We found signs of water intrusion when we began pulling off the old musty smelling painted-over wallpaper which came off (too) easily in large sheets. Our roof was replaced 8 years ago so we were sure the damage was not from that source. However, at that same time we also had the exterior walls insulated with cellulose blown in through holes drilled through the stucco from the outside. When we examined the exterior wall of the bedroom we noticed some of the plugs used to fill the holes were beginning to pop out slightly and suspected this was a source of slow water seepage. We were right. When the contractors, Terry and Steve, pulled off the interior drywall and insulation light could be seen around some of the plugs. They patched all the holes in the wall, even those that appeared water tight. They also found and repaired the source of water seeping in around the windows. The new drywall, baseboard and crown moldings look great. We did the painting ourselves. We did have to call Terry back the next day when we realized we could not completely close one window. It was an easy fix and she took care of it immediately. Terry and Steve were great to work with.

Terry and crew always arrived on time, did the work they planned to do, cleaned up after themselves, and finished the job in a timely manner. They were competitively priced and easy to work with. Very professional.

Her carpenter did a very good job. I was pleased with it. It was very expensive, but I felt that they did everything right. It is difficult to get people nowadays because they are busy. They had to have an electrician come in that caused so much money and wires had to be changed and the electrician was in for about an hour or may be hour and a half at the most. I noticed they charged for the electrician the whole time. They had to handle heavy stuff. I thought they did a good job and it looks it all time and they had to fill in a hole too. They cleaned up everything afterwards. I thought they did a neat job, but their cost was very high.

Terri and her crew were punctual and professional. The work performed showed a very high degree of skill and experience, and the color matching for touch-ups was impeccable. They were an absolute delight to work with, and I'd recommend them to anyone any time.

I already have going over our project and we talk in details exactly what we're gonna do. We're gonna have somebody follow-up with us and they never did. That was kind of disappointing. Nobody got back with us. We never had the follow-up service. We never had heard a word or anything back from them. They were very professional and very accommodating. I have no idea what happened to them. I won't use them because it's a waste of time.

Fabulous job! She went above and beyond. Always responded to questions quickly and thoroughly. She is reliable, honest and really cared about the project and its outcome. The absolute best contractor I have ever worked with, and I wouldn't have found her without Angie's List. I highly recommend this company.

Terri is the best. I have done a kitchen and bathroom remodel and both experiences left me hating the contractors. Terri changed all that. She is organized, a great communicator, and cares about every job. The work was beyond good. Her staff is hard working and courteous. I cannot recommend her enough.

they were very good but very expensive. She had to go to home depot because she didn't have all of the supplies. It was $65/hr for a handyman service.

I thought I was going to have to replace both gates but they were able to repair them and they look great. They also repaired some under the sink drywall in my kitchen. I plan to use SheCan2 for a bathroom remodel in the near future. Their specialty is remodels but they also perform handyperson work as well as fencing. They have been punctual every time, explain all work, and are very reasonable.

They were good, but their price was high, though, so I did not work with them. He was very professional and he was nice.

SheCan2 Didn't. I first made contact with SheCan2 on Feb 25. The receptionist took my name and number and said Terry will call me back. She did 3 days later. I was unavailable and she tried again 3 days after that. It's now been a week. She promised to have someone come out and repair my french doors which were not opening/closing properly within the next few days, but couldn't give me a specific date. I told her I wasn't in a hurry, but that communication was very important to me as I plan to sell the house and want it fixed before I put it on the market. I called 5 days later and left a message. She called back 2 days later and stated her crew had fouled up another job and was taking longer than expected to get it back on track. Terry said it would be a few more days, but again, no specific date. I was surprised to hear admission of fault, which made me leery. I never heard from her again. I found someone else through Angie's List and they took care of it right away. I would not call her again.

Our experience was, unfortunately, the same as several others here. Terri was initially responsive to my e-mail and inquired when we were looking to have the project done. We were looking to have the corrugated panels covering our patio replaced along with the screening around the patio. She said that they were busy for the next three weeks or so. We told her that it was more important to us to have the right person than to have it done right away but that we hoped to have it done within a month or so. When Terri came out she was nice enough. She took measurements, etc., and said that it looked like a job they could easily do. She said she'd have an estimate for us in a few days. We didn't hear back from her by Thursday afternoon (she was out on Monday morning) so we followed up with an e-mail asking for the status of the estimate. It is Tuesday afternoon of the following week and we still have not heard back from her. We can only assume that she decided that they could not do the job. We wish she had just told us this up front rather than wasting our time and hers. We would not consider using her for this or any other jobs based on this lack of professionalism. UPDATE: We did finally received the estimate (the day after I left the above review). It was very high and we will not be using this provider.

No work was performed. I asked if Terri could send me the quote anyway so that I could compare it to others I received, but despite suggesting she could put it together, I never received further response. I wouldn't hold this against them, since I read plenty of comments for other contractors who just never responded after providing initial site inspections.

This provider did not do any work for me! Here are the details: It took the better part of three weeks to finally meet with this provider because she was apparently too busy to meet any sooner. When she did show up, she was over 30 minutes late. After conferring with her about the work that needed to be done, she indicated she thought she could accommodate my needs; and at a reasonable price. It took another 7 days for her to respond to tell me she couldn't do the work because after meeting with her business partners, it was decided against taking the job for two reasons, as follows: 1) her partners thought the job may create some liability problems on their part, and 2) they were just too busy to take on the job. Very poor business practice! I would have been more understanding with this if she had told me in the first place about being too busy to do the work. As for the liability issue, she could have called me to have a discussion about her concerns, or she could have talked about it when she came on site to do the estimate. The bottom line is that I would never consider hiring her after this experience, nor would I recommend her to anyone!

It went very well. There were no problems at all, and the bridge is excellent.

Unfortunately, this provider ignored my request. Never responded to my email.

One of our windows was leaking from the top during rain storms. When I had Teri out to get a bid for extending the eve to protect that window she pointed out that that probably wasn't fixing the problem but there was probably a problem with the flashing around the window and that's why water was able to get in when it shouldn't. So we had them remove the window, which it turns out had no flashing around it, and re-install it with flashing. During the work they also discovered that the house had not been papered under the siding, so they installed paper under the section of siding that was replaced during this work. The workers were friendly and professional, and the leak appears to be gone. My only complaint would be that there was significant clean-up left inside after they were done. There was a lot of dust left on the windowsill, floor, and furniture near the window, and some caulking smudges on the floor near the window and on the baby gate at the door to the room. There was also some difficulty getting the job scheduled and started, but that was due to sick workers and another job that went over.

Based on the reviews here, I contacted SHECan2 to discuss a complete remodel of our kitchen. No one answered, so I left a voicemail message and asked that someone return our call to set up an appointment. It has now been 24 hours and no call back. Not a good way to begin a relationship that involves gutting a major room in the house and creating my "dream kitchen". At this point, I am not sure that I would use their services. ****Update 2/5/14**** We finally got a call back from this provider to explain that they had been very busy and had not had a chance to return our call. I am always a bit off put by this kind of answer. Having worked in a service industry for over 30 years, the excuse, "I was too busy to call" just doesn't cut it. If you are too busy to return my call as a potential customer, then I guess you don't need my business.

I'm not sure of the date. She came out to give me an estimate but never called back or sent me an estimate. I guess that what I needed was not a big enough project for her but I'll never know for sure. It would have cost her nothing to at least call. I have since had the job done by some one else.

The team arrived on time for the initial cost proposal meeting. The representative provided a detailed and reasonable cost est. and schedule for work to be preformed. The construction team arrived prepared to work on the scheduled day and time and completed work as scheduled in their proposal. The construction team was fabulous in working my 90 year old mother. They were patient, answered questions and in the end went above and beyond in noting that the area that needed repairs was most likely caused by inadequate work preformed by the company that installed the Statelite dish. The contractor provided written documentation stating that fact and subsequently my mom was able to get a reimbursement for those repairs from the Statelite company. We were very impressed with the teams professionalism. My mom just loves to tell everyone she sees about the great job Shecan2 did for her, how nice they were to her and that they helped to her save a lot money because they pointed out the statelite issue. I find her saying over and over again "I will hire them again, they were so great".
