Judy Lay to Nicole at the office to the demolition/ installation team and Derak Hextell, who did the plumbing work, was professional, expert, and generous with their help and advice. We will soon be having Derak install our new tile backsplash. We contracted with Stone and Beyond after seeing the reviews on Angie's List and comparing Judy Lay's detailed estimate with that of another Angie's List business. Judy was extremely helpful and efficient in finding the granite we could not locate locally and providing us with style choices. The demolition team arrived promptly and did their work--removing old counters and measuring-- efficiently and quickly; in a few hours the work was done and the place left clean. The installation was also painless and the result is terrific.

The crew came and demolished existing countertop. They were quick and prompt. It would've been good to know that we'd be responsible for touch-up paint. But they did a beautiful job in fabricate the quartz and the cut-out sink flush. Install was great.

Judy was very helpful in the planning of our new countertops. She found ways for us to save money and give us the best looking kitchen we could possibly get. She was a dream to work with. We are very happy with out countertops and can't wait until we are able to put our custom island in.
