SHEcan2

I followed this contractor all the way up to the proposal stage. The bid price was at least $10,000. The decision on who to use came down to an above manager making a decision not to proceed with the project. The decision had nothing to do with what they did as a company. They exceeded expectations in customer service, response and proposal.

They worked with me to repair the worst areas and stay within my budget. Very personable and professional.

They got off to a quick start (their availability was partly why I chose them), but then things got bogged down. The end result was minimally acceptable. The good: 1. A quick start got things moving very quickly. 2. All the team members I encountered were nice folks and seemed to care about the work they performed. Generally, a nice group of folks to work with. 3. They hauled away some trash I had gathered along with their dump run (at no additional charge) 4. Everything but the shower was fine The bad: 1. Their time to complete the job was much longer than estimated. 2. Communications initiated by SC2 were minimal. I often felt I didn?t know what the status was, even though I worked there most days on other aspects of the house. 3. The material in the shower enclosure did not buff out the way it should have. The countertops looked great, but the shower walls were marred by many dull spots and imperfections. 4. Seeing the finished shower walls and watching the glass installation, leads me to believe they are working with two sub-standard suppliers (cultured marble and glass). The bottom line: Terri agreed the shower walls were sub-standard (though she never saw them) and I believe she may have been willing to replace them; however, I did not have the luxury of investing that much more time again before renting the unit. Instead, I agreed to accept a token reduction in the price just to be done with it. If I had to do it again, I?d try another service provider. While the SC2 team is a nice bunch, I?d have to rate competence as more important than being nice. As an aside, I asked them to come by my residence on 10/31 to look at some siding that needed to be repaired. Matt came by, took photos and measurements, and said he?d follow-up with a bid via email NLT early the following week. It?s now been two weeks with no follow-up on their part. I?m not sure if this goes back to the communication I referred to above, professionalism, or simply a lack of interest. Regardless, I had another provider perform the work today. He did a great job.

I found her from Angie's List. The young lady came and worked with me. She talked to the owner. They gave me some advice and discussed what I was trying to do. A crew of 2 workers came out to do the work every day. It took them about 3 to finish. They were nice, friendly and hard workers. We ran into problems and they came up some solutions fast. They were doing a remodel we ran into some situations where we couldn't do what I wanted, but they were able to make a solutions that I was pleased with.

Did not complete contact because business was too busy to do work in the time frame.

It went great! Terri came out to do the initial estimate a couple of days after I called. She sent an estimate about a week later, which I accepted. She sent out another employee to do a second measurement and then ordered the window. The window took about 2 weeks to come in, but they were here to install within a couple of days of it's arrival. Unfortunately, the first window didn't fit properly, so a second one had to be ordered. No one's fault really, just one of those 'Murphy's Law' type things. The second window arrived in about 10 days and was installed 2 days later. The crew did a great job! All the employees that I dealt with were top notch. They were professional, courteous, on-time, cleaned up completely when they were done, and were all-around nice people. The window is high quality and looks great! The stucco work was just a small patch, but they did an excellent job of that too! I would most definitely use Shecan2 again.

There was a misunderstanding with what they had done. I requested to have the stairs stained on the exterior of the unit; the worker had painted them instead. She responded all too well, but she hasn't contacted us in regards to correcting the mistake. The services were impeccable, but we have yet to hear back in regards to fixing this issue.

Considering we really didn't need them...we appreciated that they didn't try to sell us something we didn't need.

Terri arrived promptly on time. She took her time looking over the job and made several helpful suggestions. I am not quite ready to start the work yet, but I am seriously considering using the services of SHEcan2.

Wayne at SheCan2 came out and inspected our homes foundation. We were very impressed at his detailed knowlege and the advice he gave us. The company was highly recomended to us and though we did (after much debate) end up going with another company we would have been very confident with SheCan2 repairing our foundation. I believe the quoted price for the project was fair especially considering the work they were going to do.

Very disappointing. Based on Angies List reviews, and a personal recommendation from a friend I contacted the company. Needed about $15,000 work done on bathroom remodel, Sheetrock, floors etc. Met w estimator (Terry was supposed to be there too, but no showed). Still, I liked the estimator. I thought, terrific, he's a straight shooter. He spent lots of time w me, and provided the estimate was right, I was ready to go. They didn't call me back. I wait, then called to remind them. "I'll have our scheduler get back to you.", he said. Five days later I get a call to schedule demo. I'd already engaged someone else rather than wait again for a call back that might not happen. But since the demo was done, they were going to come over to give estimate. No call. Crickets. P*****, but still hopeful based on reviews, I call. "I'll call you back in 20 minutes, " he said. Nothin. So basically I wasted more than a week waiting on call backs that never happened. If you can't do the work, don't want to do the work, or are too busy, the professional response is to indicate that to the client, not string them along. I didn't give them an F because I thought their new estimator was really cool, and wonder if the response problems have to do with organization within the company. My recommendation is, if you plan to deal with this company, get simultaneous estimates from other companies, because the follow through w SheCan2 is 0.

No one ever even bothered to call me back.

I called the number listed and they called me back within two days. I emailed them my house plans for them to review before they came out to the property on 8/27/13 and have yet to hear from them. I understand they may be busy but at least call and give me a heads up. I was left hanging.

First of all, the Angie's List reviews are spot on This company is top quality, from beginning to end. We are thrilled with, not only their skills, but their problem-solving abilities. And their attention to detail is astounding. They are cheerful, professional and honorable. And they will not rest until the job is completed with the highest standards in mind. I hired them because of the reviews on Angie's list. And I would highly encourage you to hire them as well if you want top-knotch, reliable work.

Terri Harris was very professional. She was honest and did everything she said she would do. Her crew was in and out in a couple of days. Their work was done quickly and efficiently.

My journey with SHECan2 began with a meeting with Terri and her estimator, Matt. I liked them right away, and they had a great idea about what to do with the door to my small bathroom -- put it as an exterior "pocket" door -- like a barn door. I had very specific ideas about what I wanted my bathroom to look like -- for it to be transformed from mid-century suburban tract home (non) chic to a New England beach cottage bathroom. Matt took excellent notes on every detail. I purchased all the materials myself online, and stored them in the garage until the work was ready to begin, which it did on July 16. We were hoping for a two-week completion but these things never go quite as planned... I can't say enough good things about Steve, one of the guys who did much of the work. He was friendly, engaging, hard-working, and really dedicated to his craft. Brent was also very good -- more laid back, but also hard-working and did a great job. Matt stayed in touch throughout the work, and Terri checked in a couple of times. As is often the case with contractors, there were a couple of days that I was expecting them when they got caught later on other jobs than they expected. But, as a person who teaches customer service for a living, I know that the proof is in how one handles a customer who is disappointed, and they handled it very well to ensure I wasn't disappointed again. There were a few little things I wanted fixed, but given the many, many details involved, this is nothing. Here is something you need to know: they would not take the last installment until even the smallest detail was done to my satisfaction. It seems it would have been easy for them to say "we've done 99.9% of the work" and take the last check (which was sitting on the table for them). But, they didn't until Steve came over this week and did a very small touch up. I can barely describe how beautiful my bathroom is -- it is TRULY transformed. I did the design, but SHECan2 brought it to life. It's the bathroom I've been dreaming about for YEARS, and now I have it. Every time I go in there, I marvel at its beauty. I wish I could post pics! A very important thing to recommend Terri and her crew: on the day Terri and Matt came to give me the estimate, Terri told me to call with any questions at all, and told me that even if it meant I didn't select them, that was okay. It took me about three weeks to get all my estimates together, during which time I contacted them several times. They were always friendly, took the time to answer my questions, and stayed in touch with me. A really impressive experience!!

It went great. Terri and the folks at She Can 2 are polite, professional, and trustworthy, everything you need from a contractor.

It went well. Terry Harris, the owner of the company, came out to meet me and review the project with a couple of her assistants. we kicked around a few ideas as to the best way to proceed and what repairs were required. We agreed on a tentative price depending on the material cost. The project took longer than initially planned due to a couple of minor roadblocks, but Terry's final price was fair and I was satisfied with the work that was done. The crew that worked the project were personable and hard working. They helped me in every way they could to keep the costs down and I appreciated that. They hauled off the old debris and cleaned up after themselves. I would use Terry and her crew again in the future.

Responsive, cut cost when job was less than expected, excellent quality repair to archway, corrected mistakes of Lytle Construction. I'm very satisfied and will recommend highly.

No personal contact or work was performed.

I got her on a recommendation from my neighbor who had used her also. They were professional, they were efficient. I mean the quality of their work was excellent. Anything that you want, a positive adjective you can use towards them. I mean she was the type that she came out and I asked for a bid and she said it will be three weeks before I can even come over and get started. Okay, three weeks she was here, she called before she came and she said I and my man will be out there at eight o'clock tomorrow, eight o'clock she was here. I mean outstanding.

Terri Harris, of Shecan2 was punctual and the first contractor to respond to my request for an estimate. She was experiencing some growth pain of initiating a new computerized format for providing estimates. I believe MS Harris is very good at her vocation and presents herself very professionally but her proferred estimate was considerably higher than the other 2 bids I recieved. For this reason I selected another Anjie's List contractor.

Responded promptly, provided very clear, complete estimate and acted with professionalism at all time. We ended up selecting another vendor, but have nothing but positive impression of SheCan2.

They did a great job, they worked quickly, and stuck to the estimate.

Terri came out and gave me an estimate, we scheduled the date & Bret of SHEcan2 came to do the work. He did a great job we are very pleased with the work that was done & I would use them again and refer them to family & friends.
